[Q] Any specific instructions of 'how-to' install custom roms and kernels

Hello guyz, I was reading Note 8 forums for a while, and a few days ago, I got a GT-N5100 (3G Note 8) from expansys, which is the HK version.
I wanted to root my device and make my device into tablet mode just like 10.1", but I'm really new to rooting and putting customized things.
As I scrolled through some stuff, the rom for x-note was very attractive to me, but I was stuck on how to do things at all.
Can somebody write me down on how to do these things?
Would be great if you guyz first tell me how to install CWM and then the X-note Rom and then the Civ kernel?
Please help

[q] unable to update software for galaxy note ii gt n7105

I have rooted my Galaxy Note II GT N7105 and change my ROM to Customize ROM. But I found out that i made something wrong that i dont even backed up my imei and my S Pen is not working anymore. So I decided to return my ROM to factory ROM for I think this will help me repair my phone. Please refer to the image for the information of the custom ROM that I installed. Everythings goes well after the installation of the ROM I downloaded (but now I dont know where I downloaded it) until I figured out that my phone is having hard time updating its software. It stocked on Adroid Version 4.1.2 Baseband N7105XXDLL5 Build Number JZ054K.N7105XXDMB2. Can you give me any idea how to fix this problem. Any suggestions are appreaciated. Thanks guys..

ScreenMirror fix for custom ROMs (Tab3 8.0 311)

Hello,i have look a lots of here in xda,but i can not find a help for my problem.
I have the Rom from Samsung on my Tab 3 310.Then i have make root on it with CF-Auto-Root (everything is ok),but my screen mirror do not work after that.I have found some other XDA threads that have fix this

thats for Galaxy S4...
but no one of this fix work with the stock rom from Tab3 8.0 310.
And the TriangleAway fix don`t work on the 310(it is not supportet) .hmm
I have flash other ROMs too,but no one of that have working with ScreenMirror.
Can somebody help me with this?

HI, I have an S4 mini gt-i9190, some day ago i installed a cyogene mode based custom rom butn i dont really like it, i've been trying to get to my custom rom throug Oding and everytime i do it i says I OPeration failed I dont know why, i've followed all the steps as i invatigated could it be the region of the rom i'm downloading? and how can i now what region Rom I should look for??
Plese I'm desesperated.

[Q] GT-P5200 - Get stock recovery back?

Hi guys,
this is my first post after following this forum for years. Now I got a question which is not answered by the forum yet (or I didn't use good key words for search...):
I've flashed a deodexed 4.4.2 Kitkat and TWRP. Now I got a good cell phone (S4) so I want to sell my Tab 3 after getting to 100% stock. Here's my problem: I cannot find the stock recovery anywhere. So please tell me if there's a way to make the tab 100% stock again. Thanks in advance

You would have to odin flash the original firmware.
