I am also using F400L. I rushed to update my device to lollipop 20C without having rooted or tweak prior the update. Now I feel regret. I noticed that my device can not run USSD code anymore on top of that I feel annoyed every time when i punch in the number and try to make a call and the phone automatically adds south korea country code.
Can you check the this rom can run USSD code? and can make local call without having to manually add local country code?
By the way is there a way to flash to this rom from my current official 20C?

Thanks bud. I guess I have to find a way to downgrade to Kitkat and start from there.
I just updated my F400K to 20E via LG PC suite. Is there a difference between having my stock rom and rooting it, to flashing this 20C rom? What would the difference be between 20c and 20e, anyway?

Currently using this rom, but since moving to Lollipop, my car bluetooth only works for calls and not for media. Does anyone have a fix?
Cannot root and cannot access storage
Hi,
Since I installed this ROM I have not been able to access the storage on the phone using file transfer apps. Downloads from the browser also do not work
Also trying to root it using purpledrake like failed unlike previously before installing this ROM, where it rooted easily and successfully.
I'm kinda stuck now.. any help please?

I have a US lg-g2 ls980 with CM 11 4.4.4. It is originally a Sprint phone. I have a SIM from Straight Talk that is only compatible with ATT phones. I changed the default network type to GSM/LTE and now my phone recognizes my SIM. Calling works just fine but texting does not work. Does this mean my phone/SIM is already unlocked? What steps do I have to take to fix text messaging? Thanks.
Call Log Not Working Sprint LS980 LG G2

I have brought a Sprint LS980 LG G2, its a unlocked phone basically and all the features are working fine.
But the CALL LOG is not working !!!
I tried .tot ing back to LS980ZVC, LS980ZVD and now on LS980ZVE. But it did not help.
May be there is I should do something regarding the com.android.phone app. But I am not sure.

Any other method that did not involve build.prop edits and sql lite db edits???
Try to put the phone in GSM/UTMS mode at the start and then follow procedure skipping the step of editing the build.prop. Not sure if it will work as the GSM is locked. Please revert back if it works as this information is important to many others.

I tried it directly on ZVE...I edited build prop usong rom tool box and sql lite edit to remove the need to dial 1 before every no. Voila it worked. Thnx.
Also some surprises for me.. chk scteenshot.. some new options. That were not there previously.. specially PC LG suite connection option.

i have tried all the root methods but unable to root my phone... farma root is not working while the rest of methods are giving different adb errors ...i have installed latest lg drivers and how can i check whether i have installed adb drivers or not . do i have to install android sdk. plz i need help

Maybe this question was asked so many time before, I'm sorry about that, but I can't find on how to solve the problem ; recently I managed to install cyanogenmod 12 on a lg optimus G E975 using CWM recovery, everything is working fine except that I cannot have the root exploit, I was trying many different methods but no success ; like flashing the latest SuperSU via recovery ; it's telling that there is no su binary found anywhere. I rooted my phone with towelroot , I installed SuperSU now I cannot install TWRP or CWM
Even Freegee has an eroor saying Exception thrown waiting for command to finish and "your aboot is not supported by loki on software version E98820c. I dont know what to do now? Please help!
Did you install busy box and the latest supersu after towelroot?

Is that stock KitKat? Last I heard, FreeGee only works on stock JB.
It worked fine on stock KK for me before I gave the phone to my father.
I didn't install busybox but I installed SuperSU and updated it normally! I am in stock KitKat version

Install busy box and try free gee again, that is what I did before. After that, I don't know.

I have intalled the E980 universal root for my LG G PRO E986(fw e98610j).
Unfortunatly since these install, my LG stuck in boot loop.
I have done a hard reset with vol- + power.
I tried also download mode with LG mobile support tool repairing errors.
Nothing works.

If you only seeing the logo, you need to flash the firm ware again. Once you get out of the boot loop, try use towel root to root your device.

What do you need help with? If you need to know how, try Google search the towelroot app. That should root your phone easy enough. If that don't work, there is always rootmaster.

I want to use wifi tethering on my phone but it doesnot open. As i have read somewhere after rooting phone you can do it by some process. On xda forum rooting process is written but it's also written that this proccess is not for att&t lg optimus g pro firmware 10p . So please help
What is LGP
Is says to use LGP to flash stock....I can't even begin to tell you how new I am to all of this. I am trying to upgrade to lollipop. I go the OTA message and the phone downloaded the software and then gave me the error message saying this device suspected in rooting. No software update for rooted devices. I did a hard factory reset on the phone and it still does the same thing. The only thing I can think of to do is flash it back to a stock ROM. I have an LG Optimus G Pro E980 model. Can anyone help??? I would really like the lollipop update. Thanks

Towelroot doesn't work? Try root master, if you can't read Chinese, there is a youtube video to help you with the menu because it too is in Chinese. The other one I know of is in English, it's a Linux script not sure if it runs in windows, it's call universal root.

I know i am late but i have tried to root my device (E988) 3 times and it didn't worked. Now i don't know if it is because of kitkat update or i am living in Saudi Arabia and this device is not supported but the device didn't rooted. Ok bro there is no restrictions on country of towel root or any other rooting app u must try kingoroot ,farmaroot,rootmaster in english u can find it easily on cnet website or u know well towellroot. ..or need to know more my whatsaap no is +923413534442

After flashing Canadian D852 Lollipop-Stock-Bumped-Rooted Rom, I am unable to download anything. I don't have the LG downloads app installed. Also, I can't update anything from the LG update center to try to get it. Does anyone else have this problem, or possibly the downloads.apk?

Quick Circle Case App Not Working in Xposed ROM

I tried to install the Xposed version of this ROM twice and everything seems to work perfectly, but the quick circle app is not working (after I download and enable it from the play store). Your initial lollipop ROM has no issues with the quick circle case app and works right off the bat. I'm new to this, so I'm probably doing something simple that is wrong, but I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

The one bad thing is that quick circle does not work alongside xposed as of right now.
Stock ROM for Rogers / Bell wanted
Hi All,
Does anyone have Lollipop Stock Rom for D852 devices? I bought one unlocked D855 from ATT....rooted it and changed build version to D852 and flashed it with KitKat from Rogers stock rom (non-rooted). it works very well like a native D852 device...I use Rogers SIM. The reason I did this because AT&T Rom only came with imperial system and it didn't even offer option of changing from F to C for example.
Now Rogers/Bell releases Lollipop OTA updates, my device didn't receive update from either carrier. Can someone post a download link for D852 Lollipop stock rom from Rogers/Bell? I can't use rooted rom in this post b/c GOOD for Enterprise didn't like rooted rom.

Could very well be that I had set the dpi to 560 instead of the default 640.

Thank you for your quick reply, but unfortunately, when I used the Texdroider DPI app you suggested earlier to change the dpi to 640 it did not resolve the issue as I still can't get the circle app to work, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the quick circle app and rebooted, but to no avail.
I thought for sure this would fix my issue as it made sense to me, but no luck. Thanks for the amazing ROM anyway.
On a side note: is there a way for you to debloat your original Lollipop ROM so it is just like the one running Xposed?

Good point, The reason why my Xposed version is the way it is, that was the way I used it. dont have a flip cover case so took that out. I used third party apps for clock. messenger etc. I can have a bloated Xposed for sure when I get the chance. With that said. I believe one of your issues was the app didnt play nice with Xposed framework. keeps forceclosing.

Here are the steps to upgrade stock KitKat to stock Lollipop on Bell/Rogers D852 devices. It doesn't wipe the data and will do in-place upgrade (like OTA update).
1) download Bell's D85220C.KDZ ROM from here. using the link from the previous post.
2) follow instructions in this page, download LG Flash Tool 2014, then refer to the screen shots to flash your D852 to stock Lollipop ROM.
after the update, all works well, except the screen seems a little bit lagging...

1.download rom that contains apk
2.extract zip file
3. on ubuntu mount system.img (furious mount ISO)
4. find LGCalendarProvider.apk, copy,paste in phone
5. install by clicking, voila!

not familiar with lg, well not totally true,I had a nexus 4 before. How do I access lgupdates?

OK I was asked a couple of times if I was going to make the CTT mod (cpu thermal throttling mod) for the G4
What I ended up achieving on this mod for the G3 was eliminating all lag improving performance and as a bonus I found a way to also reduce the heat generated by the battery and phone.
So I'm hoping to achieve the same thing for the G4

I have the INTL H815 with latest open EUR Firmware V10C. Which files you Need? Remember, if possible, that G4 is 64bit based. If u tell me, i can send u the recommended files. And...please find a way, that we can Change the needed files without custom recovery, cause custom recovery we not have all, cause not everybody wants to open for that the bootloader. I think it is possible to Change the files via a root Explorer right?

Under system/etc the thermal and thermald files if you have them
Yes via root explorer and you'll be able to just delete the ones you have and replace them with the ones I provide

Thats great. Ive been using your mods as reference on my G4 with good performance results. There Is a problem. The heat warnings and force shutdowns are gonna bother us when playing games or other heavy stuff. Hope some body can disable or tweak when those warning show up. I willing to test on my h 811
