How to reinstall android OS?

Please help me to install system on my arc, i can not connect my phone with my PC because Phone soft is damaged and is not working i can just switch on and off and only screen lock is working, can you help me please how can i reinstall android OS om my Xperia arc?

can you connect it into fastboot?
Thats cell phone turned off > hold 'back' > while holding, connect USB cable
download flashtool, and run it, it will tell you wheter the phone is connected or not.

Do you use flashtool?I think it will know your phone and you can flash a ftf file easylie

Why do you need fastboot?
It is called flashmode, what you are posting about.
Turn off the phone, hold down Back button and connect USB cable.

great ..what version is that?I hope it was last version..
Do you know that phones drivers installed on your phone?
Run it
turn phone off
hold back button on your phone
while holding it connect phone to pc ..
Flashtool must says that device connected
Its great..now you must download last ftf rom and just drag and drop it to your phone and press flash botton and it will flash rom..

Yes, FLASHMODE. Sorry, it was an honest mistake. Both start on F and are roughly the same length.

[Q] [Help] Device stucks at flash mode

I used flashtool to do some flash
and after the process finished(I have checked there are words:finish and unplug your device)
I unplugged my XperiaS but now my phone is in flash mode and I cant change it
I tried power+vol up and hold it over ten seconds
but it still stucks at flash mode
what can i do?
I am so worried......:crying:

how to hard reset?
i thought power+vol up is already the hard reste......
and how to flash it again?
i tried another ftf files but all of them are aborted.........
i flashed the original ftf file, and nothing changed....

Connect the phone to wall charger and check if the led light changed.
If it does then its good news!
Reflash using stock ftf in flashmode
Try and flash the phone again in flashmode.
Using flashtool.
Reply back if any progress happens

does the green color indicates anything?
and where can i find the stock ftf?

search, if u have light there is a way to ecover, u have SOFT BRICK

so i wanna ask:
what should i search? you mean the stock rom?
and soft brick means there's a way to solve?
and how to solve.....i really dont have any ideas......

The Green Light Indicates Your Phone is Still Responsive.
So you can try a couple of things here
Dont Worry You Can Get Back Your Phone.
Possible Problem :
1.) Kernel Freeze : If this is the problem You have to wait till your battery drains out.
2.) Flashing Error due to currupt file.
First of all you can try and return to stock kernel and ROM

If you have a locked bootloader. You can try to connect your phone to sony pc companion that will help too
Similarly EMMA--> Sony Flashtool can help for Unlocked bootloaders.

You can't, that's the definition of a brick. Unless of course you haven't bricked it, in that case you're going to have to give us some more info.

I have the last USB drivers, its blinking only when trying to power on. Light is red when I connect to computer.

Just spitballing here but I'm thinking you could start by telling us what you did? Sorry if I'm being unreasonable here...

Fastboot mode don't work. I see red charging light when it connected to PC, but it dont blinking

I'have tried to root , i was unable to mount install some files. I reboot my phone only show sony logo. I reflashed it D5503**FR firmware

I have a LG G3 D855 european 16Gb
Today i received a upgrade firmware notification.
I run the upgrade and now my phone wont boot.
Black screen a notification light red and blue
Already take off the battery (after 15 minutes) and still the same
What can i do ?
I need so badly the phone

have you tried to enter to download mode??
With the phone powered off, hold volume UP and keep holding while you connect usb . Then it will boot to download mode
now open PC suite and press on Phone menu, select Recover from upgrade errors.
It should download and restore your phone.
If it doesn't work then you need to manually download your firmware from this site (you need to put your imei after "esn=" before Going into the webpage), it is an official LG site for info about your personal phone there you will find an url with the KDZ file specific for your phone .

and follow the steps on this post to flash your stock rom

Hard brick z1 compact!

Today I was doing 3 things in the same time, and unfortunatelly i flashed s2 kernel on z1c and.. u know.. no fastboot, no charging, no led, no flashmode, only 3 vibrations when i press Power with VOL+. Is there any way to repair it? I don't want pay for this in w-support, and don't want repair with test point. Another way? Definitely worth a try. There's a 'repair phone' option that might work, but I don't think with unlocked bl...

Did you go all the way through the repair process? It's there specifically for phones that are not detected, so it ststill might work even if it's not detected initially.

Xperia companion still waiting for device, which is connected.

i sent my hard bricked phone to w-support in Poland, and they replaced motherboard and front panel and back cover, and I can tell that i've new phone and here is cm13 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24499762636006153
