My issue is that when I use the stock G3 file manager to find photos it shows some random thumbnail of the wrong photo.
For example if I have a photo of bird the file name is bird and it matches the photo, but the thumbnail view could be of a dog. Here is the interesting part when I tap on the file and open it; it is the photo it is supposed to be this causes a problem when trying to find photos by the thumbnail view. I like this program because it allows me to create shortcuts on my home pages with a thumbnail of the actual picture any help would be appreciated or suggestion of another app that will do the same I tried ES and quite a few others but none work the same as the stock LG file manager.

Hello,
Some times, every photo and video material disappearing from my phone. Gallery shows nothing. But all photoes and videos are still on SD card. The main point, that I can't reach them. Some widgets, like gallery widget, can show me the pictures, but when I pres on the photo to zoom it - black screen appears and that is it. How can I solve this problem?
see if there is a nomedia file in your photos folder if there one then delete it and your photos will appear again
if it doesn't work then try another app to see the pictures just to know if the problem from the stock gallery app
I am on latest andromadus, and when I go to gallery and select pictures there is not an option to delete pictures. If I am in the camera app part, i can view and select a single picture and delete it, but when it links me to gallery I again do not have the option to delete pictures. Any suggestions?
not sure which gallery andromadus uses but have you tried long press? maybe highlight a pic and hit menu or more? use a file manager? download a different gallery app?
Hi,
It seems like the stock camera app is saving pics taken "normally" and videos in the one folder while shots taken in burst mode (even if only 1 shot was fired) and timeshift burst photos are put in separate folders. This means that a single burst, even if there's only a single file, is in it's own folder.
This makes any gallery app a mess because it honours the folder structure first and then the user defined sort order second.
I would like a way to force the app to consolidate all my files in a single folder or find a way to force a gallery app to display them all as a single folder. The Google+ Photos app will do this but it doesn't let me choose which folders to include or ignore so it pulls all non-photos as long as there are images. I really like Quickpic but it doesn't do what I need at the moment.
Can somebody please tell me if what I've requested is possible? I am open to using alternative gallery apps.
Cheers!
Hey guys. So I'm having a weird problem with my camera/gallery. Whenever I take a picture or video, I'm unable to view it via gallery right away. What I mean is I would take a picture, but I would be unable to view the gallery through the camera app (the bottom right button when using camera). It's just the grey default picture icon for the button and when I press it nothing happens. Also if I were to try to find the picture by manually going to the gallery app, it would still not be there. The picture does save however. I find it by going through DCIM in a file explorer (ES File Explorer). Once I open the picture through ES and choose gallery to open it, I am then able to access the picture through the gallery app. Sorry if this sounds a bit confusing, it's just a weird problem. Any help would be much appreciated on how to fix this.
What I'm currently running right now is:
ARHD 11.1
ElementalX 1.04
S-Off
SuperCid
Current firmware
Also I'm not sure when this problem started happening because I've never really used camera until recently. So I wouldn't know if it's something I flashed recently or what.
I've noticed that some old photos appear first in the album randomly even if I delete them. And also some photos are blurred. I'm using the Album app that was preinstalled when I bought the phone. Someone with the same problem and know how to fix this?
Had it before. If they are blurred duplicates of the photos you already have, chances are its the thumbnails. Just locate the Thumbnail Folder ( varies for devices ) and create a ".nomedia" file in there to exclude that portion from being scanned.
After which be sure to Clear your Album App Data in settings A quick restart after that should do the trick.
