stable ro for xperia arc s?

Hi, iam a new user
i do a lot of searching to install my first rom to my arc s
i want a lite, fast and stable with no bugs rom on jelly bean
i tried to find one but the posts i search in the site are a bit confusing
the latest update of a rom is the one on the 1st page, or shall i navigate the posts to check if there is an update of the rom?

There is nothing called best rom / bug free! Even stock roms have bugs! Developers work hard to give their best, so respect their work. And concerning your issue ,Flash the rom which attracts you

TWRP Chinese / Akku
Hey there!
I´ve Installed this ROM and i love it very much. It work´much better than the Original ROM. No Prob´s, everything works fine.
The once problem I´had is the "high drain" Akku Problem, and i fixed it with "comercials in apps personilizing" switch off.

The once i wish for me is to put an TWRP in english language in the Kernel. I´ve much problems to use TWRP in chinese language, cause i´m Europe

Problem Installing
Hey everybody
I'm having installing Mokee Rom on my xperia acro s.
My guide to install was this post in below link:

I downloaded CWM v5.5.0.4 elf file and flashed it to my xperia acro s. but from videos I watched over the net I know that at least CWM v6.0.4.3 should be installed and I don't know how to get it. Anyway I did a clean installation. But after choosing the zip file the installation process takes just a couple of seconds and at the end "successful" message appears. But I know it should take more time cause when I want to install xperia acro s stock Rom with flash tool it takes at least 5 min.
anyway after "successful" message I rebooted the phone to go to system but phone freezes at "Sony" logo and wont go further. Also I managed to go to recovery mode after installation but this time it's TWRP and it's chines and I don't understand it.
I'm having this problem with Carbon and cyanogen Roms. It's 3 night in a row I want to install kitkat to my arco s but till now no luck.
Can anyone please tell me what am I doing wrong??
Or can any one give a detailed instruction with links to download right CWM.
I'm getting tired of installing stock Rom over and over again.

Battery drains so fast
I went to sleep seeing 67% battery.Woke up and saw 36% battery. Please help me out:good:

Screen sometimes flashes and doesn't display anything till I bring up the power menu by holding the power button, am I the only one?

How to root this rom?

It should be already rooted

Does this rom contain a recovery?
I tried to install this CM11 rom and was unable to enter or find a recovery after the fastboot flash of the boot.img file.
So, I flashed the boot.img file from this other rom instead. It gave me TWRP so, using that I installed this CM11 rom finally. Of course, I now have no recovery once again.
When I say I have no recovery, I mean something like @AcSilver describes here.
Questions:
- Have you installed this rom?
- Did you flash boot.img first as is usual?
- Were you able to reboot into recovery afterwards?
- Do you have a recovery after fully installing the rom?
- If you have a recovery, how do you enter recovery from boot?

Your Xperia Acro S (XAS) MUST have an unlocked bootloader (or a bootloader that can be unlocked) to be able to flash a custom rom like CM11.
If your device meets the requirement, you should follow the relevant sections of the install guide for CM11 on the XAS.

Probably Jelly Bean.
If you want KitKat, use the rom I linked to in this post.
As I mentioned in my post, it does not have a recovery so it is perhaps not a suitable choice for a beginner. If you can wait a couple of weeks, the developer has suggested a new build might be on the way. That will hopefully have a working recovery integrated.

There are a few KitKat 4.4.x roms for the Acro S in the Acro S Development forum. I have no first-hand experience with most of them and cannot make recommendations.
If you are experienced, you can go to that forum, read a lot and maybe try one or a few KitKat roms until you find one that you like.
If not, wait for the next release of the rom I linked to. It just needs a recovery. I used it daily with no issues at all.

hangout bluetooth mic
For me, on Note 2 with cyanogenmod version 11-20141008-SNAPSHOT-M11-I900, there are two issues:
1) the phone mic works in hangout but has echoes (at least when calling or called by a number). I switched to the google voice app for making calls and that doesn't have any echoes.
2) the bluetooth mic doesn't work at all in hangout. The other party cannot hear it from the bluetooth set. This is not a problem when using the google voice app to call, however.

I don't think it is possible to convert this ROM to ftf as this is a custom ROM. Why do You need to flash it via flashtool? It can be flashed directly by recovery.

@fazlehaq: The M12-equivalent release of the CM11 rom is out. It is said to have a recovery so, no more issues there.

Latest build lags, build from September is smooth
Launcher in latest build lags more, and pull-down is also more laggy. In build from September things are more smooth in general.
Just reverted to previous build.

I want to install this rom [WORLD][STABLE][Totally Bug Free][Z1/KitKat][Based .96]LeOpArDx RoM V5.0[Very Smooth--Very Fast] For xperia S but dont know how. My phone is rooted, android 4.1.2 Model LT26i, Kernel 3.4.0+1.0.21100-g1ccebb5-00193-gcbc50fc, Build number 6.2.B.1.96. Please do help me!

Bootloop
After flashing rom, it gets stuck on sony logo,..
System is unmounted and i have checked with and without formatting system.
further, after installing, there is no OS installed.

When i Root using DoomLord method, i dont get all the script thicks that he says i will like: busybox etc, all i get is kinguser!

Flash official Sony's 4.1.2 6.2.B.1.96 with flashtool.
Root using DoomLord method.
Install a recovery.
Reboot in recovery, Wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache.
Flash the rom.
Flash 6.2.B.1.96 kernel only with flashtool

You can just flash it without wiping anything in cwm recovery. But, I would suggest not flashing the update 5.0 because it is buggy. Gallery will disappear and walkman is also buggy. You will have to replace it with the older versions using root browser. Better stay on 4.9. That works okay.

is it correct, that i don't need a new kernal for this? or is it a must have from 2.3.4 to 4.0.4?

As long as you go from GB to other versions of Android you need to change your kernel.
