I just flashed to fresh 2.2 Rom and everything works except WiFi and tethering. I have all the new zip files and flashed them several times. Is there a solution to fix the WiFi issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue, and the steps I did to get it working was;
Factory Reset
Hard Reset
Wipe...
After those steps that i randomly took it worked. I found it weird but that did the job.
Hope this helps you out.
as a not SPRINT fixed the bug that let us wirelessly tether with the OTA. Currently you can use a custom kernel and still tether but without a custom kernel right now you can not tether without the sprint service (hopefully soon they have a workaround)
which kernel is the one to use i am using Netarchy 3.7.6 and was told before that it would work

i am using netarchy 3.7.6 for froyo. Is there another one that enables wireless tethering?
So for some reason, I can not get wifi tethering to work on VirginROM.
Stock or with KT kernel, same result, I can connect but no internet access. I wait for 10 minutes and nothing. Even with Barnacle App still can't get internet access.
Not sure if I have to revert to stock 4.2.2 which I don't want to do but don't think I have a choice at this point unless someone knows of a fix, or if this is a issue. Actually is an issue with multiple installs of this rom and other roms.
Thanks!

I've used wifi tethering on VirginROM without any issues... maybe try a clean wipe and re-flashing it? I've got nothing else, sorry.
I made Mr Virginia aware of this a few months ago and he figured out that you need the the T-Mobile CSC files or something like that. I haven't used his ROM in months but IIRC they were in the bottom of the original post.
I decided to give Kit Kat another try a few days ago, but since then I have not been able to connect to LTE.
Prior to flashing I was running CM10.2 and my LTE was working fine. I initially lost LTE when I flashed PACMAN. I have also tried AOSB/ProBAM and Beanstalk. None of the Kit Kat roms gave me LTE so I gave up and restored CM10.2, but afterward I was still not getting any LTE connection.
I tried flashing the MD4 modem, but that didn't seem to fix anything. I've also heard that going back to stock could help, but I'd rather not have Knox if I don't have to use it. Which stock ROM here on XDA would be the best (Not planning on using the ROM. I just want LTE and then will flash back to Kit Kat)? Would a different modem fix my LTE issues? Is MK3 better than MD4, or are there any newer modems I should try?
Thanks for the help!

Any of the ROMS that have [TW] in the title should work. Full Knox only comes with flashing a tar file in ODIN, because your flashing every partition of the phone. Modified stock ROM zips do not have knox, unless otherwise noted. Make sure to do a prl and profile update when you flash to stock.

Flashed Wicked Sensations last night with the MK3 modem and I seemed to be getting LTE as soon as that booted. Updated my PRL and Profile, and then wiped. Installed AOSB again, and I seemed to be getting LTE until I rebooted. After the first reboot I seem to be stuck in 3G again.
Im currently running AOSB on 2 devices. When I first flashed them, I had the same issue until I rebooted the phone. After that I never had this issue again.

I think that's the opposite of what happened to me. My status bar said I had LTE when I first booted AOSB (this was after flashing/wiping TW). After the first reboot it connected to 3G and I haven't seen the LTE signal since.
I have updated the APNs, but I was using the same APNs for a while and had LTE on CM10.2 with them.

This is something wierd with Kitkat. I do not believe a fix has been found just yet. but if you dial *#*#info#*#* on most phones you can get into the phone systems and turn LTE back on.

I didn't know about this menu. Thanks for that. I went into Phone Info and tried selecting LTE only but it didn't connect to anything. Not sure what that means. There are other
There are some other options in there for networks (e.g. TD-SCDMA, CDMA auto). Would any of them help picking up Sprint LTE?
Other options include:
Turn off radio, CellInfoListRate
Turn on IMS registration required
Turn on SMS over IMS
Turn on lte ram dump
SMSC:_____________ Update Refresh

KitKat roms are currently having data issues. You could try backing up your current KK rom and go back to Stock, update prl and backup your DNS settings then go back to your backed up KK rom and restore from the dns settings you backed up.
How does one downgrade from kitkat to jellybean? I tried to just flash a jellybean ROM with a clean install and got an error?

ohhh i had this issue but i figured it out for pacman and most roms just download nova launcher and when you do create a shortcut on nova ad click on setting an it should say apn once there u open it and youll see where it says ehprd something like that click on it and go all the way to the bottom and change where it says bearer to ehrpd and lte should work ^_^
Ok so I finally got it working, although I'm not sure what was wrong with everything in the first place. My buddy said Cyanogenmod screwed up a recent ROM, so maybe that code was in one of the ROMs I was using.
Each time I flashed back to TouchWiz (I ended up using Wicked Sensations) I could get 4G/LTE. I ran a **72786*, did a PRL & profile update. Prior to finding a working ROM, when I went back to BeanStalk/PACMAN I would lose LTE. After I found the updated BeanStalk ROM I flashed and it still had LTE! Happy days!
At this point I was able to send MMS somehow, but phone was having problems being recognized by the network. I could connect to LTE but couldn't use the data. After I updated the APNs everything started working again.

Not yet. Still have to reboot.
But I'm working on trying to make stock ROM's work with GSM also. And from what I'm seeing it MAY fix that.
I can't even get tether to work
I was wondering if there was a way to completely delete or remove Mobile Network off the phone using root browser or whatever, or turning my rooted Sprint Galaxy s3 into a WIFI only Device, where at the top it only shows WIFI not Networks. if this makes any sense. I Dont have Service on this phone.
On a custom AOSP ROM you can..... On TW roms you can probably go into airplane mode but keep wifi on, and it should work the same.

with an Xposed module i believe even in TW roms you can hide the WiFi icon itself but idk about completely removing it
Basically what I'm trying to do is to make my galaxy s3 WiFi only device. I managed to remove the activation stuff off, now I'm trying to see if I can completely remove the data bars and stuff. I know you said with a Rom I should be able to do something is there a particular mod or rom you would recommend for this. I have use vanity, Pac rom and hellfire but I'm finding that the rooms are overheating my phone. Right now I'm running stocked rooted 4.4.2 odexed

try CarbonRom latest build or you can ask on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634672 the thread here if you can do that since CarbonRom is one of the most customizable roms
