I have a problem with my LG G3 D855 32GB
I bought one LG G3 in Switzerland, and brought it to Portugal. I bought the unlocked version, or I thought that was the unlocked version.
When I arrive to Portugal, he accepted the Sim card, but to not register, if I change the sim card it register using Roaming.
It is possible to lock the phone to the country?
Can you please Help me? I have the L version Firmware!
How do I unlock the G3 for the sim lock, or country lock??
I already bought a Unlocked code, but when I go to the hidden menu it says "permanent locked"

Well if it says permanent locked, your screwed.
Only possible to unlock via cable now, but i have no idea where. There a few unlock via cable sides, just google it.

So, I just bought a new G3 from my carrier Vodafone Romania and wanted to unlock it so I can use it with other gsm carriers when I'm abroad.
Before buying a sim unlock code I wanted to make sure that it can be unlocked. So I popped in an Orange SIM and it worked without asking me for a code. Then I tried the other method by typing in the dialer 2945#*855# and got "the phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".
How can this be? It's unlocked but permanently locked? Or this is the message you get after successfully unlocking?
Any insight will be appreciated.
I don't know if this matters but I'm rooted and twrp bumped on v20h

I'm from Europe and today I received an LG G2 (Tmobile) phone from a friend,but it seems that it is locked.I put my European SIM CARD and everything is ok when I start the phone,but I can't choose the MOBILE NETWORK option.I guess the phone is locked to TMOBILE USA. Is there a way to UNLOCK this phone for free and if not,which is the cheapest site where I can order UNLOCKING CODE for my LG G2? Is UNLOCKCODE247.com reliable website ?

I'm from Portugal and bought an HTC 10 wich is locked to T-Mobile.
Already got unlock code for it but i insert a portuguese network sim card and i never get the message to place the unlock code.
I checked the IMEI at T-Mobile website and it shows : Your device is blocked and will not work on T-Mobile’s network.
Already unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone, thought that would be enough to overcome the T-Mobile app ( wich is to unlock the phone for the network ).
Any tips or comments on how i can solve this issue and use the phone with another sim card?

I have a Sprint LG G5 unlocked phone. Was using another sim card from another company without a problem in Singapore while traveling till I got an android update. I did not know there was an asian version. Now my phone is locked again and Sprint says it is showing unlocked on their end but that there is nothing they can do until I get back to the US. They said the asian update does not recognize the unlock. Any thing I can do or do I have to wait till I get back to US to do UICC unlock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What firmware are you on? If zvb or below u can unlock yourself. If on zvc remote unlock from ebay is only current way
I bought LG Wing from USA T-Mobile variant and it says its permanently unlocked inside T-mobile app but when I put sim card, it says no sim card inserted. It never asks me for pin code so it looks to me it doesnt detect sim or something like that. I tried other sim card aswell but no luck. Any help regarding it?
Only you can if try to find lg wing sd765g firehose .

Have you found a solution? I have the same problem as you. According to T-Mobile the only problem would be a hardware issue
