Hello every one i have juste finished to deodex ROM installed on MY S3 NEO
- OFFICIAL firmware ( stock rom ) and are I9301IXXUANH1_I9301IPHNANG1_I9301IXXUANF2
I have deodexed all the ROM and also add init.d on boot for complet ROM i need some help for updater script PM me if you need help to make ROM flashable .
if not here are flashable ZIP for only 3 folder on system
1-app
2-framwork
3-priv-app
all .odex files are deodex and compresed and working fine with out any problem if you have any problem tel me know any feedbac are welcome
PS: apps are not changed or removed all are original dump from my device

1- reboot into recovery
2- install zip
3- reboot device and enjoy deodexed ROM
4- you win 300 MB after odex remove

Mmmm , this is a shame , but not for a master like you SPAWK , you did a good job and you have to keep updating you rom with new features and believe me you will get more than thanks , dont forget that you cannot have 100% of thanks , and S3 NEO is anewer device so patience , i have downloaded many roms and i thank rarelly developpers in post i do it with MY HEART without doubt but if i find bugs i post them , so doooooooont abandon us like this:crying::crying::crying:

no are stock and cyanogen are custom rom this only stock rom original come on phone juste deodexed for more space inside

I am trying to deodex stock XCSAQE1 with no success, I am using Auto-Deodexer 4.4.x and had a go with some other tools, but I can't get system to boot up if I deodex the framework. Have you any idea?

XXLM8 and XXLM6 are both EU firmware if not mistaken
Anyway you can still try it at least XXLM8 based Black Notes is working for me in Asian region

If a rom is created by a developer here, wouldn't it be a custom rom?

In fact, you can bring back the deleted apps in just a few steps to a custom ROM, as well as you can find its apk

Because the file is 300MB++ so I may have difficulty in downloading and uploading it again

yep your right i already downloaded it using firefox
but chrome no success well thanks mate using the ROM now
As in title, this is just a deodexed + zipaligned + root + busybox stock ROM
Before flashing as any other ROM keep sure system is unmounted or you'll get Error status: 7
If you are not coming from a JB ROM you MUST wipe your DATA!

Installing on Locked Bootloaders:
To install this ROM you just need a working recovery and flash it like any other ROM.
Installing on Unlocked Bootloaders:
Install it from any JB kernel with a recovery, this wont rewrite your kernel.

Deodexed rom will be slower than odexed and Zipaligned will bring back the performance.

U must flash the provided kernel as @robgie said using flastool or cmd

well, I have an Xperia NEO (hallon) the zip is "vanir_hallon_4.4.2.031714" I have changed kernel and still does not pass the logo of the kernel, I went back to download the zip but the Haida and worked well, weird no?

Thank you for ROM but there is a little bug that crashes launcher if apps are installed on SD card and you connect to PC via MSC.
Also i cant end call, must wait for other person to end it.

Thanx for the good work, I love your rom.
I understood that since 04/04 the kernel used is a unstable one.
I tried to install the build from 04/04, 05/04 and 07/04 with each time the same result : kernel freeze with color noise screen, not even kernel logo.
So, I revert to 30/03 build and it's ok.
I understand that I could help by flashing the unstable kernel and sending you the dmesg output.
But I'm afraid loosing all (bricked phone or I do'nt know what)...
Is there any procedure to easily "save" my current /boot to resotre it after the test ?

Indeed the sim doesn`t work and in About device it says Unknown at Baseband section.. That`s because of the RIL, that is not compatible with the modem we have. Altough, there are persons that weren`t affected.. I am working now on a method to flash roms without deleting proper ril..

I think it will be only for samsung especially for our model because `till now i didn`t seen those issues...
That method that i was talking about is most of modifying updater-script to not wipe all system, preserving ril and other files necessarily from the original rom..

Not quite.. I don`t really know what to do.. For now i`m keeping just to solve the bugs from here to have at least few working and bug free roms..
And in secret i`m trying to update kernel version somewhere higher than 3.0.15..

hey! just install v1.1 and then using the ota service from the device, update it.
or else, download all the updates from the thread and install them

You do not have meta-inf and updater script right?
You will have to make your own updater script...depending upon in which partition your system, boot, etc are. Google these two and you will find proper guide threads.
Also, you can use (after editing) another rom's updater script. That rom should belong to your device.

Are you using Master Awesome's CWM recovery? The background colour of recovery should be Grey. The link is present in post 1.
guys i flashed a self created rom got boot loop so tried to backup rombuzz rom but started imei issue so flashed stock imei issue still there so followed karthiks method and solved issue but whenever i flash new rom i get imei issue how to solve permanently

Hello,
I found a bug: when i listen music or fm radio and a notification arrive : the music stops playing, the screen is black and the power button is disabled.
LED notification flashes but nothing more.
The only solution is to remove the battery and cut the next time connexion data
Otherwise it is one of the most successful ROM I've tested, thank you !

i used sn write tools and got my imei number back bro but again i flashed a rom same issue
bro i made a rom elie e3 kitkat system and boot.img in kitchen it created updater script itself the rom shows installation complete but stuck at boot loop how to make a kitkat rom using system and boot.img of other stock rom
