Reading out loud my email links, weather and time - T-Mobile LG G3

This is very annoying. Every time I press the weather or time on my Home screen the phone reads everything out loud even the fact that I pressed the settings button with in the time box. When I press the card area, right below the weather and time the phone will read out loud what ever the card is saying even saying out loud that I pressed the card itself. Also when I press a link in my email the phone will say out loud "Link pressed". I have looked in Accessibility and the Google settings and I find no way to turn this off. How do I stop this? This started happening yesterday. Thanks for all and any help.

OK... Need more info

Audible touch tones ...

Audible touch tones just stopped working.
This morning when i used dial pad i've noticed that there is only vibrating without any sound...
I checked in sound settings and there is everything as it should be.
Is there any known solution for this, except master reset...
Thanks...

Ok, so i've managed to solve this...
this has happened when i pulled out my battery without turning off the phone 1st.
So i tried everything what came to my mind, like changing sound levels etc. manually.
Then another thing came across my mind..
pressed and hold power button, turned the phone to silent, then did this same and turned the silent mode off, and it worked...
Just to mention I've never before put phone to silent, and while audible touch tones weren't working, when i press some number in my dial pad, i could hear "something" on speakerphone, something like that action was made but melody was missing.
I was trying to find solution at google but without success, but i saw that there is a lot of people having the same issue, so i recommend to try this, what i've did...
cheers...
it not working for me, but i found solution,
download "audio manager" from market, you can see that, system volume is set to min/off
i set system volume to max and uninstall app, after phone restart tones still all right!

Zenwatch seems to vibrate for no reason

Hello, Second day of ownership and I am already having an issue. The watch vibrates, I check it for a notification, nothing there. Awhile later, vibrates again, no notification. Sometimes there is a notification it got from the phone, but 90% of the time it seems to be vibrating for no reason.
I tried to wear it to bed last night but the incessant vibrations were annoying.
Even if it was vibrating when I got a notification,is there a way to tell it not to vibrate for certain hours?
Thanks

Check google fit settings. Mine use to do that but "fit" was buzzing me to get active and get moving. When I told it not to urge me to move the vibrations stopped. good luck?
I don't see Fit on the watch or on my phone? Is it hiding? I went into the watch settings and nothing there for fit? On the phone I have the Wellness app but the option to bug me to move is off so that shouldn't be it. It seems you are on the right track, but I don't know how to find the app?
Thanks

Did you try resetting the watch back to default?
Wellness, just like fit, has a "Remind me to move" feature that will send vibrations. Also, if you have it set to remind you when you forget your phone it will vibrate without any message when it loses connection.

HTC 10 and Wear silent mode not dnd

So I've just received my HTC 10. Got it as a gift and it's an upgrade from my Galaxy S6. There is a lot to like, but I've found some very annoying things that I seem unable to solve. Like not being able to edit the Quick Settings and the reason for opening this thread: no way of turning off sound AND vibration while using a an Android Wear watch.
On my S6 I was able to simply turn down the volume until it went to vibrate and then press volume down again. That way the phone was entirely silent and only my watch would vibrate. Not so with the 10. It'll either vibrate or it goes to Do-Not-Disturb mode meaning my watch doesn't vibrate anymore either.
It's extremely annoying as I'm often in meetings with my phone on the table in silent mode. That way I get notifications on my wrist while the phone is silent. Now I'm forced to put everything to silent and miss calls and messages as a result. It totally defeats the purpose of having the watch for notifications.
As I got the phone from HTC I wanted to hold off from rooting it, but it looks like it's either that or going back to the S6. Am I doing something something wrong/not finding the right settings or did HTC just forget?
Thanks in advance for your reply!

Yeah, this is weird from HTC. On previous devices the silent setting would work exactly like the Galaxy S6 one. It's strange that in the 10 it goes straight to DND mode.
As a workaround, if you don't want to root, you can tweak DND Mode to allow every notification through and get it on the smartwatch as well. This is not ideal, especially if you want to use DND mode for what it's meant...

Unfortunately I also use DND often so this is not an ideal solution, but it'll have to do for now
HTC uses the same idea as Nexus device now, since HTC A9, which means the sound profile has only : normal, vibrate, and DND, no silent mode anymore; and the notification panel also followed Nexus, but don't worry, in Android N you can change quick settings in notification panel, just need to wait for 5 months.
Also, you can set up some apps, treat them as priority, so that they may go through. I don't use smart watch so I could be wrong. But this is just a problem about habit, once you get used to it, everything's fine.

The phone also vibrates on messages and emails. There are multiple work arounds, but none as quick as just turning down the volume and have your phone be silent. I don't want to dive into settings everytime I walk into a meeting.

you don't need to dive into the settings,
1: drag down the quick settings and tap on DND, only 2 steps;
2: press and hold volume down button, when switched to vibrates mode, tap on the bell icon, also only 2 steps.

I meant to do the settings where you change the priority mode settings each time you want the phone to be silent, but don't want DND on etc.

Strange Problem with Google reminders (Specific to LG G4?)

After using google reminders for years ("Ok google...remind me about laundry in 45 minutes")..i have suddenly encountered a strange problem. When i say a reminder command, the "ready to save?" screeen comes up, showing the reminder title, time etc...and then there is the blue check mark to confirm and save reminder.
The issue is, when i touch the checkmark, 95% of the time, the screen just minimizes and goes to my home screen. The "reminder saved" window doesn't come up, and the reminder does not get saved. Anyone experienced this issue before? It just started happening about 3 weeks ago, and once in a while, it will actually save the reminder, but 95% of the time it just closes the window, and goes to the home screen, and the reminder is not saved. Please help!!! thanks
It is probably the same update that broke my ok Google confirmation tone. Revert back to an earlier version and test. My tone reverted to a vibrate after saying ok google, which most of the time, when you're talking to your phone, you are hands free so you don't hear an audible tone to know to start talking. I reverted to the version before update and all is right with Google again lol.
The lasted Google Now version is also bugging me. Sometimes it pops up the voice recording when I plug my headphones in for no reason. This didn't happen before. I'm pretty sure it's the app that I'd bugged

Notifications get stuck on silent

I put my Note 10+ on silent at night and it's on vibrate when I'm at work.
When I put it back on sound via the pull down panel, often the notifications do not go back to full sound which is rather annoying.
Is this a known issue?
Personally, I use "Bixby Routines" to set the locations where phone is on silent/vibration and on sound.
The volumes stay as they were when it changes and it works seamlessly.
Like you said, at workwhere I need it silent, it uses GPS to determine where I am and changes to vibrate , when I walk through the door at home it turns all sound back on.
Neat little feature that is hidden on the phone like soooo many awesome things...

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely explore this. I have a lot to learn after 3 years with Huawei.

LOL, it's a new feature exclusive to Note 10/10+...
Tried to install Bixby Routines onto the Note 9 but it fails...
To find little nuggets of information and awesome features, youtube is your friend... 90% you may already know but there are always little surprises there too, like how to send an sms at a certain time even if you don't have your phone with you. Good for espionage... Also you can set a reminder from a received sms to sound at a certain time and the message will show up on the screen again.
Always learning....
I have this same problem. It's rather annoying
I have a similar issue, but, in my case ALL notifications sound, except gmail, I've been trying anything that I could think of to no avail, I finally gave up and made a macro to sound when a gmail arrives, it's just a work around, but works
Same issue when using Volume buttons and Bixby Routine
Please let me know when someone figures this out. It is rather frustrating! So when I use Bixby Routine it knows the location of my workplace and automatically changes my phone to vibrate mode and when I leave work it changes the sound to turn back on. The only issue is that everything goes back to normal (ringtone, media, system, Bixby voice) except for notifications!
Even if I adjust my phone using just the volume buttons instead of the Bixby routine it would change everything to vibrate but when I change it back the notification sound is the only thing that stays silent while everything else goes back to the setting I originally had it at.
Ugh... I already cleared my cache with the physical button I thought it worked but it went back to doing the same thing...
