Uninstaller is right in the aroma
Just below option of install swap..there is option to remove swap for uninstalling

Make it clear: this program create a swap partition on SDcard? If that is then is best to know about the accelerate wear of sdcard. Is a minus of this method.

will this render our fonz dead in a few months.. coz it will cause high amounts of read and write onto the sd card...

Query
Will this swap be created on sd card or internal memory?
Plsssss answer me

No Turbo Boost will not make swap on SD card. It will make swap based upon your selection.
Basically there are three types of memory space.
-system (where all system files are stored)
-data (installed apps and data are stored.)
-cache (this is the cache memory)
Usually recent devices have lots of free space in cache memory and is left unused.
To see your memory partitions, just type these in terminal emulator.
$ df cache
$ df system
$ df data
These each command will show the details of the partitions respectively.
So it is better to use cache memory for swap partition. This way it does not destroy your sdcard. And don't worry about cache memory being destroyed by read write. For more information please search for turbo boost in XDA.
Thanks...

cache memory is placed on internal SDCard (is a partition) and because is on a flash memory type is vulnerable to repeated cicle of read/write!

If you are more worried about cache memory (internal memory) being vulnerable to read/write then please dont use your CellPhone.
Whenever you open up anything, even if you switch on your device, your internal memory is being read (i.e system, data & cache). So as you said it would be vulnerable to R/W then you should be even worried about using your device.
Android devices are designed to handle a lot of R/W cycles. Its nothing to worry about it.
If you are still worried then PLEASE kindly google.
I cant explain the whole System Architecture like this.
And please as I said earlier to atleast read Harbir's Post in Turbo Boost for more details.
In Xda, its mendatory to read and read and read Or atleast google. Your questions might have be answered somewhere.
In your case it is already answered, and even it was Clearly written in the Post that you QUOTED just now that further details can be found if you search for Turbo Boost in xda.

I was wondering about it, too. Maybe... overclock?
The normal overclock ...
Hmm, if the purpose of this rom is to gain as much performance as possible for gaming then you should post some typical Antutu / Quadrant benchmarks.
It's called a gaming rom cause, you can play games without having problems with unresponsive 2 finger touch or multitouchscreen.
edit. if your on 2.3.5 why not install nova. its like playing in a keyboard w/o a mouse. Once your left thumb is pressing the joystick you cant look around, just 1 movement then it stops there you have to release left thumb to look again. with this rom you can walk and look around simutaneously.

But me myself havent downloaded yet some hd games I only have 4 games like nova, desert storm, fruit ninja n fn puss n boots.

Regardless, overall touch screen gaming completely sucks in it's current state. The only "gaming" android device worth having is the sony xperia play which has physical controls. Unless you plan on carrying around a bluetooth ps3 controller with you, and even then this device is so underpowered compared to other devices on the market that it can barely run anything 3D. The only 3D android game for the wildfire s that I enjoy and works flawlessly is Speedx 3D and that doesn't even use touchscreen controls.
in 2.3.5 you only get a fancy lockscreen with a broken kernel.
question
this may be a noob question but i have previously updated my wfs to android 2.3.5, so if i flash this rom, will it be like downgraded to 2.3.3?
question
Why did you made a rom from 2.3.3 and not from the latest 2.3.5?
Please post benchmarks. Because if it is under 1900 my rom also could be a gaming rom.

Well I haven't tried the rom but I'd expect having perfect multi-touch would be important to a "gaming" rom than a slightly better 3d benchmark.

Another useless rom. But I like the idea. A rom with just some stuff on it,
overlock with a better kernel, free ram script, adrenalin script and kickass kernel. This would be a awesome Gaming ROM. But i think, making a faster rom than m1ndh4x8r or jxmatteo isn't easy and nearly

Well from my point of view all these non-vanilla roms look the same to me.
If your on 2.3.5 you can install this rom without any problems. It's just like installing an old version of windows 7 but fully optimized, and modded.
It is not an European rom... Can you add more languages?
Gaming
Well guys as far as gaming is concerned I m not having any problem with my 2.3.5 and if antutu 3d bnchmark score is concerned then it could be increased with this post.... It worked on my WFS but didn't make much of a difference.... Well all the work was done by rk0064 so all credits go to him.... The tweak is basically about LG p500 but works also on WFS as both pieces have the same gpu....
Link to the post is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1530411
and I have a question too.... How much internal space remains after the complete install of this ROM ? Cos on stock install I had around 125 mb and successfully I m maintaining 105 MB on internal memory....
That lib tweak won't work in this rom, also this ROM is designed only for data2sd, its deodexed and has an internal memory of 1-2GB, but if data2sd is not installed you will get only 44mb left.
im still waiting for benchmark score

Hey guys i was thinking and thats not good, but anyway,i have this rom on my phone which is running JB,tweaked to the max, added a bunch of tweaks and themes to it,runs like butter and looks pretty,i also added a great mod that gives my OG internal 8GB instead of 1GB,anyway to the point, how many of you guys have Smelkus recovery and would flash a backup(nandroid) rom?
I have that recovery on my evo. But would that work on a different phone? But hell I will give it a shot.

Yea i was talking to one of the devs from the Nexus forums and he was telling me that, also.I'm gonna upload it this morning and post it.
Edit:This will only be a test nandrom,im using mazdas AOKP rom as a base, which i added a few really effective JB tweaks and the reverse storage tweak and some themeing and added a few apps and other themes for CM10.I have this rom screaming,no lags,GPS works great,of course you know Mazda does great work anyway,so this rom already rocked before i touched it,(in the words of Mazda=Hahahahaha)
Uploading now.

I added some tweaks to the rom:
CrossBreeder:This is a new take at Android GUI lag reduction. It's lightweight and won't consume battery. Users have reported drastic improvements in usability and even benchmark scores. It can work on any Android device from Froyo to Gingerbread to Honeycomb to ICS and Jellybean. Modern OSs show lesser improvement but it's still quite noticeable.
This is a combination of 3 different methodologies to reduce Android lag due to low entropy.
1. Change wakeup threshold kernel parameters ala KAK.
2. Run an external entropy filler ala Seeder. The whole OS reads either /dev/random or /dev/urandom and both need entropy. However this mod uses a completely different, lightweight and efficient random number generator called Havege . This sharply reduces cpu consumption and corresponding battery life loss compared to Seeder. It also does a better job at keeping entropy levels high hence your device is more responsive. It doesn't run in a CPU intensive loop either.
3. Remove /dev/random as it's blocking. Link it to non-blocking /dev/urandom. Since /dev/random is blocking and designed to protect us from Quantum alien cryptographers with mathematical certainty and urandom is non blocking pseudo-random device that most apps and OSs are using anyway. Pre ICS devices have a lot to gain with this but ICS+ devices show visible gains too.

MPEngine™:-MPEngine is a live engine script which was supposed to help on some parts that LazerDroid script couldn't handle,
but now its complete independent script(some little parts are shared), this one beast engine will demolish all those crappy huge lags.

AD2SDX:This mod will move all Internal Memory (data) into sd-ext, "but not like data2ext", this mod will maintain the performance, because it still place dalvik-cache and system application data in Internal Memory.
•Move Mounting Internal Memory (/data) Into /sd-ext
•Mount SDCard-Ext (mmcblk0p2) partition into /data
•Create dalvik-cache directory in Internal Memory data (/sd-ext), and symlink it to mmcblk0p2 (/data)
•Create data directory in mmcblk0p2 (/data) And symlink it into Internal Memory data (/sd-ext)
•Create symlink of app, app-private, app_s and lib_s from mmcblk0p2 (/data) to Internal memory data (/sd-ext)
•Create symlink for all non-symllink of Internal Memory data (/sd-ext) into mmcblk0p2 (/data)
•Create data_s in Internal Memory data (/sd-ext)
•Move All mmcblk0p2(/data)/data/com.htc* and com.android* into Internal Memory data(/sd-ext)/data_s
•Create symlink all files/directory from Internal Memory data (/sd-ext)/data_s/* into mmcblk0p2(/data)/data/ So the System Application Data still read into Internal memory, but rest Application Data will read Into SDCard.

The script will do this in the first boot:
Move Mounting Internal Memory (/data) Into /sd-ext
Mount SDCard-Ext (mmcblk0p2) partition into /data
Create dalvik-cache directory in Internal Memory data (/sd-ext), and symlink it to mmcblk0p2 (/data)
Create data directory in mmcblk0p2 (/data) And symlink it into Internal Memory data (/sd-ext)
Create symlink of app, app-private, app_s and lib_s from mmcblk0p2 (/data) to Internal memory data (/sd-ext)
Create symlink for all non-symllink of Internal Memory data (/sd-ext) into mmcblk0p2 (/data)
After Initializing Setup (First Boot), reboot the system (Just reboot, don't go into recovery), the mod will automatically do this following:
Create data_s in Internal Memory data (/sd-ext)
Move All mmcblk0p2(/data)/data/com.htc* and com.android* into Internal Memory data(/sd-ext)/data_s
Create symlink all files/directory from Internal Memory data (/sd-ext)/data_s/* into mmcblk0p2(/data)/data/ So the System Application Data still read into Internal memory, but rest Application Data will read Into SDCard.

INITIAL SETUP
1. Download A2SDx from Amarullz's Thread
2. Root your phone (if not rooted)
Verify that you have Custom ROM/Kernel that supports A2SD
3. Partition your SD Card. (preferably via MiniTool Partition Wizard 7 or up)
for SD cards 2GB or Lower
Partition 1:
Label: Android-SD
File System: FAT
Partition Size(in MB): 1536 MB (1.5GB for 2GB SD Cards) or 836MB (for 1GB SD Cards)
Partition 2:
Label: Android-EXT(EXT Number): Ex. Android-EXT2/EXT3 or EXT4
File System: EXT3 (preferable file system)
NOTE:
•EXT2 is old, EXT4 is the fastest among 3 but not compatible in all ROMS and often requires kernel that supports EXT4, so go for EXT3, fast and mounts on most ROMS.
•For SD Cards 4GB and up, IT IS ADVISED TO SET EXT PARTITION SIZE MORE THAN 1GB for better use.

4. Extract the file from 40a2sdx.zip.
5. Open a root explorer and copy the file to /System/etc/init.d .
6. Set permissions to 777 ,i.e. , rwx-rwx-rwx.
7. Reboot your device. This is a slow reboot. Patience is virtue.
8. Reboot again.
9. Check your Internal Memory.
CAUTION: Phone boot time slows by a very little bit.

Nice guide buddy, im glad to see me in the credits
Before you install this script be sure you have no sd card speed fix in init.d folder, amarullz script has a build in speed fix.
And remove bacem tweak if you running on hells fusion kernel, it has a built in bacem tweak.
If you test it on another rom/kernel, please share it here.
Here is a screenshot from my device running with hells fusion 50# + evo x3

[SCRIPT] Swap Xperia ZL/ZQ

Hello all
I have written a script to create a swap partition using /cache on our devices
Since the introduction of KitKat in our devices many people have complained about the overall speed compared to JellyBean using swap and able to give some HP`s in our devices!
Why use partition /cache?
By /cache it is an internal partition it and faster than a partition SD Card, and also do not have the inconvenience we need to format and partition the SD Card
I have used this script in KitKat sony firmware 4.4.2, and it works perfectly
I do not know if other roms use the partition /cache for other things then not sure if it worked, could someone who has the courage test and post feedback, aah, always keep a backup nandroid not work if you avoided headache
Confirmed working:
Stock and custom based in stock 4.3 and 4.4 roms, CM11
Use:
Flash 78swap via recovery (attached)
Download Script Manager via playstore
Open Script Manager navigate to the directory /system/etc/78script and open 78swap
Mark SU and BOOT as pictured below:

}
then
Press RUN!
He will create the swap file, wait a few seconds until you get a script and output in
Close it!
To check the operation download Terminal Emulator
type:
Code:
su
enter
Code:
busybox free
enter
you will get this output:
Adjustable:
By default, the swap size is 512MB, you can switch to the desired size by editing the script (use notepad++)
1 is equal to 1 MB!
Enjoy and press the Thanks button if you like! :good:

Worked in my ZL running 4.3
I have used this script in eXistenZ Ultimate Light & Dark v1.5.5, and it works perfectly for my ZL.
hi boss is this normal? Followed steps above and im getting this. Edited the file using notepad set the size to 20gb.
Used terminal to check and heres what ive got.
Thank you for your continuing support. [emoji1]
Thanks Gustavo. Not quite the difference that swap made on my Arc S, but a difference and much appreciated. I just copied it to init.d and run it with universal init.d because I'm lazy and it works well.

20GB and very large!
look at the total size of your partition / cache before setting the desired size ...
and is also necessary to delete the already created file before creating another
But I see it has run and is running!

So it is working right? Does this mean whenever i download a game all of the game data or obb files will go straight down to sd card? I chose 20gb because i inserted 32gb card. Im a hard gamer and big space is really important for me. [emoji1]
Or I may have misunderstood the functionality of this process. [emoji44]

This has nothing to do with moving apps to an SD Card. This is a scripts that allows additional memory to be used in the Cache memory section of internal memory to augment the phones internal RAM memory. Total cache should be around 540MB so anything over 512MB is rather futile.

you should use cache partition instead and add some code to symlink cache to data so there wont be any issues with it.
i cant find the adb and fastboot folder lol sorry
