Hi
Should I install
this ROM
{PLAY}[DEVELOPMENT] - CM9.0 - FXP103b FreeXperia Project
or
this ROM
[rom][AOSP] ICX Beta 2-test 2 [ICS] [4.0.3]
And why ?
Are both prepared for daily usage?
Icx has no camera and data.
It is still in beta.

I doubt you read those threads, at all.
I'd advice you to stay with stock.
You should definitly read those posts carefully. When asking these questions, and if u have already read the posts carefully, Please include your phone model,FW version, kernal, and build. It helps others help you. For one, You will have to have an unlocked BL, WHICH is dangerous if you don't know what SAFE mods you can perform. So, be sure to make backups of everything before flashing anything. Consider downloading a Stock Rom for your device in case you need to start completely over.
Here is a link to a post with a list of stock FTF(flash tool firmware) and roms and many other stuff. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1294129
Good Luck and Remember, You are responsible for what you do with your device.

There is a section called Xperia S development available. Go there you would find all the Custom ROMs are lined up. Search and read ROM descriptions and reviews from other users in respective ROM threads. You will get your answer.
And for Stock ROMs, there is a thread called Firmware compilation and it is in the General Section. It should be in the first page of that section. So go there and you will find all the Stock ROMs.

1. try to use the search function, its very easy to use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599303
2. try using the xzx2, by the way, custom rom is very relative, it depends upon your taste and preferences. i think all custom roms is battery friendly (correct me on this). just try to read about the custom roms you are aiming for. read about the comments and feedbacks by users who flashed it. it can help you a lot.

OMG !!!!!!! .... So many such IRRELEVANT THREADS in this forum ... All by newly-joined Junior Members ... Can't you ppl READ the forum title before making a new IRRELEVANT Thread ?? ... The Forum Title pretty Clearly States that this is an APP DEVELOPMENT related form and NOT a ROM Development one ... !!! Please Post in You're Device-Specific Thread .. !!
I have an arc s with cm10 and its a bit laggy i want to have android 4.4.
Which onw of those roms you suggest me.
I need stable one which dont get laggy after using it alot.
If android 4.4 have little problems it can be 4.3 too.
And its not a
"which is the best rom "
Thread.
Thx
Try to find your self which is good for you . But since you asked, try VanirAOSP 4.4.2 .
I believe this fits you best - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097137

Plzz i do not ask for fastest/best rom, but for stable one with less bugs. The arc s is for my bro , so i cant choose one of these billions of roms, because i cant try every rom. Its not my phone.
I know the rules of xda!!
There is no stable KitKat ROM, they all have certain flaws still.
And all ROMs become slow over time. If you wish to join the custom ROM world, you have to learn to maintain ROM's speed and efficiency.

Exynos = No ROM Development

Forget about Custom ROMs! Being an Exynos device, the chipset is entirely closed-source. Hence it's quite difficult for the developers to create custom ROMs. The only exception being some high-end Samsung Galaxy flagships that have a ROM or two.
Always remember, if you're interested in Custom ROMs and related developments, buy devices in this order: Snapdragon > MediaTek > Exynos

That's not true. I had a Samsung J7 Prime and have a lot of working roms. And i suposed that are many exynos devices which have custom roms. So, is posible. But is work for developers, if they want.
