hey brother, What rom did you end up using, for your SGH-I317 , I managed to get the international I 9505 Phoenix software to work on my SGH-I337 S4, so far boot loops with 7100 Phoenix rom on the I317 so sad, I got her back to stock now, but want the spanish language and mult window features of advanced ROM

[Q] What Roms can we flash?

Are we able to flash att s4 roms, verizon, and sprint roms? Or just tmobile roms and i9505?
Pretty much anything based off i9505 hardware. Just make sure to grab a T-Mobile kernel in the t-mob original dev forum. Make sure you're getting just the rom and not the modem with (unlikely, just avoid odin files).

Yes u can flash any S4 or should i say most of S4 roms in to T-mobile s4. [ I flashed international S4 ROM in to my s4 its working fine smooth ]
All u have to do is flash T-Mobile M919 comparable kernel after ROM flash and u are good.
Leave Odin files alone unless they are specifically meant for the M919... leave ALL ROMs alone if they are for i9500. All other S4 variants (including i9505) are perfectly fine as long as a T-Mobile kernel is used.

[Q] Which T-mobile Rom Wifi Calling for AT&T S4?

Hi - I have bought an AT&T S4 with the following version:
4.2.2
I337UCUAMDL
I did the XDA method for unlock, it worked great. Then did super root and it worked, also installed TWRP. I've also done the AWS band unlock.
Now, the biggest challenge, which rom do I install for the stock T-mobile features? Mainly I just want a stable rom with T-mobile wifi calling.
I would appreciate the help.
Thanks!
I've heard people flash wicked on the att s4. Version 9.1 just came out:

AT&T 1337 wifi calling no.
Any of the ROM base on T-Mobile firmware will work. Wicked or Infamous probably the two most popular.
☞ Sent from here☜???
Thanks, I'll look into it, hopefully someone will have a stock type t-mobile rom soon

What do you mean? In the Development section there are plain ole rooted/stock and modified stock T-Mo ROMs with WiFi calling. Based on MDB, MDL, and MK2 now; you may have to dig a little farther than page 1 for the MDB/MDL bases, but they're there.

I am open to correction, but I was under the impression all those roms would work on the 1337 but wifi calling would only function on the M919 variation.

If you flashed a T-mobile ROM and have a T-mobile SIM card Wi-Fi calling should work.

You are absolutely right, what's needed is:
1: AT&T Unlocked Phone
2: Tmobile Sim Card
3: Any Tmobile rom which is based on Samsung 4.2.2 or 4.3 Jellybean firmware.(rom)
Anyone who meets these three criterias can have wifi calling.
Thank you, that is what i needed to know.
Now, I just need to find a reliable T-mobile rom. If anyone has thread links or a name of the rom, please let me know.
I'll see if there is a stock T-mobile rom available that can be flashed on a rooted AT&T phone with 4.2.2 (MK2)

You keep asking but the question has been answered three times... Post number two and four list the roms you should be using. Post number six tells you where to get the stock rom, If for some odd reason you want a slow bloated stock rom (why?)
moving ATT s4 on MK2 baseband to T-Mobile?
Thank you for this thread...
Can someone explain how having an ATT Galaxy s4 MK2 baseband will limit the installation of T-Mobile ROMs?
Or if it actually doesn't? I understand (from ATT threads) that being on MK2 means I must use specific ROMs compatible with SafeStrap.
Do limitations arise from the MK2 bootloader, and not the MK2 modem? Are the two separate?
I'm lost with how this impacts my use of T-Mobile ROMs and appreciate any elaboration on the topic. Thank you kindly

Not that I'm aware of. I mean, I use T-Mobile Kernels on T-Mobile roms without Wifi/NFC/BT patches needed for N9005 roms

so I still need to flash kernel (like compulsion kernel) after flashing the t-mobile rom, right?
T-mobile rom in general work GREAT doing nothing else. I tested few of them and all works, I was force to flush the wi/bt/nfc fix when I used the international version. Also after install the fix, you must install compulsion kernel in order to NFC work

Uh.. I actually don't know the answer to that, sorry. What I do know is that Lean/Compulsion/ColonelX all work fine on my phone Never tried stock N900T. You for sure don't need to flash the patch that you normally would for N9005 roms though.

i9508 on m919

Is it possible to install an i9508 rom on an m919 T-Mobile?
You can't install a stock 9508 on an m919.

Not stock. I want to install TencentOS which is only available for the i9508 not the i9505 which I could flash.
In that case, I can't say whether it is or is not possible as I am not familiar with TencentOS and I don't have a T-mobile s4.
