Bleach isn't that strong... Acetone will melt plastic, my wife destroyed out roku remote with pure acetone. I was thinking a 1:4 acetone water mixture so that the acetone won't be as strong.
They sell a bunch of genuine back covers for the Note 4 on eBay. I personally like the AT&T logo, not that I endorse them or anything.

Hey, I was thinking about buying the wireless charging back also. Does it add to the thickness of your note4? I have a cover, one piece, that goes over my phone, and it's somewhat already tight. I'm thinking it would make the phone a little to thick to put my cover on.
I also covered it up by getting rid of it. Samsung wireless charging back! I actually find the extra thickness more comfortable in the hand.
Now how to get rid of the att in the d the status bar without root?

It does add a decent amount of thickness. Instead of being a hump, the camera sits nearly flush and the heart rate sensor/flash is recessed instead of flush.

The wireless charging back is definitely thicker. No case that is rigid and/or tight with the regular back will fit.
Goof off works wonders, and it's been very safe for whatever I applied it to, even delicate stuff.
Anyone else want to desperately get rid of the Samsung logo on the FRONT? I hate it and really really miss the sleek blackness of an iPhone. I'm still on the lookout for a screen protector with the area over the logo blackened, I know the Note 3 had SS's like that.
I could not care less about the Samsung logo on the front if I tried.
I'm not sitting there staring at the logo, I'm looking at the screen (aka using the phone).
Use an Otterbox to cover any predisposing logos, haha.

I don't really notice logos. For instance I couldn't tell you if my TV at home even has a logo. I'm sure it does, but I don't ever look at it so it doesn't bother me.
Obviously if the logo were personally offensive to me I would probably have a different opinion.

I bought it too, and it does add some thickness to it, but oddly I find it more comfortable to hold
Purchased the wireless charging back but with me wanting to use an all clear case for protection I decided against it. It wouldnt fit with the extra bulk.
I also purchased a OEM Note 4 back without a carrier logo and got what I wanted. No carrier logo and the protection my clear case offered. The two stage case is nice since it offers some protection but also allows me to see my device in full.

Hey guys, found this on ebay:
I was originally searching for a custom back cover some of the Google employees got.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Ba...ccessories&hash=item3cbda658d5#ht_2449wt_1180
Seller says its "original" (wtf)
Think its worth it/looks nice?
oh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no
Is that the Verizon one?
I need to learn my different models...
Anyway, a 3rd party back plate may be problematic with the tabs. Probably crappier material and I can see the tabs snapping off.
You could always spray paint it yourself...
Galaxy Nexus - 4.0.3 CM9
Asus Transformer - 3.2 Revolver
It's for GSM, I'd like to try it actually, but the price is the same of a case from a reputable manufacturer, to pull or not to pull.''
What makes me curious is why it has white logos, instead of something like gray.(full invert of the real battery cover)
Well the prongs all seem to match up.. who's going to pull the trigger?
my guess with it saying "original" and having logos same shade as the rest of it is that it is an official back cover from samsung... just painted...
I'd like a custom backplate too, but that white does not match AT ALL with the rest of the Gnex.
Why would anyone do that? It looks terrible.

Maybe with certain white cases, it'll match up, shrug.
But given the seller's rating, I'd say it's legit - just seems overpriced for a flimsy piece of plastic.
Because they're original white because there making the the phone in white already is my guess. I would a got it in white

That is OEM and has the Google logo like the grey one and the Samsung logo...looks nice on the White Galaxy Nexus, not so much on the Grey one
You can't see either logo with the light they have, but it's there
it's not original, the original has the serial number engraved at the bottom, whiles this is near the middle on the right hand side, it seems like it was made from the same manufacturer as those metalic silver one that were on sale before in ebay, the connectors were in the wrong place, but this time, the white one has the connectors in the right place, and upto now i haven't hear of any white gnex, so I think why would a white cover surface before the actual phone.
I wont say a white gnex will never be in production in the near future, just that it's strange a cover comes out of nowhere.

I'm not really into cases, but would you think a certain color of carbon fiber skin would look nice with this battery door?
you can just spray paint it if you want. wont harm anything at all.
Never done this before, I definitely don't want to screw it up and get a bad finish or something.
A white battery door, personally I think would look out of place. Now I'm debating on how difficult the phone actually is to dissect, and hoping to wrap the housing in some sort of white vinyl.

Anyone got a good idea for a nice sticker to hide the "SAMSUNG" logo on the back door? I'm ashamed that it's there.
Anything android-ish and horizontal (since it's SAMSUNG and not a vertical word or anything) should be fine
Thanks
The logo can be rubbed off with some sugar.

Your ashamed to have a samsung phone?
First you should ask yourself if you are more ashamed to have a Samsung logo on your phone or a tacky sticker stuck on your premium phone.
Some people have taken to buying skins that cover the whole back. If you just need a small sticker though I think you should probably get some sticker paper to print it yourself so you can get it the right size and right design. Something like the Android logo on a grey background would do.

You use a sugar cube, get one side damp and rub the decal lightly. Iv done it before on my computer but that had a hard black glossy paint. I might try and see how it effects the inside of the battery cover first to see how it looks

The sugar method works best on metal. It may damage the plastic, especially since it is textured plastic. Try at your own risk.

This did make me laugh to myself. I can only suggest using a craft knife or something of the sort and lightly scraping the branding off at a 45 degree angle. It seems like a rubberized plastic back and I can't see it being too difficult to do, however it's just going to leave a really ugly mark on the back of the phone.
If you've purchased an iPad, it comes with an Apple sticker. You could use that
Kidding aside, you should be able to purchase a new back without the logos or I'm sure you can chemically remove the one on there. Putting a sticking on top will make your $700 phone look like a toy.
A quick look on eBay earlier, all the battery covers seemed to be OEM ones or still had the Samsung logo at least.
If you were going to try and remove the logo, you'd probably be best off buying a spare one off eBay and trying on that instead.
That way if it looked terrible, you could just put up with the original one or still go down the sticker route.

So I got a flip cover from the Samsung US website and it doesn't snap on my note. The little prongs are very short and don't even line up properly. A couple of the corners seem to snap on, but the other two don't, and the whole cover just doesn't stay on at all. Really crappy manufacturing from an original Samsung accessory. Very disappointed with Samsung on this one...
are you using this on International Note? The back cover of US model is not compatible with the International model.
And sometimes you really need to apply some pressure to snap it in place first time.
I'm using the international flip cover with the international Note and am very impressed with the quality and finish. Fits like a glove and looks exclusive too.

Personally, I don't like the booklet/diary cover type case on the Note...
In taking or dialling a call, you have to flip it all the way to the back of the phone (just for the sake of it.) For me it's kind of awkward to hold on with the flip cover being flipped at the back.
I like the flip down cover case more. No hassle, just flip it down when your going to use your Note, and flip it up again when your done using your phone.

Yes.. I agree, I got one with the note when I bought it 4 months ago, and I didn't really like how you have to fold it back to make/receive a call. I took it off and now its just sitting in my drawer and now I am using my note without any case as it just looks good without any case. I just didn't want to add any bulkiness as its already a big phone...
just bought a flip down leathercase (black), Now I'm really not feeling awkward in using my phone...
Using the flip diary cover back then was a cumbersome part really on my end to use my phone (especially in calling)... Now that I bought the flip-down leathercase....
I get the ease of use and better protection already .. all rolled into one

The Samsung flip cover is nice and thin, but I gave up on it because it does not fit in the Car Dock or the desk dock. I would like one same in concept, but flip over the top - just like the Palm Tungsten T3 I used for years.

Bending the cover/lid all the way to back, is not my take of convenience... IMHO..
I would prefer the flip-down cover, where if you would use the phone (taking/receiving calls or what-nots), its just a simple way of flipping down the cover, no strain needed at all.... (as compared to the diary/booklet type where you really have to exert some force bending the face cover all the way to the back of it and hold it with with your hand).
That's just my take anyway... I guess to each its own.. whichever suits your fancy..
Why u should NOT USE that flip cover..

We five friends took 5 notes at the same go and got the same flip cover by Samsung, free with them,
3 out of five were perfect fit, however two of them were not completely flushed with the body as described by you, they replaced both of them in a week one was a fit and one was plagued with the same issue.
The retailer told that it was a known issue with the last lot of covers that he received.(He claimed returning 16 of those covers and directing four people to service center)
So this time we were redirected to a service center where they adjusted some groves on the phone and the same cover flushed properly with the phone.
All the three notes without the issues were for guys and the other two belonged to girls LOL ha ha ha well that's a different story.
Off topic:
I am not happy with the build quality of the flip covers as its just few weeks old and the leather(or whatever it is) is already peeling from different places had to use tiny bits of super glue..........
Confused
My people out here just wanted to know if there is any difference between the SGN I7000 and the ATnt version, HW wise am asking that too not internal.
Cause the other day I saw a hard case and holster for note, it was advertised just for SGN atnt 717, but not for I7000.
So my question is will it fit both?? Or is there any difference in the contours of the phone body??
TIA

Actually the atnt version is slightly smaller than the international version, but includes 4g lte. Also the exynos processor is faster than the snapdragon processor found in the atnt version. Also, the atnt version has 4 soft touch buttons at the bottom of the screen and the international version has 2 soft touch buttons, with a physical home button between them.

The Samsung flip cover is not that bad - it gives a fairly ok rear protection to SGN and gives the phone a classy look when viewed from the front.
The only protection for my SGN i still need is a screen guard
The add-on stock Samsung Flip cover is an eye candy alright, and I agree.. it gives a classy and sleekness on the phone itself.... BUT
comfortability and usability wise... it's another case already... I totally dislike the usability of it... It is not convenient (for me) using it especially on taking or recieving calls, It is totally cumbersome and awkward to flip it all the way to the back of the phone...
My vote still goes to the flip down cover... usability and comfortability for me is my first and primary concern, and that's all that matters to me.
The flip cover has a cutout for the speaker, so you could just leave it closed while taking a call. Granted, it's still uncomfortable to use with it flipped back.
No way... I'd rather prefer having my cheek pressing on the Note's glass surface rather than the cardboard cover itself..
don't you think it's too much awkwardness already? (flipping the cover all the way to the back of the phone and now talking and pressing your cheeks on the hard cover)

They are pretty cool, and useful. It's saved my phone a couple times so far.
Got a cool green one for flash and a black one for cash (work) lol...

For me, i attached a charm around my phone's case between the camera and secondary microphone holes. Its nice since it doesn't force you to undo the charm whenever you are pulling out the battery door out =] all you do is remove the case and presto!

If you have one of the many Androidified Cruzer Lite case (with embossed Andy on the back) there's provision for a cell phone strap on one of the top corner.
There's no loop for a strap because it's not a clam shell phone, and nothing could be worse for the screen than precariously dangling it from your wrist/hip/purse to get banged around by whatever your body comes into contact with when you're walking around.
That's a $500 phone that you're considering hanging off of your body for the world to see, held on by a single strap. It's smaller than a purse, making it easier to steal, and worth more than most people make in a week. Think about that for a moment.
But if you're really that interested, case manufacturers often sell cases that come with a loop for attaching a strap. Google it.

If you get one of the cruzer lite cases as stated above, you dont have to drill or use a hole that it wasnt meant for. It has it on the upper right (if your phone's screen is facing you) corner.

I think the fact of it being a $500.00 phone is why the OP wants a strap. I have never thought that they were solely for carrying the phone around, but to keep it from hitting the deck if it slips out of your hand while in use. Kind of the same way wii controllers have a strap to prevent you from impaling your TV.

Okay so i got the official wireless charger back cover from Verizon. With the wireless back on the phone(it adds some thickness) none of my cases would fit anymore. So If you bend the back cover with the wireless charger on it. The charger will begin to slowly peel away and off of the case. You can then transfer it to your new case. So i pulled it apart and put it in my otterbox defender case(i also put it in my trident kraken case and it worked). Works like a charm. If you have any questions just ask! also if you like the mod hit the thanksss button for me

When you took out the back battery cover and put the otterbox defender on top of it,
Did it create gapps on the hole of the camera, speaker, and flash where debris or dirt can
Easily get inside?
Can you take a picture of the back of the phone with the inductive charger put in while inside of the otterbox case please?
I never noticed it till i took this picture. However im probly going to cut the camera section off of the verizon case and glue it inside the otterbox so it seals that gap
I cut out a rectangle around the camera section of a pebble blue battery cover i got for free. put it in the case and you can see it fills int he gap.
I had to give my phone/case a good cleaning after looking at these pics lol
Does the charger tell you when the battery is charged?

The charging pad beeps when your phone starts/stops charging. It also has a green battery light that flashes while charging and will stop flashing and stay on when the phone is done charging.
Where?
Can I please ask where you guys are getting your wireless charging cover? It is out of stock on VZW's website, and I even went to a local corporate store and they told me all the regional warehouses are out of stock and a back-order for one can't even be placed!
Thanks, please advise!!

I read on here someone ordered one off amazon a few days ago. Outside of that your best bet would be to order one through the guy above me.
