Optimus G Forum Structur - About xda-developers.com

Hello Xda i try to make it short:
Is it possible to make the Lg optimus G forum like G2 or g3 forum?
When u look un g2/3 u have gereral, q&a, android dev, orig android dev, themes, att G, sprint G,...
On optimus G: for every device (sprint, att,..) a extra frorum
But thats not good because the devices are mostly the same, so the support of roms is very the same. Sprint and G are meanwhile the same and between att and int is only a different kernel but all kernel works so no risk to brick, thats why i think its better and economic to bring all g variants to one place!
Thanks
Im not sure if im right here so sorry if im wrong
Sorry for bad english

Original Firmware on ATT?

Hi there,
i live in germany so i bought the LG Optimus G Pro from eBay.com but unfortunately the branding sucks and i cant choose any other language as english/spanish. Which official firmware fits for that phone?
thanks
This should be in the Q&A section not development. As a reply to question, maybe when we get a Cyanogenmod ROM you will have the choose of whatever language you wish. Was this device released in Germany, or more specifically is there a variant of the LG Optimus g pro in Germany ?

is it possible to install the Firmware of the e.g. E988? Can Files over 1 GB be flashed at the moment?
thanks
Not sure if there is a limitation on the file size. If I were you I'd pm a developer such as the one working on twrp, and see what he says.

Do us a favor and report your thread so that it is moved to the appropriate section. And then also read the forum rules that are stickied in every section. Not flaming or anything.

New G Pad 8.3 LTE confusion.

What forum do I need to be under to properly modify my new tablet?

I believe there is no forum for the LTE edition yet.

Does this mean that I should wait until a forum is created strictly for the LTE verzion or am I safe to disregard?

I guess you can ask for anything you want to know here, but it might be hard to answer. There has been no development whatsoever for the LTE version yet.
Maybe ask a mod to open a section here for the LTE.
A LTE G Pad is still a G Pad, you can ask questions about the stock lg rom and the device itself but no development

List with Roms for the E986?

Hi guys,
Just wanted to know if there is a list or something with Roms for the E986?
Thanks

any custom rom that works on any 98X also works on 986 too. the only ones that I stay away from are the 240 korean models.
maybe somebody else knows better.
What about Basebands?

No need to worry about baseband. At least I've never had to.

I don't think threads like this belong here. This thread should be in Q&A, right?

If the AOSP kernel uppon2 posted works on AOSP ROMs for the E986, then you can flash AOSP ROMs for F24X. Tested a couple of them on a Chinese forum and they worked without any problems.
