I have recently started loading my Kairosoft titles onto my Note 4 and there is noticeable lag when I play. I know the graphics can't be the issue since these titles ran smoothly on my Note 2. Are there any settings that can be tweaked to alleviate this?

Hi!
I'm using HTC Desire Z (overclocked to 1Ghz) with CoreDroid ROM (for a long time), and I have tried to install few HD games, but they didn't worked.
First of all, Fast Five: when game is launched, it freezes whole phone on loading screen and I must pull out battery.
Real Racing 2: when game is launched, it's pretty lagging, and when I start race it closes game on loading screen.
Asphalt 6/7 and Modern Combat 3 won't even show loading screen on start - game is immediately closed.
Reason why I'm asking for help is because I have installed Asphalt 5, NFS Shift and Hot Pursuit, and they work perfectly - without any lag (especially NFS Hot Pursuit).
So, does anybody know how to solve this, or to recommend me something to try? Thanks in advance!
P.S. Just to let you know that I have properly installed these games, with changed "Build.prop" file for Gameloft games, but I assume that problem isn't with that changed file(?)
Hi. This is my first post - I'm new to Android - this is my first Android phone and places like this and the people here and their work are why I switched.
(short version)
Can any Note2 gamers out there chime in on game performance? I am getting deal-breaking lag on any game I try (admittedly limited but including GTA3, MaxPayne and MAME).
(long version)
In the month or so I've had the phone I have rooted and unlocked it, used stock for a while and then went to Jelly Beans' ROM. I've run all the odd numbered versions of that rom, stock kernel, clean wipe every time. I've read the thread about the rom all the way through...
About a week ago I learned I could use a PS3 controller over USB natively for gaming and it worked right our of the box for games like GTA3 and Max Payne. I grabbed the games, and they seem to play great, but there is a noticeable audio lag - like 1/2 to a full second. The visuals seem to be smooth, and the controls seem to be responsive, but the audio lag makes games unplayable. I've only tried those two games pul some emulators, but both animaonline (SNES) and mame4droid (not reloaded) have the same audio lag issues. I get the lag over bluetooth and with wired headphones.
Some searching showed me that audio latency has been an issue with Android for a while, but also that Jelly Bean was supposed to fix that, and that higher end phones (like the note 2?!) had less of a problem. I also haven't seen any complaints from Note 2 owners regarding any of the games I mentioned.
I'm curious what others' experience has been with this. Thanks,

Bean's ROM is an rom that was ported so it was not made specifically for the Sprint GN2. THIS is probably your problem.
Is every1 of you satisfied with the gaming performance of the tab? I would have assumed, that's actual games run smoother smooth with this device, so should youtube-hd videos... but neither games (Asphalt 8 Airborne, Repulze,...) run smooth (they are stuttering somehow) nor do youtube videos run smooth (same stutter). Any1 else noticed it? I played around with some governors, not even "performance" strikes those stutters out... I saw a thread in some other forums, where the LG g2 left cpu rendering active as default.. so i took the advice and chaged the egl.cfg in system/libs/egl... no effect at all.
Also the videos don't seem to be "filtered" - had a NExus 7 before, videos were super smooth and "filtered" (I don't know how to describe this more accurately...). The videos on the GPad look more pixelated and definitely not smooth... there seems to be some kind of filter/driver/...? missing...?
Any ideas?
EDIT:
see this page:

i tried to edit the egl.cfg... but it didn't change anything, sadly.
I don't play those games, but dead trigger 2, real racing 3, arcane legends and shadow gun dead zone run smoothly all day. Most I've played was 2 hours straight.
Little stutter
I have a little stutter i Youtube while watching Danny McAskill way back hoke, but it is both with and without HD and I also experience some stutter on my pc (core i7 integrated graphics). On the other hand I watched some netflix without stutter so maybe it's something with youtube.
I tried asphalt 8 and noticed a little stutter in the beginning but later it was gone (played 20 min great game by the way) and I never experience any stutter in Defence zone 2 HD.
Does the Tab 2 8.4 handle graphic-intense games smoothly?
Only stutters here on there but hardly. You only see them on loading screens when loading the game
