How to force my android to download an update??

I am talking about the new google play. I still haven't received the update for my market so I need a way to update it. And btw.. Is it gud or bad?? I hav read alot of mixed opinions.

you must upgrade your sgy to the newer version firmware.
or you can download this google play store http://dl.dropbox.com/u/54790911/Vending.apk

its good.mine update automatically.i just found google play on my phone..

Google play shows authentication required.. You need to login in your google account.. Im alredy logged in... Facing this problem since it was launched... I tried wipe data, factory reset.... Itx nt solved .. Sumone help plz...

Did you download an apk or did Google Play install itself ?
I got Google Play when i updated my apps. I suppose it got updated automatically in the background.

Nw I figured out d prob... V cnt use google play through any vpn... Droidvpn wa my problem... Google is very wicked... Nw I hv to stop droidvpn engine in order to use google play...

[Mod] Xposed Framework for Android 4.3

This is based on the Xposed Installer 2.1.4 modded for the Android 4.3. Tested on the Nexus 4, so will work on any device with Android 4.3
Instructions
Create a nandroid backup before you start
Download XposedInstaller_2.1.4_mod.apk
Use a file explorer & Push it to /system/app
Change the file permissions to 644
Reboot
Done!

The xprivacy module is not fully compatible with Android 4.3. They added 4.3 support in the new beta, but use it at your own risk.

have you got an idea when xprivacy will be working in android 4.3 ?

Poweramp doesnt play any songs after install of Xposed.

After change location, xprivacy crashes all apps for me (I know is not the main subject but I recommend a backup before install it because even was not possible to uninstall it or xposed)

SDK 18 message and when i press install ..message not installed

Normal unmodified installer worked like a charm for me. (Cataclysm 4.3)

I get the same, HTC One running CM 10.2 with included root working/tested.
I get ./busybox-xposed: not found 5 times on the pop up, any ideas?
Edit: I pused to system and changed permissions, thats all we need to do right, then we still need to open the app and click on install button thats yellow with "You can try it if you feel adventurous"

I'm also on PA 4.3 and it won't work. When trying to move to system/app using Root Explorer, It says: "The paste operation failed. It may be that there was not enough free space on the target filesystem," but I have over 385 MB left. Tried just installing it and got the "App not installed" screen. Not sure what's causing this.

poweramp does not work anymore after i installed xposed

Okay pa 4.3 users its working for me on the latest build but u have to flash the latest supersu and that's it

Gapps reverting back to factory version

So guys I am having this weird issue in XZL C6502
It is as following
I am on 2.67 build rooted it and aftr few days I am getting gapps force close all the gapps force close
So I updated my playstore from 4.1.xx to 4.5.10 actually it updated itself and odr apps too aftr sumtym all gapps reverted to previous version
So please see 1. When gapps are on latest version NO FC!
2. After reboot apps gt reverted I dnt know why
3. On older version Gapps FC repeatedly
So help me and sorry if this has been asked
Provide me link of that thread and I'll request MODS to clean my mess

flash gapps of 4.3

I hadnt installed recovery so I cant any other way like I can push in system/app but my device is odexed so I dont think.its a good option and walkman also reverted to stock

custom rom flash failed

hey guys iv got samsung galaxy tab 3 8.0
its rooted the only thing is i can install custom roms the flash just fails altho it still lets me restore backed up roms
i tryed pac man 4.4.2 and i also tried slimkat rom but wont allow can anyone help will be much appreciated thanks

Be sure to install custom recovery to install rom.

One thing, did you "do a clean wipe for install rom?"

You need 2.7 to flash KK Roms. Update your recovery.

Didn't tried. Make a backup and try by urself. If you get a bootloop..just restore the backup you've made.

Did you read the OP?. I said that it was tested on back-to-n00t v5!.
Try to mount /system manually and then flash the zip. But backup first.
