Eventually your providers uses different frequencies that exynos chips cannot support (and Note 4 has snapdragon, right?).

Hi! Trying to type code *#*#4636#*#*, but result is nothing. Is there alternative decision? (Maybe another code). There're some programs, which give an opportunity to access this menu, but I don't want to use them.

flash the rom in my sig (D2tmo) and your problem will be solved
your rom doesnt have network mode enabled, if you don't like mine try another. chances are your on some at&t port right now which doesnt allow network selection, if its lte your stuck on lte. unlike tmobile and canadian base roms
refer to this screenshot from my rom as what you need is already enabled in the firmware itself

Don't want to use "handmade" roms, only original! Any more solutions? I have stock firmware, and I just want to set "WCDMA Preferred" mode. It possible, if you will use code *#*#4636#*#*. In mobile networks I have only this:
1. lte/wcdma/gsm (auto)
2. wcdma only
3. gsm only
Download phone info from the play store, its the only way I've been able to open those settings with touchwiz jellybean

I have an I9195 with stock XXUAMG8 on AT&T carrier. My phone will not connect to LTE, only H+. I had the AT&T store reset my APN for the LTE network, but still no connection.
Has anyone else had any issues connecting to AT&T LTE?

I don't have this phone... but was looking at getting it.
AT&T uses bands 700 & 1700 for LTE
according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Americas
The I9195 doesn't support those bands according to this:
http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/mobile-devices/smartphones/android/GT-I9195ZKABTU-spec
which sucks cuz i kinda wanted the phone
Here are the specs from my box.
Compare them with the AT&T Galaxy S4 specs. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SGH-I337ZRAATT-specs
And that still does not answer the question. Because 700mhz and 1700mhz are not Band 7 and 17. So doubtful that LTE will work in US, but it is still a great device in an S2 sized package.
As far as I can tell, this is the Band/Mhz translation.
Band = Mhz
1 = 2100
3 = 1800
5 = 850
7 = 2600
8 = 900
20 = 800
For AT&T you will need ....4 = 1700....17 = 700
Hey OP, thanks for answering your own question :good:

I have HTC One M8 international version. Currently I'm in Poland and tried Play and Orange sim cards but phone is not connecting to LTE.
I've tried to lock radio to "LTE only" mode and as you can see on screenshot it sees the LTE cells but is not connecting to them.

I've tried different ROMs and Radio firmware. Also I've checked which bands enabled in my phone using QXPD and they are: Band 3 (1800Mhz), Band 7 (2600Mhz), Band 8 (900Mhz) and Band 20 (800Mhz).
So in Poland "Play" and "Orange" (shared LTE with T-Mobile) have their LTE based on 1800Mhz (Band 3), so it should be working on my phone.
Maybe someone had the same problem and can help me.
maybe the sim card isnĀ“t prepaired for lte?
I have two sim cards from vodafone germany and only one card has lte, the other one (for Tablet ect.) with the same contract (multi sim) has only gsm.
Well, I've inserted sim card from the other phone which is connecting to LTE, so it's not an option.
Finally I've found a SIM (Play operator) which is working with my phone. Also I've flashed latest Maximus HD ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2695706).
So still not clear why Orange is not working, seems also a sim card problem.
But it's still not clear what was the cause of LTE 4G not working: radio firmware or rom. But it's clear that sim card is important.
I have had my sprint LG G5 domestically unlocked officially by sprint. Calls work with a tmobile or att sim so it is definitely unlocked.
I cannot for the life of me get data to work. The only options I have in "network mode" are Automatic, LTE/CDMA, CDMA and GSM/UTMS. I've tried Automatic and I've tried GSM/UTMS. I have LTE roaming enabled. All LTE bands including bands 2, 4 and 12 enabled. All verified in ##DATA# I've tried switching band priority to 2, 4 and 12 but that didn't help.
LTE discovery picked up LTE band 12 for a split second once but usually it just connects to UTMS and no data on UTMS. This is in an area with great coverage. It says it isn't roaming so maybe that is an issue since the lte bands on the G5 seem to be categorized as roaming lte bands. But not sure why I wouldn't get UTMS data.
APNs are correct.
Anyone any ideas?? Is this phone just crippled for use in the USA?? Do I have to resort to the software hack method to unlock it with hiddencallmenu?

Like I said I had it officially unlocked.
I did figure out that I needed to set the APN to default and authentification to none. Works now. Thank you.
Are you still using this device?
If you are, I am curious how things are working. Are all of the voice and data features working properly? I may switch to T-Mobile from Sprint later this month. Thank you.
I recently switched over from using my Galaxy Note10 which was a AT&T device to my unlocked S20 Ultra 5G. When I made the switch I also changed my plan from the Business Unlimited Starter plan I had been on since last year to the Business Unlimited Performance plan which now gives me 5G/5G+ access. I am in a AT&T 5G area & I can not pick up a 5G signal at all. My city is pretty much covered in 5G and their is a 5G tower not far from me. I've tried resetting my network settings with no luck at all. What issues could I be experiencing that I am only picking up LTE+ & not 5G?
Try this...
First call AT&T and make sure you give them the IMEI and ICCID...then get the Net Monitor App and go to the top right hand 3-dots click dots and click SETTINGS...Then ANDROID RADIO Menu....click okay when warning comes up....scroll way way way down to Set Preferred Network Type and just make sure your are on Unknown per the screen shots below...always remember what is chosen if it is not Unknown in case you need to go back. Please do let us know if this worked? Also, DO NOT change anything else in this app as it could mess with your connection

Just wanted to give a update on my AT&T 5G situation with my S20 Utlra 5G (SM-G988U1). After calling business customer support I had my IMEI# changed from what they had on file for me which was my Galaxy Note10 to my S20 Ultra 5G. This now allows me access to 5G on AT&T. If anyone else has this concern just contact AT&T customer service and make sure your account has your 5G device's IMEI# linked to it.
