Xolo Q1000 Rooting and Flushing CWM Method.

Xolo Q1000 Stock Nanodroid Backup, Rooting and Flushing CWM Method. (Tested on my own Phone)with Xolo Q1000 Stock Nandroid Backup
Read everything or risk a brick standard disclaimer. Your warranty is now void. Use at your own risk. In other words, it is your choice to use this method; I am not responsible for any damage or problems. (Well this method will definitely work). Don’t do it if you don’t know what is rooting and CWM.
1. Go to Settings > About Phone.
2. Next, scroll all the way down and tap on About Phone, and you will notice a segment detailing your device’s build number (XOLO
_Q1000_S105_130411).
3. Repeatedly tap on Build Number (seven taps should do the trick) until you’re met with a message that reads: “you are now a developer!”
4. Developer Options will now be available in within the Settings app.
5. Go to settings > developer options > enable USB debugging.
6. Download AND Install MTK Drivers h t t p : / / w w w . m e d I a f I r e . c o m /download/nv96xclhjmaiclu/Mobistel_Cynus_T1_Drivers_x86.exeDownload Here)
7. Reboot your PC.
8. Download and extract the MTK6589 Auto Root folder from the .rar download. H t t p : / / w w w . s e n d s p a c e . c o m /file/v9np38 Download Here)
9. Connect your phone to PC visa USB.
10. Run run.bat from the extracted MTK6589 Auto Root folder.
11. Press any key and wait while it roots your phone
12. After finished, now reboot
13. Now you’re rooted. Verify root with a ‘Root Checker’ app from Play, or run any app you know requires root and you should see a root permissions request.
14. Reboot your phone.
15. Now download Recovery Image and put it in to sd card. H t t p s : / / w w w . b o x . c o m/s/ymebwi7p7s6aegy0cunx Download Here)
16. Download Mobile uncle from play store.
17. Open Mobile uncle and Grand root access to it.
18. There is an option to flush recovery. Select it.
19. It will search the recovery image that is in sd card. Also if you are online then it will show more recovery from internet. I never tried that but they should also work but probably in Chinese language.
20. Select recovery it will ask for permission. Hit ok.
21. It will reboot your phone. Now CWM has been flushed.
22. Now you can do any CWM operations including flushing Touch wiz launcher and xperia keyboard as I already did.

How do i flash the nandroid backup which i took from the internet
I might sound like a total noob.. that is because iam still in 9th grade..
guys.. could anyone help me to get to the stock rom of xolo q1000
i installed the nandroid backup that was given above..but when i go into recovery, and flash the nanadroid zip the instalation is aborted all the fricking time..:crying:
please help me..iam in need of help..
P.S iam new to xda..

Actually you have to unzip the nandroid backup given by me. Then place it in your SD card. Don't change the structure of directory. then go to CWM recovery. then backup and restore then restore the backup. Done. If any problem then pleas PM me or call me (Zero Nine Four Two Five Four Five One One Eight Six Or Zero Seven Three Eight Nine Nine Two Six Zero One Eight) any time dude. We will learn many things new also.

Thanks man.. hey.. could you please help me find a good rom for my phone? i didnt like the miui or the lewa os.. is there any other rom like cm or anything good enough..P.S also could u help me get the z1 walkman app on my phone..that would be great man..Thanks in advance!!:laugh:

DUDE... I UNZIPPED THE NANDROID BACKUP AND PLACED IT ON MY SD card..but when i go in to restore it says no files found ...what do i do now..iam stuck between roms..:crying::crying::crying:

A small problem is that its taking much time to recharge.Why that happening?
Have anyone noticed in our battery it is written as Li-Polymer. but actuallly it is Li-ion.How that happened??

OK i dont know if you will understand this but I will just try to explain a little
For making roms like CM, Pac , PA and stuff, You need kernel source code of that device
Without that it is impossible to build CM ( Even the Kitkat CM 11 )
Xolo never gives out kernel source code nor does Mediatek (MTK)
q1000 is Mt6589, so you can try to port from other devices too but building such good roms from scratch without bugs ?? It is impossible
So cheers and wait until someone does that himself
And yeah being in 9th doesnt make you a n00b

Typo check : It is cwm flashing and touchwiz flashing... Not FLUSHING

cant enter into recovery mode shows option for

but cant select either of them plz urgent help required

FIX [Desire 820s] invalid imei; Blank IMEI; WiFi NVRAM Warning

Invalid imei fix
NOTE this only works if your IMEI shows INVALID. If the IMEI is blank then follow the second post.
Switching between Lollipop and Kitkat firmwares in Desire 820s can sometimes result in invalid imei in system or when dialing *#06#
The best solution is to reflash your original firmare. However if you wish to stick to your current firmware then you can easily fix it with the following method:
This only works for invalid imei in system or in dialer and not in bootloader
What you need
Rooted Desire 820s
Download Root explorer from this link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer&hl=en
Now use root explorer and navigate to the root of your phone. You will get a folder named "data". Open in and inside it you will get a folder named "nvram". Rename "nvram" to "nvram_old" and then reboot your phone.
Your imeis should now be back
If you still have network problems
Open dialer
Dial *#*#4636#*#*
Select Phone information
Set preferred network type: choose GSM only. (It might change back to Unknown but keep on choosing GSM only until network appears, then you can choose another option)

Blank IMEI Fix
If your IMEI is blank when you type *#06# in dialer because you accidentally formatted the phone with SP Flash Tool then follow this:
(Only works on Kitkat firmware. So if you're on Lollipop you'll have to flash KitKat first)
1. First Install Gadget CDC VCOM drivers on your PC using this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nCfN3bdayQ

10. Then click on AP_DB and navigate again to the NVRAM DB 820s folder and choose the file named ==> APDB_MT6752_S01_KK2.MP13_
11. Click Save
12. Click Start
13. Insert the original IMEI 1 and IMEI 2 of your phone as shown on the box you bought your phone with and Click OK (If Serial Number is also affected type it here)
14. Switch off your Phone and connect it to the PC with a USB cable
15. Wait until it says PASS then reboot the phone

What you need to perform the methods..??
1. A Rooted MTK device
2. Root Explorer.apk
3. Wifi Error Fix.rar
How to do this?
On Your Rooted device go to root Explorer
And navigate to File system root/
data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB
There you will find two files named 1) WIFI , 2) WIFI_CUSTOM just simply delete these files
Now extract the files from the WiFi fix.rar
and move the extracted files to the previous (root/
data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB) folder.

Hi.
i tried many times but your bootloader unlocking method not work with mediatek devices. at least with mine .
when i reboot to bootloader, fastboot don't reconize any devices. When i reboot in download mode, fastboot work; but the code that it release isn't processable by htcdev website.

it's simple for nvram fix just follow
From the top but for the imei got to mtk tools
Use mobileuncle app or mtksettings open engineering
Go to cds information then radio informtion then
Select you sim then type AT +EGMR=1,7," put your imei"
Remember put your phones imei from the box..cheers

I also flashed my phone with sp flash tool. and mistaken ly chose delete all plus download mode. So I have ann empty imei. I have box and real Imei. and my phone is rooted also. but mtk engineering mode apk not working to change imei. Is there any way to change Imei via phone or without flashing a kitkat rom? my current rom is 5.0.1 please help me ?????

Try Chamelephon apk to edit the IMEI

guys i changed my IMEIs easily after searching for 5 hours ... .. use king root to root your phone .. download it from google play or from the web in .apk format and transfer it to your mobile then install and bypass the security warning .
then download this app from google store : chamelephon .. it will allow you to change your IMEIs and then your sims will work again ISA

Unbricking G3 D-858HK.

My G3 D858HK got bricked after trying autorec lollipop ( I was running MM stock + King root ).
After spending quite a few hours and reading through various ,sites, forums, and POST's , I could finally unbrick my phone.
I am just writing down steps I have followed .
Disclaimer: Use these steps on your OWN risk. I don't hold any responsibility. All the SW tools / roms / files referred in this thread is developed by great developers in XDA, please Thank them / donate them in respective threads.
Please visit and Thanks author of this thread . I deduced complete steps from that great guide ( Only difference: I haven't opened my Phone ).
1. remove and reconnect battery.
2. While holding Vol UP button I have insertUSB cable
3. Open device manager and noted new device under COM ports

Note: Initially it was showing as RELINK QS driver ( even if it is QS_BULK device , please follow this instruction ) . With this driver I was hitting error "device not found in dload trying flash programmer" in board diag tool
Following steps required to change it qualcomm driver.
type "change device installation settings" in windows search .
Change to " Never install driver from windows update".
Now uninstall RELINK driver by right clicking it from device manager ( Check box to delete driver )
Now install Qualcomm driver from following link http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...5&d=1433975241
remember to enable test mode using following commands ( as Admin ). if you already have it
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
reboot server

4. Now repeat steps 1-3 and made sure Qualcom device is listed under COM ports ( Note: if red and blue LED glowing you may not see , com device , repeat step 1-3)
5. Note down com port from device manager.
6. Now open Board Diag tool and select the proper chipset (B2 ) . use the com PORT number noted in step 5 , in board diag tool
7. Use KK TOT file ( Magnetic Link ) and extract it to a location using board diag tool
8. Use the same directory in board diag target directory field
9. Select recovery image to flash in following order ( aboot , backupgpt-boot-dbi-laf-primarygpt-recovery-rpm-tz-sbl1 )
Note: Keep the device manager open , after each component flash , phone may get reset and we may loose com port, repeat step 1 to 3 to get the com device back.
10 After flashing sbl1 phone may to recovery - now repeat step 1 and 2 you will see download mode
11. Now use MM KDZ file and follow steps from this guide to install MM stock rom

[IMEI] [FIX] [Noob] [Friendly]

Overview ​
Now, I have seen many people facing problems like lost IMEI or NVRAM warning in their wifi list! Well, these are normal errors when you often flash a custom and wiped system or update using SP Flash Tools. So fix isn't that hard! But still, many people suffer from this! Now, this guide is applicable for every device(MTK) but BPLGU modem file will vary from device to device. I have specially made this guide for Lenovo Vibe K4 Note users!:laugh:
WARNING !!! IMEI CHANGING IS ILLEGAL. THIS GUIDE ONLY HELPS YOU HOW TO RESTORE ORIGINAL IMEI OF YOUR DEVICE! I DONT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY OF ANY ILLEGAL ACTION TAKEN AGAIN YOU! Download Section !​
1. Scatter files !
2. MauiMETA
3. Temoprary IMEI fix.zip​
Now before we start doing anything make sure you download everything from the download section. Also, make sure your device is having TWRP installed.
Process !​
Now most of you must have thought hey Max where is NVRAM fix? There was nothing about NVRAM in title Well chill down I will target NVRAM NOW !! So let us begin! Now as you have downloaded entire scatter files so NVRAM needs entire scatter files. "Woosh! Thank god it was useful somehow" most of you must have thought Hehehe Well one more thing if you are using permanent NVRAM fix then use it before you flash IMEI or else you lose it again if you fix NVRAM after IMEI. However, a temporary fix can be flashed later on.
* Now navigate to the firmware folder
* Look for scatter file open it in notepad or notepad ++
* There look for this line, "partition_name: NVRAM"
* There you will also notice, "s_download: false"
* Just change it to, "s_download: true"
* Save and exit!
* Open Sp flash tools and load scatter file(Remember a thing, you will have to use an older version of SP Flash Tools)
* You will see checkbox of NVRAM just choose it and keep rest options unchecked!
* Flash into your device and all set!
NVRAM IS FIXED PERMANENTLY :good:
But now for those who are lazy doing this, there is a temporary zip file which you can flash and NVRAM problem will be fixed for a limited time to do so just go to download section and download temporary fix zip file and flash it into TWRP (Yes, that's why we needed TWRP):angel:
Now before we start doing anything make sure you download everything from the download section. Also, make sure your device is having TWRP installed. (YES AGAIN MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING)
• After that, run Maui META 3G
• Use USB COM
• From Options menu, select “Connect smartphone in meta mode”.
• Press Reconnect and connect the phone in the switched off state.
• Wait for a minute. Your Device automatically boots into meta mode. The blinking led will become yellow and you can see "connected with target"
• Now from the drop-down menu select “IMEI download”. Click ok till you see IMEI download box.
• Click Change NVRAM Database FIle and browse to “MT6753 DB” folder and select the following file.
File\MT6753\
BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6753_S00_K5_ROW_LWG_V56_ 1_lwg_n (BPLGU modem file for mt6753, do a double check as the name might change with firmware versions).
[Well I have not extracted this file yet from stock ROM scatter files. However, I have given you the download link of entire stock ROM look the file there itself !]
• Click ok on any warning.
• Leave IMEI Increasemnt 0.
• Write first 14 digits of your IMEI in IMEI box and last 15th digits will go in checksum(should be entered automatically). Eg:- if IMEI is 123456789123456, write 12345678912345 in IMEI and 6 in the checksum. Do same for Sim_2
[Now most of you must be wondering where is my IMEI. I don't remember it and also it's not there in the list. Don't worry pull your back cover and you will see IMEI sticker there just type the same IMEI]
• Press Download To Flash. You will see Download IMEI flash successfully. Now close the box (or alt+f4 or close from task manager if stuck).
• Restart the phone
• Open Dialer and type *#06# and you will get your valid IMEI number.
* Well if you saw the same IMEI then you are done !!! :good:

TWRP one! I have added ADB Drivers there follow the same process also there is a manual how to install drivers same is applicable for these drivers!

yes bro, after modifying scatter file, flash tool wont allow to load it. im hoping this will fix my wifi issue.

Actually, I have tested this thing on my own device... No idea what's wrong with you. You can also try notepad c++

Try older version of SPFT.

I've downloaded your drivers and tried many other drivers,None worked,Please help me.With the drivers i have im able to Flash stock through SP,Device gets detected too,But i dont know y its not working for this tool or SN writer..This is the error im getting..Communication through either RS232 or IPC error,Please reconnect..

Messed With IMEI while Enjoying flashing?

IMEI number is a personal identifier and if gets corrupted you can loose working of SIM in those phone.
Why would it happen?
1. Probably you went High and cause your modem to get corrupted?
2. Or the Old way deleted/removed/ate away NV_RAM file of EFS partition
I CAN'T EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH BUT ALWAYS KEEP BACKUP OF YOUR EFS PARTITION​What should I do in case my mobile gets no sim card status?
+>Try changing ROM in case there is no IMEI in the About Phone section.
If problem persist
+> Install your modem again
Get NON-HLOS.bin file its located in firmware released by ASUS on our device, Unzip the firmware and then goto folder 'firmware' in that you can find NON-HLOS.bin​

no? WHAAAAAT? Congratulations messed up with IMEI
Let's fix it.
You need
1. Proper functioning and working brain
2. Your IMEI number for both SIM
3. A windows computer(I searched a lot for Linux alternative but its not available that's sad)
4. Download qcn file which will be prototype ( Get it from another post in this segment by @Vimal Vinz)
5. Download and install QPST from https://www.qpstflash.com/downloads/QPST_2.7.460.zip
unzip password => qpstflash.com
6. A hexadecimal editor tool ( in Linux use Ghex if you use GNOME , for Windows go for HexWorkshop )
7. Qualcomm Driver from here https://androidfilebox.com/tool/qualcomm-qdloader-hs-usb-driver-32-bit-64-bit/
8. Can't Resist to mention but please make sure that you have adb installed
9. Have rooted phone.

Now what you need to do is:
1. goto .......Here.......... enter your IMEI and copy and paste the generated NV_RAM(hex) in some text editor FOR BOTH SIM
2. Open the "qcn" file in the prototype I gave in step 3 above in your favorite HEX editor
I wonder If I should say it again but please don't make mistake here otherwise you are a criminal *remembers Briteny Spears*​ save the file to a location.
3. Change build.prop file in your mobile located in /system
use any editor (try ES explorer maybe?) Find "ro.build.selinux " and set it value to "0"
reboot!!!!!!!

5. Open Device manager and now you can see a Qualcomm Device
if now reinstall the Qualcomm Driver
6. Open QPST
Goto Ports Tab in QPST
If you can't see any port you can add it clicking on add new port located at left corner
After you can see ports goto "Start Client" menu in menu bar and in that select "Software Download"
Select port and qcn file (which you edited before ) and click on start button to start flashing !
And at last reboot your phone and the problem is SOLVED !
