Ask yourself this question, is the Kit Kat rom stable on a Sony Xperia S and is all the features working on it with out incident.

Probably, yes but in a very long time, if not a long time then never...
Most developers have abandoned the Xperia S, Rayman who worked on cm11 and cm10 had discontinued their project. Meaning it's very unlikely unless someone new is going to port it.
It's not the developers fault, but Sony for abandoning their device too soon.
Also ETAs are against the XDA rules. So I'd imagine this thread get closed any time soon.

The Xperia Acro S just received a working Lollipop build, it's in very early development stage and there are major issues, BUT IT WORKS! As I said it's for the Acro S but it should be fairly easy to port it to the Xperia S.

This should raise our hopes then. Now that they got it working, then I cant see why we cant port it - I think I saw a post mentioning the developer says it should also boot on the S and that he'll work on it

I will continue to work on my ROM but you should take a look on this one.
It works better than mine. The kernel for 3.4 mako lolipop is released on AOSP and this ROM already integrate some parts of it. billchen1977 is faster than me lol.
I will focus to add new features (recovery, superuser, remove security layer from Exchange Mail etc) and I will integrate the works done by billchen1977 (no need to do the same work twice except to learn ).

where can we find the source code for it? Did you use the libraries from CM7? If yes you probably use the old gralloc and copybit and need changes to surfacefligner for that, am I right? Where are these changes?

You seem to be mistaken about who the OP of this thread is. It is not you.
Nice, working very good for a beta. Ok its an alpha (what's in a name)
A bit slower than cm7, but still fast if you know there's no hardware acceleration.
However: UI sucks
EDIT: quickpic is the old version, cm7 music, too many chinese stuff even after applying dutch (root explorer for example).
Things to be fixed first: picture layout and kernel ! After applying a new wallpaper, its back to normal

Just used it for a good 20min and (i know its an alpha) I find it somewhat broken.
I think that this should be kept as stock as possible with stock touch input, stock gallery and all gapps.

It says they are putting official support for HTC G13.
For those of you who dont know....HTC G13 is the chinese name for the Wildfire S(remember it since the diag--s-off method trying days)...So it means we will get official support for atleast one rom.........YAY!!!!!!

I think that in other devices they have included progresively other languages. So it´s a fact of time that in the weekly update (every friday) they might add other languages.

I managed to get WiFi to work but i can't get mobile network to run I have signal, i can change between 2G/3G but i can't get any data through or data connectivity icon. I even tryed few tweaks in *#*#4636#*#* menu but noth'... Any1 have that problem too?
Gapps for CM 7 works just fine.
Couldn't connect to update server over wifi (server data error) but i guess it's just temporarily, gonna test it a bit more through tomorrow
A great rom!... d battery life is little poor...hope dey fix it in nxt build.

evn i had d same problem of data not working..u need to manually add APN ..it worked for me..

Yeah tnx, that did the job. I totaly forgot on that since i didn't used it often lately
Okay, so far so good. ROM behave well, no fc on any app so far, noticeably more free memory in start then native CM 7.2.
Like mussic app very much, only thing it doesn't remember custom preset so you have to just open it before playback but sound is awesome.
GPS bug that throws you 500km away from your current position is here for me, didn't managed to test any patches for that yet.
After recharging gona do battery calibration and test battery life.

Lockscreen themes wrkd quite well fr me.
Quite satisfied wid d overal [email protected] just hv a look at battery stats..for me it drains too quickly..

actually, this files uploaded 2 days ago (19 August) and i share it to member of galaxy gio community on facebook group. and now, i want to share it here.

- removed all keyboard dictionary [except: English] (Well, this is also due storage issue)
- temporary disable usb mass storage, because its very buggy. you can use recovery to transfer your files

As I see, probably you don't want to contribute with me, so maybe I should leave Gio development or something. I always respect you and I wouldn't ever make cm7, because it was your ROM and making second, exacly the same doesn't make any sense. first of all, i dont know you're build cyanogenmod 10. because i never go to this subforum. sometime ago, i open xda only for discuss on galaxy pop development
second, i never say i dont want to contribute with you.

But in CM7 there's nothing important to solve. Isn't it better to have one great bug-free CM10 instead of having two buggy as hell roms?

Simtoolkit is very important for us here in the Philippines. And please fix ussd cause we have text/call promos that are easily accessible via ussd. There are a lot of bugs that we encountered on the previous P930 port like bluetooth headsets not functioning properly, the contacts bug (sim memory full, unable to copy contacts to/from sim, etc.), sensor, wifi and a lot of reboots. Hope this will all be fix on your rom. Im currently using ROM v163 by chuyennho184 and its very stable but there are errors with the ussd. Thanks and more power.

In my rom, I fixed ussd command. In now, I have CM9 ported from SU640 for LU6200.
Is this GB or ICS or JB?

I'm from Philippines and I am using the ROM right now.
And FYI this is not originally mine. I'm just modifying it so that it would be more useful to every one. I'm currently on a test mode to make sure everything is okay.

I was using the ROM of chuyennho but I am more satisfied with this ROM.
Hoping it will work with everybody.

Sorry for the mistake. It is V20e rather. What I mean is my other ROM for LU6200. Sorry for the error.

I cannot promise you with that.. All you have to do is to calibrate your battery to make it last in a day of full work.....
I'm trying to figure out some tweaks but because this is a Stocked ROM from Bell, I am having hard time for this...
But everything will work fine here....

so i just built pac-man 4.3 with resources from opensemc (these guys are awesome). it boots, but im having issues. wifi wont connect and i had to remove the phone.apk because of force closing. i was going to post it in the dev section since it is a rom, wip, and would love feedback and testers, however, since i usually lurk on xda and never post, im not allowed to.
so if there is anyone with a lt26w and would like to test for me (my dad has an at&t phone that i can use the sim card to test signal/data but i can only use it late at night, which doesnt help too much for testing), or help me get/make the right wifi modules, or just wants to help make pac-man very solid, id love your help!
so far what i can see, everything seems to be working but wifi/phone/camcorder - but it's hard to test the rest without wifi
im not sure if i can see dm's - but i will be working on this for the rest of the day, so ill be checking back here every now and then..

check with @deedwar he has a PAC thread in the development section and he built it from source maybe he can help you..currently he has put development for his PAC on hold while he's working on his other ROMs

Definetly dont give up on building it. Just at the moment there is way to much happening with the 10.2 branch so you really need to compile the 10.2 from raymanfx and if that works try with your pac.
