OK. So let me make this clear.
1. Be me
2. Download ROM and Gapps and transfer to internal memory
3. Reboot to recovery
4. Wipe data, system and cache
5. Flash ROM and Gapps
6. Reboot system
7. Enjoy AOGP
8. Be me
Is that all?
Now comes the doubts
1. What about bootloader? No need to flash the kernel and something? (S-Off S-On...??)
2. Wiping the data in recovery (I have CWM Philz touch) erase everything in internal memory?
Thanks!

I'm not able to connect my phone via MTP
Any fix ?

Thanks for all the hard work

Cause im looking to downgrade my honor 6 from android M to L since there's way too many battery issues with android M yet. It's not terrible but it's bad to go from two days of battery to charge both mid day and just before bedtime.

First off, thanks for your amazing work!
I noticed that with the 7th build, after a factory reset, the wizard does not appear, not a big issue, just thought I'd let you know.
Found another issue, the screen doesn't turn on when I open the cover or off when I close it.

EDIT: REbooted and my battery is charging now
How do we bring up app switcher?
EDIT: Solved this by assigning Home button's long press action
my tab didnt connect to my pc

Request Help on eousphoros's [UNOFFICIAL][LOLLIPOP][ROM] Blck/Cyanogenmod 12 SM-T700
Hi! I am new to the XDA community. I have recently decided to root my SM-T700. After successfully rooting it, I decided to install community user eousphoros's unofficial Lollipop mod for my device. I have spent 2 days reading forums and applying my self taught knowledge on how to mod the device myself without nuisancing other community members. I went from one forum post to another, one youtube videos to the next, and multiple google searches. At last, I am still having trouble figuring out how to install eousphoros's mod found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...official-blck-cyanogenmod-12-sm-t700-t2963870
If possible, and if anyone have the spare time, will he or she be willing to write a simple step by step guide for me to follow?
-Edit 1:
The problem I had wast that each time I use Rom Manager (using both TWRP and Clockwork Mod) to install the Mod, both application don't see the zip file. I stored the zip file on my sd card and my external sd card. TWRP doesn't see it and Clockwork mod seems to show errors.
Thanks for spending your time to read my request!

Stupid question but how do you know your device is successfully rooted?
Rooted
I have SuperSU installed, and it tells me that my device is rooted.
When you use TWRP, do you launch it in the Android OS directly or do you boot into recovery mode to use it
Same thing here right after I have disabled HW overlay.
I only could start the device in download mode and than restart it. After that, the HW overlay was eneabled again and the tablet works fine.
Can't post on the main thread, so posting here. I flashed this rom last night and so far is working pretty well. Thanks for all your hard work on this. Here are the things I've noticed so far (some have already been mentioned). Let me know if any of these can be fixed via settings that I'm not seeing or if they require new builds.
1. Video playback issues (Disabling hw_overlay fixes this).
2. Recent apps hardware button doesn't work.
3. No haptic feedback on hardware buttons.
4. No autocorrect/next word suggestion in keyboard. I tried aosp and google keyboard. For example, if I type "cant" it doesn't change it to "can't".
Thanks again!

You need to boot into recovery to use TWRP. There is a TWRP app that you can run in the Android OS, but most of the times it's just easier to boot into recovery.

I'm seeing the same. Did you dirty flash this new build (I did)? Wondering if a clean flash would help.

I launch from Android OS, is that wrong? Should I boot into recovery mode to try to install it?

Newbie question
So, going forward, what will the update process be using this ROM? It will require flashing the new version? Will that erase my data/apps each time or is there a way to do it as if you were doing an update from a manufacturer?
TIA

Full wipe with TWRP, wipe system, data, and caches. You can use Titanium back up to back up apps and their data and restore them after an update.
