i have a serious problem with my lg g3
i did unroot (back to stock) my g3 d855 to stcock while mcafee was checked as one of the phone administrators, first mcafee locked my phone with a pin code and i searched like hell for a way to get a pin code and i did manage to unlock my phone but recovery mode download mode are gone the phone says : download mode is disabled by a "kill switch", recovery mode is disabled by a "kill switch" i contacted the lg poepole in my country and they said that they can undo this if only they had the phone in their hands, but after unlocking the phone i rooted it (towelroot) and installed BUMP twrp and i flashed a custom rom (android now) and i'am sure that if they see this (waranty void i think) that they won't touch my phone, plus now i can't return to stock (download mode is disabled by a kill switch) any ideas please on how to get rid of this ********kill switch (i mean my phone my *******)
any help will be much appreciated

Hi. I think I can help you. Because I have the same problem ago and I solved it.
The way is :
1、reboot your phone again and again until mcafee not auto-start (trust me you can )
2、if you into the system without mcafee successful，Congratulations on your！You have achieved half of success！
3、download towelroot and installed to root your phone
4、after that. Your phone will restart ，then you have the same work likes step 1
5、download TitaniumBackup and installed，then find mcafee on TitaniumBackupal and unInstalled
6、then your phone will work normal，good luck for you.

if you can't install 'towelroot' then install 'stump root '
and install 'supersu'
It took me about three hours to complete the work. GOOD LUCK.
One day I decided to find out if the lock of McAfee works, so I went to this site : https://www.mcafeemobilesecurity.com/ and pressed lock. The phone locked. I entered the six digits pin and it unlocked. One day trying to flash a kdz I realized that the phone wasn't able to enter download mode. I returned to the site and from there I pressed lock and then unlock. I didn't enter any pin. Now the phone is able to enter download.

Contact mcaffee this is a big issue as long as u know the user name or somethin they will help

I was able to remove the Mcafee, its message is gone but the download mode is still disabled by kill switch.

So I rooted my Samsung Galaxy tab 3 8.0 (TM310) and started deleting bloatware. I restarted the device after deleting a couple of bloatware and think I deleted a necessary Google app. I kept getting a popup saying "android device manager has stopped working" so I think I deleted that. Being stupid I never actually created a backup (learnt my lesson) and thought if I factory reset the device, I'll have the original apps back; this did not work and created a problem. Now when I try to setup the the tablet, the google part comes up after setting up WiFi and it asks you for your first and last name to personalise the tablet. Considering I deleted an app, it just says android device manager has stopped working and just restarts the part where I have to enter my name. Essentially I can't setup or use this tablet without the app so is there a way to actually get it back? I'm willing to try anything as there is no loss. Tablet is useless otherwise. Thanks for your time!

Thanks. I tried before and 2 more times after you responded with one method but seems as if it was not working so tried an alternative method and that worked.
You could have tried flashing gapps
Before i root my sm t116nu tab 3v with the 360 root
Before i root my sm t116nu using 360 root and had a problem i think over use the apps, then after that my device cannot power on always see samsung logo , and i go too repair shop then says that we should reprogramm your phone but i didn't say my device is rooted, after reprogramming my phone back , when i reboot my phone using volume up + power button + menu button its an error connot reboot i think,, then 360r00t not running my phone is not rooted, sorry of my english sentence but i understand english, please help god bless xda
Go to ( http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-T310 ) and download a rom for your region , you can flash them with odin . And this ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789510 ) might help you too . P.S idk how to hyperlink .
Suddenly I get a warning telling me to uninstall king root 4.9.6. I've been running same fulmics 6 for months and I just discovered the warning sign today.
What is this? Is there any potential danger to keeping king root? If I uninstall king root I will loose root privileges, yes?

Fulmics has SuperSu installed as System application,there was no need to install KingRoot..
Also if you have two Root apps (same like SuperSu),then your phone isn't going to have a good time..
So delete KingRoot and stay with SuperSu.

I disabled king root.btw it is fulmics 6.1 I got. It seems all things good now. I feel a little paranoid, as I discovered king root is from China ?
I wonder if I should do complete install from scratch or am I safe as long as king root is not longer active?

The best choice is to uninstall it.Because it has setted it's self as a system application.
But also i think it has an option (in-app) "Uninstall".
In addition if Kingroot is unable to uninstall by using the inapp option then try installing an app from Play store called " System app remover" and delete it from there.
If nothing works then doing a clean re-installation of the ROM would be a great option.
A Tip:Never install an other Root application while you have SuperSU.
Let's take Kingroot for an example, when you have SuperSU and install Kingroot then automatically Kingroot detects that you have an other root application and it set's it's self as system app.
System app remover did the trick. Removed the King Root app. Result is o/c that adaway is no longer working. So I get to play around with SuperSU now. As I am new to SuperSU I am not sure how to get the correct settings. Should I make SuperSU a system app? Or set permanent full root?
Btw, I never had any problems running King Root. It was even a very nice way to charge the phone because King Root made charging go faster.
I've been thinking about the warning sign I got, and could it possible be a generic warning because King Root had root access? Meaning I would get the same warning with other apps with root access?
It seems strange that King Root that is mentioned som many times here on XDA should be crapware. Surely some smart people would have noticed and made posts about it? I am thinking maybe I panic'd and removed King Root prematurely?
Darn it. SuperSU won't run or allow me to set root access to apps. So no TWRP does not work, adaway does not work, root checker confirms I don't have root anymore and to make things worse, SuperSU says I need to upgrade, so I downloaded the latest version as a zip file to install from TWRP but guess what, no more root access. I will try to boot manually into TWRP and install SuperSU. Hopefully that will work.
And reading SuperSU thread it clearly says I must have ROOT prioer to install SuperSU.
Is there are fulmics setting somewhere I have overlooked? Can I set root from within fulmics tweaks?

Seems I am good after all. Turned out I messed up the fulmics 6.1 badly when trying to get adaway for youtube to work. So now I got fulmics 6.5. Yeah I know it is not the latest but I had slow internet connection and 6.5 was already downloaded but not yet installed so I just picked that and did a swipe, and twrp install of fulmics 6.5.
I did however install king root 5.01 again to get an easy way of getting everything else important installed that requires root.
If I don't see more warnings I think I will be fine. If I do I will take the plunge for superSU and read up on that before making the switch.
If I see those warning signs again I will try not to panic and try to keep calm

i have Samsung Galaxy J2. Yesterday, my device got stuck and after restarting the device, it failed to open up normally. So i did a factory reset ! But it took me to Wi-Fi Connection setup and enter gmail id.
As i remember this phone belonged to my brother , when he purchased, the shop keeper must have made a gmail id for him and entered like so.
But now, as i enter my gmail id , it refuses to accept my gmail id, my bro can't remember his gmail id.
Also my phone is running Android OS 5.1 or higher and it must have had Android Factory Reset Protection (FRP) turned on.
I don't know if there is another way to access my device. Or to flash it with different ROM.

My boot loader is locked but I have USU'ed it. I have TWRP installed too...
Every stock 2BA rom I have tried, I can't activate unknown sources...
I can't access settings parameters.
And in top of all, I CANT UNINSTALL ANY APP... My phone will just reboot...

So I have had my bs3 just over a mth now and I really love it.
Unfortunately mine came with the Chinese Rom and this is causing some problems for me.
1) cant sign in to the black shark account because the region code is locked
2) whatsapp, snapchat and a few other apps are really inconsistent with notifications (the min the phone goes to sleep it stops receiving msgs until I reopen the app)
3) tinder gives me a location access not granted even though it has been given access.
4) phone doesnt stay connected to pc when plugged in and I have to constantly tweak the usb settings to get it to. (semi fixed by usb drivers which were a pain to install)
In reading up seems like this could be fixed by the global rom but nowhere seems to have it. I even tried contacting blackshark directly to which they said they dont give out the firmware over the internet as there is a chance it would brick it ( I call bs because xiaomi does it FOR EVERY OTHER PHONE and has a tool for it on their site). Does anyone have any idea how to fix any of these issues?

Head over to black shark 3 pro threads. There is a guide to unlock bootloader for bs3 and bs3pro and then you can install global rom..

The loader is great but cant find the global rom anywhere. Cant afford to pay for it to be redone right now so stuck with hoping it gets released.

If your bootloader unlocked , flash the twrp and magisk to root it. Then systemize google apps ,your notifications will be no issue. Most of the google apps will work like global rom. For my case i still use China and i found out china mp5 is more smooth. Just my 2 cent..

Lol so you basically speaking gibberish to me is there any instruction or tutorial on how to do those things?
As I said I generally love the layout its just the annoying part of not getting a few apps to work properly (whatsapp, tinder and snapchat in particular)
