I thought i was crazy. but i reformatted twice. anybody getting the same notification over and over again . I mean i pick a different sound for a ring tone and notification and its the same sound no matter what i pic. Anybody having this issue. And yes Lock screen updates please.

Lock screen notifications are back on 04/03 nightly and I'm not having any notification issues.maybe that app that is notifying?

Going to give this a try when I get home, I've tried nearly all the 4.4 roms but haven't looked at this one yet. One question, does this have the stock CM kernel?

I'm trying this for the first time and can't find the settings for window animation speed ? Not in dev options like it usually is?

On 4/15 and 4/16 it wouldn't apply themes for me but I had just done a dirty flash

I am on the 4/16 and just went and tried again, themes work just fine for me. Have you tried applying the system theme and rebooting?

I had it on 4/21 but it actually wasn't having data drops, just signal display issues, I did a clean install and it fixed it, do you know where the option to make the system apps black?

Indeed with specs similar to the S4 and M7 its sad that this device is underrated; just got mine recently and love it! Now we just need Paranoid which I'm sure will be worth the wait. :victory:

Sure does. I was spoiled 2 years ago with my note i717 as development was booming .. Them I left for the mega i9205 which had Nada .. Finally cm came around when I left for this device

Dirty Unicorns is a custom ROM built with stability in mind and optional customization. Try putting five fingers on the screen and moving them when it freezes. That's always fixed it for me after another member suggested it

LOVE your Validus rom, cant wait to try this one

I remember a much simpler time when we only had a handful of stock rooted ROMs to choose from... Now I have no idea which one to flash. Maybe I'll stick with Carbon till my Lollipop arrives.

What is it that does? Like an iOS theme or something?
Im on this rom right now. So far lovin it, it scored 39000 on antutu which was surprising . kinda like a cherry on top

Open Gapps, as normal

ROM is very fast, but it don't recognize my SD-Card. Said, it is corrupted. But it's ok, in other ROMs...

@GtrCraft thanks for this wonderful and super slick ROM. Following are the bugs in the latest update (19Apr): no icon for screen off gestures, charging sounds doesn't work, search function in settings is not working. Please look into these bugs. Thanks again.

It's never good with you guys, first the duplicate gesture settings isn't good. And now it's not good because the icon is missing...
About the other things. Post in the G+ community

Search works fine. Screen off gestures work fine (are you crying about an icon? Create a shortcut). Charging sound doesn't work, but really? Not a big issue is it considering a blinding LED let's you know it's charging!

Ha, I used to use Validus on another device, it's nice to come across it again. Great stuff! Snappy and it seems to not heat up as much as some of the other Lux ROMs I've used
Maybe it's just me but none of the Android/Google SMS apps seem to work, and I couldn't restore my SMS log. But 3rd party SMS apps seem to work fine.
Also the Themes chooser in the Settings doesn't seem to work, but I'm guessing it'll be fixed in due course. And I'm happy there's a built-in dark theme. Again, really good stuff for an "alpha" build

I just reported what I have found while testing the ROM, only to help you make it better. @GtrCraft First of all, thank you so much for this ROM, I've only installed for a short amount of time, but it was really good, and I understand the time and effort you put on this. But you don't need to be so rude, @kvskmcafee was very polite, he thanked you for the ROM and provided you only feedback of it. Anyway, thank you so much! I hope this ROM lasts a long time!

Bug-list?? as in you expect there to be bugs so you want to know what isn't working?
We spend a lot of time testing each feature we add.
Yes true we cannot see everything.
For your "bug-list":
1.) Loud audio is distorted as with every lineage nougat build"

Digging the ROM. Only 2 issues I've found. Low headphone audio (seems to happen with anything that touches CyanogenMod) and no audio in browser (chrome, chrome beta, Firefox, flash fox, dolphin) or on some apps (pocket mortys).

Just chiming in... happy so far. Very snappy rom and battery seems good. Haven't tried my headphones.

So, I love this rom. By far my favorite I have put on my m9, and up there on my list of top roms I've ever used. So far has been flawless, snappy and showing great battery life. However, I have been having camera issues. The first week, the camera would have issues opening from time to time, but would eventually kick in within a minute or so. A few days ago the camera gave out altogether. I was using the camera app that came with it, and I figured whatever, it's probably just a glitch. So I downloaded open camera. Same issue. Also the same with Google camera, and with the camera inside the Walmart app. They all just say "serious camera issue" and the screen stays black. I was wondering if I did something wrong or if there were any suggestions. I'll work on getting a log up, I just have been very limited on free time to sit down and mess with it.

I'm just using the stock camera app for pics / videos and having no issues. Perhaps just reflash the rom?
