I know how to open an app as a popup window via the recents menu but how do you do it via notification bar? Example: if my wife messages me via hangouts, i can open it via recents and open it immediately as a popup so i dont have to exit whatever app i'm currently in. I also know you can do this via the sidebar menu but is there a way to do that via the notification bar?
Thanks

I get a text and I dragged my finger down, choose it, read it. I go back to home and I see a indicator on my messages icon saying one unread. I have to click on messages and then it clears when I go back home.
Is there a way to not make it show up on the notification bar when I get a new text? It's annoying that it doesn't register that I've read it when I check through the notification bar.
Go into the messaging app and press the menu button. Scroll down and unselect incoming notification.

Thanks man. It was getting really annoying.
The notification drawer is not closing after I select the notification to open the Gmail. If I don't manually close the drawer, it's as if nothing happened even though Gmail has opened behind it. Anyone know of a fix for this?
For the default messaging app, how do I get the small icon that shows up on the top right of the app icon to disappear everytime i get a text?

I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem or knew of a solution whenever I have widget locker enabled and I recieve a text message I pull down my notification windows from the lock screen and the text message instantly disappears as if I have swiped it although all I am doing is pulling down the bar.
Hi all,
I'm having issues with an messaging app (Kakaotalk) that pushes pop up notification for messages while my phone is hibernating.
The feature is wonderful, and it comes with a layout that displays the sender, the message, "View" button, and "Close" button.
The issue is that whenever I press the "View" button, it just takes me to the lockscreen when it should open up the app. My assumption is that the app tries to open, but can't go past the lockscreen to open the app.
I tried disabling the lockscreen completely, and it was working correctly. Any help in this? I'm using Nova Launcher Prime.
Thanks!
bumping - any help would be appreciated.
