Probably 2.3.7 because this ROM use Ron's kernel RC5.

Nice rom bro, i tested it yesterday. Can you put an option to disable the boot animation sound? It makes a lot of noise.

install root explorer........tap r/w button......thn go to system/media and now delete android_audio.mp3 file....and reboot
now the sound is removed,,,,,,

PA Colors in AOKP?

Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible to get the paranoid android colors feature where status and nav bar colors change based on the app you are in on AOKP rom. I know I could use a hybrid rom but that is the one feature that I want outside of AOKP. I did some searching but found nothing. Would I be able to install the paranoid preferences apk or does the feature depend on something in the rom?

you cant do this , cause even with PAPref Apk , you need to change framework files which might take away AOKP stuff , your best bet is to use PAC , it uses ParanoidAndroid AOKP and CM , meaning all features of 3 roms is in .

Is there a way I can test what AOKP features would be compromised by editing framework files? Or would it just ruin the whole system framework?

This isn't exactly the same but may be a option to consider.

Remember to Back up you're camera2.apk you have in system/app and then push this to same place then set permissions and reboot.

New icon

I've rewritten the thread and added new colours and icon's. I've joined up the gallery pics "no gap's" and I've changed transition when the pic has been taken "Small mod but looks good IMO" and moved to gallery.

Looks cool , but the link of neon theme isn't working...please fix it...and will simple installation of the app work or do we need to push it ?

Sorry about that must of messed with the link when I changed the thread about. Link updated and checked it works thank you for you're word's. Was thinking of changing the icon on neon to match the others. What do you think?
Also you will need to push and set permission because the signature is different. Don't forget to back up.

Hmm. Maybe that's because you're on 4.4.3.. @andrewwright was the apk from 4.4.2? Because the camera works perfectly on my S2 running 4.4.2 SlimSaber. SlimSaber and Neatrom AOSP are both based on SlimKat. Else, I use dalvik.. I wonder if ART affects things. I doubt it..

Yes , that's what I thought : either 4.4.3 or ART

Not used art as most apk I use won't work with it. @Hopper8 yes this is 4.4.2 camera I've had this working on cm11 4.4.3 but again I didn't test with art. Tbh this should work with art on. Nothing big has been changed. Try wiping cache and dalvik cache reboot and test.
Edit...when I changed first post I deleted that it works on

Cm 4.4.3
I just looked at camera apk from cm 4.4.3 and its the same apk as 4.4.2? art should work OK.

Here are the results:
- Wipe cache and dalvik : still FC
- Switched back to Dalvik and it works !! :good:

This is weird then. @andrewwright I didn't test with art... I use xposed so art is a no-go for me. Maybe try it and logcat what's happening? Else if you need me to, I can test it tomorrow on art if you need? Pm me if needed

No need. I've tried on AOKP and fails. Strange because the apk worked on from the start works. I think this maybe a apktool problem. I'll change op and add its not compatible with art ATM. I'll find the problem and fix hopefully. Thanks for finding this @Tilagoon

I am a fan of Cynogen mod and i have been CM11 4.4.4 on my samsung grand duos.
But however i am unable to change the clock position to center and also not able to change the battery Icon as well
I have tried Gravity box and xblast to change the clock position but didnt work.

You must know that xposed modules like gravity box adds features of cyanogenmod rom to other roms.You cannot use gravity box on cyanogenmod based roms.You can use cosmic cm rom as it has lots of customization.

These two customizations are not possible If u r using CM11 by pawitp. But If u need those customizations desperately try using CosmicCM by k2wl which has dual SIM functionality.

Hi,
I have tried cosmicCM but i have faced an issue with that rom. The apn's do not show up in that and even if i save it manually it is not working on my samsung grand duos...
Though the Rom works seamlessly i am not able to use the gprs

I did not compile this firmware, I ported it to the ACE and LG ,but I do as much as possible similar to that port android Lollipop.

screenshot can be done by simultaneously pressing the volume down and power,or go to the settings menus and check the screenshot

the color or icon and the slide bar and the font its not like your device or like the screenshot in thread and key does not light and where is the icon in the slide bar like lollipop ?
