Hi guys. I need help. I have LG G4 LS991. The phone was not fully flashed and after a Hard Reset some sections were erased. It doesn't enter in Download mode. Without battery as qdloader 9008. With the battery, the phone tries to on, but freezes and reboots at different stages. But it enters to the recovery and it's possible to connect the phone as adb sideload. ZV6 firmware with root is set on the phone and Update package does not install. Any thoughts on this? There are chances to recover?
Use lg pc suite connect device to pc if it detects ur phone go to mobile device and then restore upgrade errors it will download the firmware so it will take so time follow the process and flash it ...this works 100% for g3 not sure about g4..there is no harm in trying rit hit thanks if it helps...mind if u had famous bootloop issue that is hardware related it wont fix it

these devices have locked bootloaders. how did u install twrp?
best bet would to be to find what ever firmware device was on and reflash it with lg up or flash tool if u still have download mode.

@imider I have the same problem trying to recover from a hardbrick on H815. Tell me what happens if you pull battery, plug bag, hold VOL DOWN and insert USB. Do you get fastboot?
EDIT: You might be able to flash it in FlashTool (I said no before) because I see you have Official Status not MODIFIED.
Thanks for your reply guys.
I manage to flash it with LGUP with a TOT that I downloaded.
Thanks.

Congrat @imider ,
maybe you can share what you did to fix your G4
Hello,
First I wanted to flash a clean rom on LG G4 H810 and I don't know what I did but the flash doesn't work and my phone has a black screen even the logo is not displayed.
When I connect my phone to my PC (windows 10) it's detected as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008".
Now this is the step that I follow to repair my phone :
1) I follow this tuto : https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lg-g4-bricked-qualcomm-hs-usb-qdloader-t3609999
2) After that I can enter download mode
3) I flashed a tot with LGUP
I hope it will help.

I think it's because I changed in build.prop..please help me find a solution
Hey guys,
my LG G3 D855 stucks at the LG Logo and is not booting.
- no root, no usb-debugging enabled, no recovery
Tried to connect with fastboot to flash the recovery but the device is not found as fastboot device.

Any solutions for the problem?

Hi all,
I was wondering, once I have custom firmware and recovery on my lg g4, will I be able to reinstall the software from LG Bridge. I understand that I could use the kdz downloaded by it in LG UP, but I was wondering, if I put my phone in download mode, could the update error recovery utility in LG Bridge also reinstall it?
Thanks in advance for your help

I tried this recently just to see what it does, but it even didn't recognize the phone. So you probably need to use LGUP (which I used to go back to stock on my G4) or TWRP to flash something else.

I just tried it and interestingly if the phone is in download mode, it does get recognized as an LG device and will initiate an Update Error Recovery
