Need your help to understand which parameters and it's values in Mixer path file are responsible for loudness plus quality of below items
1. External speaker for music
2. External speaker for calls
3. Ear piece speaker
4. Headphone Volume for music
5. Headphone Volume for calls
6. Internal mic gain for more sensitivity
Mixer file is responsible for sound related parameters located in etc directory of system partition

Very Low Ringtone Volume....

I upgraded to Black Shadow and the ringtones that came with it seems reasonably loud. But when i import mp3 or wav files to the "My Ringtones" folder, it's barely audible. IS there a way to increase the volume? I miss most of my calls due to low ringtone volume so i have no choice but to use the one that comes with it. Note* My volume is already in max and when i was using WM5, the volume bar was only halfway and it was already loud. And the way the mp3 or wav was recorded, its in a good enough volume for the WM5 but not for the cooked one.
anyone?
maybe editing the REG looking for keys.
I noticed different volumes in different roms...
there are some "keys" in the registry you can try changing - be careful!!
You can edit your sound file with a sound editor to increase the master volume of the file. It's what I did previsouly, and it's very efficient!

AudioX - Louder One X Speaker Output - CWM Flashable

Hi all,
Managed to put the AudioX settings into a flashable CWM.zip file.
Attached is the newest version which I have currently installed:
Disable Tru Bass effect.
Limiter set to 0.150 instead of 0.250
SRS3D Set space to 0.5 instead of 0.800
I decided to leave some of the limiter since having an uncompressed signal can harm the physical speaker.
This tweak means louder speaker output and no Trubass effect which is by default boosting the 400Hz area.
WARNING: I do not take any responsibility for broken speakers etc. When I tried the original edits the volume was so loud the speaker made some crackle noises. If you keep that volume level chances are you will destroy the speaker and then it will crackle even at lower volumes. The new version does have a softer limiter and the volume levels are good so I think the speaker is not in danger.
Attached is the AudioX.zip cwm installable and the Default_Audio_Settings.zip installable. If you don't like the result simply flash the second zip.
All the best

Modifying mixer_paths.xml to increase headphone and BT volume?

Hello,
in MIUI 9.5.13.0 Global ROM i found mitxer_parths.xml in /vendor/etc and also found Volume configuration settings in lines beginning from 1842 for handset (should be the upper handset speaker volume) and headphone beginning on line 1897.
Also, basic volume settings are given in lines beginning with 339 ff...
I didnĀ“t find any special settings for bluetooth volume though... my impression is that the volume via BT is quite low compared to other devices... does anybody know how that can be boosted?
