Anyone know what this Live View is? It's in lockscreen wallpapers under settings. When I select it, it says "App not installed". I don't know what app it is, if I did, I'd install it. Now, my curiosity is getting the best of me!
I have that as my wallpaper. I downloaded it from the Android Central App.
Sent from my Note 4
That one is called "Live Weather" on my phone.
I was also getting the "app not installed" error. After clearing cache and user data from recovery it suddenly worked. It will download and apply location specific wallpapers and apply them to lockscreen. It will also apply weather related information / graphic.

I cleared cache, but won't clearing user data also wipe the phone? You did it from recovery mode, correct?
Yes, clearing user data is in effect wiping. I have kept my daily driver S5 while I play with the Note4 (to find these very things before fully committing) so it was not an issue for me.

Hi all,
I somehow managed to get my Market List app to get messed up.
It now does not display any apps!
I've tried a few suggestions from here and other sites. but none work.
This is my last resort before doing a full factory reset.
One thing that seemed to work from the suggestions was to clear out the Framework cache. I did that and the apps were listed then but as soon as I downloaded anything from the Market, I would end up with the same problem, all of the apps would go missing.
One thing I discovered with this issue, is that most people don't really understand the issue. So I posted a screen shot of what it looks like and then some users understood and said 'wow, never seen that before' and suggested I post the question here with the screen shot to make it clear what the problem is.
So here is the screen shot!

Did you change your dpi? Has the market ever worked?
Also you might want to wipe and sign back into google, and yea clear market data and cache, flash another ROM.
Edit: just saw this too

So my google account shows a sync error, everything seems to sync fine but it shows an error, i have removed the account and then set it up again, removed it from my google account from google dashboard, if i install the Rom InsertCoin the sync error goes away. If anyone has a fix for this it would much appreciated. I'm running ViperOne 1.3.1 Verizon Variant

Have you tried clearing data and cache for google services in applications then reboot?

Just tried it and still have the same error
Ugh I had this error always on my OneX . Never figured it out or got it to go away.
Just installed Viper ROM and am experiencing this issue. Anyone found any solutions to this? I remember on the old GS3 days, it seemed like anytime you flashed a rom, it would do the same thing. Was hoping by now, someone would have some insight on this.
Have you frozen or deleted any Google apps?

I was having this same issue but removing and re-adding my account fixed it.
Greetings,
For the past few days, I've flashed aokp mm for my duos and having no major problem on it but starting today, i'm unable to access the developer option on setting (see screenshot below) and also, long pressing home button won't take me to recent app. Its kind a weird since I haven't change or making any new settings for my duos. I bet its not a custom rom related issues since some users that i've googled that facing the same eror are coming from other roms as well and all of them were on android 6.x. Any other workaround to fix this?

Couple of q's:
1. Official ROM? Or Unofficial?
2. Did you try Dalvik, and Wiping Wiping Settings Data? (Warning: Wiping settings data will reset)

Yes, I tried both of the method that you suggested but has no luck on it. I also tried changing users but the result is still the same. :/
Hey, I when I check for updates I get this error

I tried clearing app data for 'Updater' and 'Download Manager' apps and nothing changed.
I tried to check for updates from safe mode and I still got the error.
I factory resetted the device *twice* and the error still appears!
I never flashed anything on it or changed 'cid or mid' or whatever that is.
what is happening?

If it is completly stock i would do what the message says and ring htc support.
If not stock read through this thread.

I had this error too. Easily fixed by following the following thread:

Make sure the mount system as readonly is selected - I missed this and i still couldn't receive OTAs.
I'm using LineageOS on my OnePlus 3T for about a month now and everything was fine until some days ago. I installed LineageOS alongside GApps pico back then.
If I try to view apps in the Playstore, the Playstore crashes. It crashes even if I remove its data and cache. The only way I can use it is to disable and enable it. Then I can view apps without any problem until I install one. After installing an app I can view apps until I hit the install button. Then it's back to its old behaviour and I have to disable and enable it again.
Outlook just crashes when I'm opening it and only uninstalling and reinstalling solves the problem. But after some time it keeps crashing.
I installed yesterday's update to see whether it fixes my problem but it doesn't.
I'm not sure what Finsky is but I think it has something to do with the Playstore and I found those errors in Catlog. I don't know its meaning though. Could somebody help me troubleshoot this issue?

Google Calendar and TianiumBackup now also crash when opening. I will have to restore a backup of OxygenOS but I don't really want to go back to it
