What are your Benchmark scores? - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've been getting different scores with different note 4 devices.
From what I see online if you run an antutu benchmark you should get 47000 or higher.
My first note 4(black) did. My new one(black) gets 44k.
I tested two note 4 edges and they get 44k.
My wife's note 4(white) gets 47k
What is everyone else getting?
-Wizzle

I'm getting 46000+

I feel your pain. I got a crap ass note 4 and I'm waiting for a replacement to get into stock so I can exchange it. Apparently it's common for verizon note 4's.

I'm not too worried about mine, I haven't really had any lag issues and I take the benchmark with a grain of salt. I just ran it again and got 46,300. I think what you get really depends, but hopefully you can exchange yours soon!

I ran mine at least 20 times. When I first got it and I even factory reset it 2 times and I never got better than 44k
I get lag issues a d now my wifi doesn't always connect. I hope they will get a new note 4 in store soon.

I would definitely return it as well if I were you

I think temperature makes a pretty significant difference. I get about 45-46k in room temperature but when i ran it outside in the cold, I got 48k

Los and other issues(first two hours)

Fing boot loop. As we speak...it's fing doing it. I'll post you tube soon.
Also had los issues. After being in for 3 mins(no time issue.) I get a loss, try prl or profile updating...and bam. Was so excited, watched taking, waited. I'm thoroughly bummed.
Thanks Sprint for the $400 brick

It must be your device. I didn't have a single issue as reboot, boot loop etc. Now I've had a few of FCs but with apps that FCed on my other phones too.
LOS was much worse on GSIII for me, I had to turn off and on data to get it back or get 3G instead of 1xRTT quite often. Very little of such LOS issues on my new Note II.
I've had some but updating PRL usually resolved it.
Also it only happened while I was driving (truck driver - all over the country) so I can understand there could be some handoff issues with sprint towers. It never happened yet while I was stationary.
Btw...You paid $400????
I had terrible LOS issues on my GS2, the device was terrible. I haven't seen a single LOS with my Note 2. Every area that I had LOS or data issues with the GS2 is solid on the Note 2. Not a single boot loop, reboot, etc issue at all. Maybe a couple of 3rd party app FCs, but nothing from the stock apps.
Sorry you got a lemon, return it and have it replaced. You are still in the 14 day window.

I kept GSII for exactly 8 hours! The LOS and signal strength were unacceptable. Just plain ridiculous. I couldn't make a call from inside of my house. I could only imagine how it would "perform" if I took it on the road.

PCSX2?

Recently got fpse to work smooth as butter, wondering if anyone tried pcsx2? Ive seen some threads where the note 1 was able to run it semi choppy but havent found much for this phone, anyone try it out yet? Would be awesome to load up ffx and 12 on the go.
Edit: hmm seems like what ive read is bs, but one can always hope I guess. ..

It took almost 10 years to come out with what they consider a stable version for the pc. I don't see it coming to phones any time soon.
Hell, I have to run quite a few plug-ins just to make ffx and ff12 run good on my comp and I have a pretty decent rig.

If the Note 2 is really that awesome as you call it, why jump ship? Heck why worry about the software update at all?
Just saying. It is a great device but i wont ditch it just because an update takes a while.
I have a HTC One, Nexus 4 and Note 2.
When i put 4.3 on my HTC One i made that my primary phone. When the Note 2 gets 4.3 ill make that my primary for a while.
Guess that sounded disgruntled. Sorry bout that, didn't mean to come off that way.
It's just that I've had android since cupcake and the longer I continue with android the more I realize one of my favorite parts is the expedited progression of it. Over the years I've become quite find of the updates. I guess you can say it's become something I look forward to. It's not that I loath this device by any means but my preference is leaning towards the update facet of it. The only logical conclusion to meet my happiness is climbing aboard the nexus train.
Why is the right door always locked?
That makes more sense.. I was like, whoa, this guy thinks the phone is awesome why is he jumping ship. LOL.
I think im in a unique position working in the wireless biz fixing / repairing them and buying and selling them. .
Im looking forward to my Note 2 getting 4.3. Im actually going to make it my daily phone for a week just to test it out again. My Nexus 4 was my daily phone as well till i put 4.3 on my HTC One.. Its a natural progression.
Now i see your whole statement in a different light, less angry and more hey time to try something different..
Nah.. not angry in the least. I think I'm just ready for a change of pace that's all.

I was amazed at this phone on verizon.
-Wizzle
You got me beat. I was amazed at the 24-26 I got in the Cincinnati-day ohio area. Coming from a galaxy s3 I was use to 6-8 on average.
This is the best I've gotten so far. Northwest Minneapolis suburbs.
I don't get higher than 9 down where I am. I'm actually sort of disappointed in this. I was hoping that my area was on XLTE. On regular LTE, the network is so saturated and crappy. I have 50/5 internet through Centurylink, with a Netgear Nighthawk router. My wifi speed tops out at 12 down. I get 26 down on my macbook, and 46 down on a wired connection.
I really was hoping for better results. I mean I know that the LTE situation in my area is a sad joke, but I have some pretty good speeds through CL.
I'm pretty happy
Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
my area used to get horrible speeds of like 1mbps. I complained a lot. I think they finally fixed the towers here, and my g2 started getting like 10 to 15...ny note 4 gets 20 to 30. it's pretty awesome.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using Tapatalk.
You guys still on "global" or did you switch to "LTE/CDMA"? Trying to decide if I should switch. Not really noticing any problems with Global but I haven't really ran much tests. Will do some today and post back.
I got 25mpbs where my g2 couldn't pull 10

switched to LTE/CDMA and noticed no difference.
Did this one just yesterday morning. Super happy.
Took this right after getting the phone.
The was on my Note 3, but the Note 4 would have gotten the exact same thing.

I get those speeds throughout my college campus in So Cal. I've actually stopped using the campus Wi-Fi because of it. Thank god for unlimited data.

Unlocked, trying to get MMS and maybe 4G working on T-Mo.

Got a Sprint S6 yesterday and got it unlocked via eBay. 3G is working great, getting about 10 mbps.
Wondering though if I can get 4G working, just because... Well, why not have it if I can? lol
The other problem I had was that MMS can only be received when I turn wifi off. This isnt a huge deal since i rarely receive them though.
Lastly, has anyone figured out if its possible to bypass Samsung Pay's root detection? I've already rooted and set off the knox so it's too late for me to use a non-trip method

I have an unlocked Sprint S6 and I'm using it on AT&T and I can get LTE, but the reception is bad if I do it that way. But the icon isn't going to say "4G". If you look, it says HSPA+, which is "4G" for T-Mobile and AT&T.
