well to be fair there are plenty of ports out there currently. just not for our m8. gpe should be here in a few weeks or so.
A lot of people think late November early December chances HTC is already working on lollipop for the m8 GPE so im definitely glad i converted mine to GPE

What are you doubting? I'm downloading.it (very slowly from here) right now.
Bear in mind our second 1.29.x.x was 2 months after it started rolling out in Europe, so we may have some of the updates already.

they can still change their minds but this is just a common answer, The higher up execs probably haven't decided what they're doing so take this with a pinch of salt. if there's no other announcements by february then we probably won't be getting another update but don't quote me on it.

Yes, since the lower end devices can run 4.4. As promised by Google's Android dev.
I dont think this HOX will be skipping this update. Just the people at HTC do some work for it. :victory:

It can run on our phones fine but the issue is nvidia.
This article is about US version, ONE XL, but we won't get it either (I think).
But surely they have to support the One X+ as that is still under or around 18 months old, in which case it shouldn't take much to port it to ours.
With the excellent devs we have on here it would turn up quicker than HTC porting it to ours as well.
Yes they can change their minds sure and there is still hope.... Chuckle

Yeah, I'd say sometime during November or December, you should see CM12 with Android L 5.0 roms popping out in the forums just like Kitkat last year that came out along with the Nexus 5 at the end of October

Good to hear. I cannot wait to try them. I'm kind of bummed that Xposed doesn't support ART yet but hopefully it will soon after Android L is released but who knows.
Hello World,
I don't like changing ROM too often. Mostly because I need to get all my stuff into the phone again. But I'll install the Android L rom as soon as possible. But now I don't have more space. So what do you guys think? Should I wait for an Android L ROM or update to Venom 3.0.1?
When will the first Android L rom come? 1 week? 1 month? I have honestly no idea. I can live with a month, but not more than that.
Ummm android l rom is out check it out on dev section

If you are asking about Android L with Sense you might need to wait for a couple of months.

Hi I would like to know if anyone tried porting MIUI to HTC M9
Miui miui miui ?
i want it also...
Very doubtful at this point, and even if they did the camera would almost certainly not work. You can get a launcher which looks just like miui but a full Rom is far from a reality .
can't find miui launcher...
I could certainly try

Tried the APK from the official website. Need to make an account. Doesn't run, force closes straight away. Fyi the camera for non sense roms is now working so that's something. Also miui was actually ported to the m8 and the m7 before it.

That was thanks to the GPE models.
Since it's working here, it can be ported. Might take a while, but love the interface.
Is it not possible to port it from CM13?
