I’m trying also this rom. That appear really interesting.
1)Not so important ,I found that the clock don’t show the AM-PM symbols (nor after reboot and cache cleaned)
2)Maybe a little more important . The contacts.apk or the app designed to do that , cant import contacts from extSDcard. The pop-up search just in internal SD.
I tried to use the cyanogenmodX contacts.apk where this work but of curse contacts stop working at all.
About the clock...there is an option to do it, works fine here.
The contacs app dont have the feature you ask for...so you have to put your contacts backup in the internal sd for a bit....and then copy again to the external, its not that hard.
Im no longer working in dirty unicorn cuz the real devs are working on Lollipop and wont release any updates for kitkat...

Tnx ,
I have done exactly like you have said for the contacts in first instance.
The option for PM-AM was selected but nothing happen (rebooted and cleaned cache). Strange, i have flashed the rom 2 times after full wipe. Is not a real problem...was just for report it.
Thanks for the support.

Nope, clean rom. Nothing is installed over total-commander for menage the files as i like.
I learned that before i must test the rom for what it is and then put over it all the apps that i need and check all work fine before add more apps. In the past i have done the mistake to put a mess of apps that makes me crazy for found the reason of the FCs.
So , there is just the rom.
Or i select "small character", or i select "normal character" nothing change close to the clock. Also after reboot and cleaned cache.
I try just for to be sure the 3rd flash and was the same.
Have you maybe some suggestion on how to change the clock style? I mean in 24h format. also AM Pm is good but didnt work.
Is not so relevant but im trying to refine the installation for found a more definitive rom for daily use.
changing icon size feature?
thank you so much for this awesome rom.
I hv been using MoKee & nw permanently shifted to DU...
anyways.... i ws looking for changing the size of icons.cuz i m using 'L' theme whose icons r too big.
MoKee had option "USE SMALL ICONS"... do we hv something like that in DU?

Galaxy Note 2 Proximity Sensor Showing Dim Red Light
Those are not questions. Like before, just an advisory.
1) Settings>>>Dirty Tweaks >>> Lockscreen >>> Misc. Tweaks>>> lockscreen notifications>>> WAKE ON NOTIFICATION. This cause a dim red light remain active in proximity sensors during lockscreen.
This is absolutely reproducible and persistent. In clean rom and in modified rom.
This make me almost crazy. I thought was because the devil kernel. Someone speak about infrared , someone in stock rom about smart-stay and so on. But in this case the reason is totally different.
After have back-upped all the system i tried to put the clean rom just without and with devil kernel and nothing occur . So i supposed was a setting or apps matter. And I find it out.
2) Enabling the above WAKE ON NOTIFICATION make disabled also if selected the Setting>>> Display>>> "Notification light" . I had experienced that if you turn off and on , the notification light start work again. (with persisting of the ted light in lockscreen)

Yep, i suppose that. But in that case the sensor is not active. If I pass the finger on it nothing happen.
Is not , in this case, the wake-up of the phone related just to the incoming notification? Always In this case what is need for the proximity sensor?
If I miss some basic knowledge , sorry.
Ok, im using this rom from lots of time. I re-flash it many and many time. (after proper wipe of all the necessary). I can reproduce that the led for notification missed call didnt work properly. It reproduce every time on missed call a very fast double blink of the led (white as default) and hide definitively the light of the notification. The sms notification work fine.
I tried also the only one kernel that work with this version of rom. The Devil kernel. And this occur again (i tried to change some light parameter).
Damn more or less work all fine but not this simple feature.

Someone experienced something similar in CM11:

Should be interesting to know the code's procedure that make this occur.

Ok , I tried the CM11 , last nightly and i can confirm this .
Sorry people...I have a lot in my life...so I cant make new builds for this rom...there is a new v8.2 but I cant work on that (dont have the time) and I cant make a L version of DU for the same reason. But this is AOSP so if anyone want to do it...go on!
Cheers
This ROM sounds promising, however every other AOSP ROM gives error with Bluetooth phone calls. Can anybody confirm this works okay in this ROM please?
Gapps
Gapps link has a problem.
Couldn't get it to work properly
Tried everything to get it to work, kept on giving me two errors -Process com.android.systemui has stopped and - Unfortunately, Android keyboard (AOSP) has stopped on Android. Tried the 4 different gapps, cleared the cache and dalvik, did factory reset, nothing got me past the error messages.

What are the requirements ? I guess I should use the only recovery available for the device ? and also, since we don't have s-off working for this device I think we have to flash the boot.img right ?
I'd recommend using the recovery from this build for the job. It won't crash unlike the philz version.
And no, you don't need to flash boot seperately. The only requirement is an unlocked bootloader.
S-ON only protects hboot and radio from flashing so you can safely install this release from the recovery.
Don't forget to backup your current system.
I'm downloading the files now, will test and report ASAP
Can i promote this in 2 german Forums? ist German translation available?
when do you think you will fix wifi?
HUGE THANKS IN FORWARD FOR COMPILING CM!
After the experiment:
the Rom stable and fast, but Wi-Fi does not work and do not contain FM radio
Front camera not working
I wish you success in your work and I hope you update the version of Android to be higher than 4.1.2

Ah yes FM. It's included in the custom libaudio that can't connect to the speaker.
Which I currently simply replace with the stock lib to make it work as a phone so it can be used to test battery consuption etc.
Sadly the cm apps used for fm won't compile for me. So even if I get libaudio working FM would still be untestable without non cm apps.
I'll add it to the todo once the libaudio trouble is resolved.
The wifi is an annoying issue. I manged to get it to load the drivers so the p2p0 socket gets created.
But it tries to restart it as STA which if my google fu is correct it shouldn't do, since this firmware does not need restarting.
The front camera is a curious bug. It works absoluetly fine for me until I point it towards my face.
So it's either a problem with the proximity sensor or the nasty htc camera tries some facial recognition crap and dies.
If I ever decide to logcat the camera I can tell you more.
Now for a higher version, don't get your hopes up. At least not from my side.
First I'll try my best to fix this up. Then I'll wait for htc to release the kernel so I can get a closer look at the configuration
for this device and maybe adjust it to make this rom even better. Then again the last kernel I compiled was 10 years ago for a gentoo install.

If you are quick it will install fine. So if you prefer to live dangereously, don't let me stop you
I don't know if it is only an error that is presented on my device. Or maybe it was updated since then.
But for me philz recovery by SPSPawn does boot into a dead state. If you reboot it will crash until a panic reset is triggered.
Actually it is allready crashed while you are in recovery. Therefore you are on a timer until the device resets or you decide to
take out the battery.
I had the same problem on my build and it was caused by cwm always ignoring the ueventd.rc I had prepared because I didn't know
I had to copy it to root and not to recovery.
I've never bothered to figure out which missing element of this script was responsible because I had to substitute it in any case.
But honestly, tell me. Why do you prefer philz? I'm allready (so far unsuccessfully) trying to port twrp. If you have a few good arguments
I might be willing to try compiling a fixed version of philz aswell.
Well i didnt want to use a pc right now ... A TWRP port would be amazing
Is mobile data working?
Can you make your recovery flashable via cwm?

It always tried to download the google language pack for my region until I aborted it. So, yes mobile data should be available.
You mean put the recovery into an update zip thingy, right. Well I could, but you will have used a pc before I'll find the time to upload it.
I'll keep it in consideration for the next update.
Well, atleast internet
When do you think you'll fix wifi?
Regarding to wifi, it will be fixed once it's fixed. Or if you prefer the usual response: When it's done.
This will happen either after or before libaudio is fixed. And that's about as specific as I can get.
Well, it was worth a try still thanks for your effort!
Okay, here goes.
First I tried installing the ROM with the PhilZ recovery because I already had it on my phone, didn't work. Gave me some kind of error (not sure about the error code anymore). Flashed your recovery, worked flawlessly. Now for the ROM.
It's pretty stable, I've had only one strange crash and that was in the first 2 minutes of using it so I don't even know if it counts. The additional CM settings panel works fine, quick toggles are ok, I haven't tried overclocking yet - I'll leave that to someone else. But I have found some bugs:
-proximity sensor not working (screen doesn't go black when you place it up to your ear)
-ambient light sensor not working (auto brightness doesn't work)
-video recording doesn't work
-the camera app glitched up the first time I tried to zoom (was fine afterwards)
-sometimes when going from portrait to landscape I got 1 second of weird graphical glitches
-signal indicator seems to be stuck at 2 out of 4 bars and doesn't move
Overall very nice, keep up the good work!

No, you have to get gapps on your own. Since there are multiple options you can choose for yourself. But if you did not format system,
as I've mentioned in the install instructions, chances are high that google apps did get picked up by the install script.
I am not sure if it can take them from the stock rom but it can and will take them from a cm rom and keep them on reinstall.
(I am really not very pleased by this behavior!)
I also should have mentioned that the primary language is decided by the simcard. (Which is annoying since I prefer english in any case)

Wow. That's much more broken than I expected it to be. Kudos.
Regarding the sensors. I currently am using the stock lib. And logcat let's me assume that they are working as they should.
(i.e they don't crash or drift into madness afaik)
Maybe the stock lib doesn't play well with cm, or you are expecting features from cm that are not implemented.
I will definetly try to compile a working sensor lib in the future, so I guess we'll see....
Camera is also just the stock lib for now. So it's no surprise that somethings might be acting up.
I need a lot of research into that subject before I can specify the requirements for the camera in my boardconfig.
The graphical glitches are rather minor and can be ignored for now. I am aware they exist.
But for now I'd rather focus on the more prominent broken features.
Like wireless for those of us that can't or won't use mobile data. (I belong to the 2nd group)
I noticed the signal indicator aswell. but that should be a problem of the radio compatibility.
We can't flash radio and I'm using the stock libril as the radio interface which should give maximum compatibility in theory.
Of course it doesn't irl... typical -_- (I hate you, Murphy!)

The last build of your ROM that I flashed was from 12.03.2015.
Since then I have a problem with my recovery - When I want to reboot into recovery i only got a bugged and flickery screen.
Everything else works fine...
Is there an .img file I could flash with Flashtool or some other way to fix it?

But i do recommend that you flash the latest nightly

Hmmm, then maybe you should try flashing a separate recovery. They're here in the forum, just search for some
After that, just flash the boot.img
I assume it will not overwrite the new recovery, since it didn't overwrite the old one

ah I see what's happening.
This is actually not a bug. You can't install apps because the device recognized you as a bad guy :good:
KIDDING! this is not the real reason
This happens when you have an app that puts an overlay on the screen, like HALO from Paranoid Android.
To solve this, check what apps you installed, and uninstall/disable the apps that put an overlay on the screen. Then it should work :victory:
well...
i will try tomorrow and report back.

even the OVPN connection worked. and im on the latest PAC nightly

I don't think PiB will make a come back, because it's not needed anymore, due to the theme engine by CM. You should easily find good black themes in play store

I'm not sure if the tiles will return, but I'll ask the team and report back
EDIT:
So i did some digging, and it seems that using profiles will allow you to set network mode and sound mode , so you can setup profiles for each data connection mode and sound mode you want, them switch between them easily with the profiles tile.
profiles and next Q
ah i see: set a bunch of profiles ... very clever :silly:
ok. will try that.
next question:
i guess it is not PAC related but: how can i TOTALLY DiSABLE/REMOVE this second user / guest thing?
and can one give a logic solution, why i have to have such an option by default WTF!
i hardly see the advantage for LP compared to KK
the only thing ist about: animations, animations, design, material, animations
Hi! i am new to the forum and have a Letv Le 1 Pro US with stock malware Rom.
I want to change to CM12.1 ROM v3 by BetaHydri. But have a few questions. I am in doubt in rooting stock rom and clean the trojans and adware or changing to this custom Rom.
The rom in question is in this thread, but i can't ask there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/leeco-le1-pro/development/cm12-1-rom-betahydri-letv-1-pro-t3416651
1-My question is if the GPS works fine? In stock Malware Rom is very fast. I see some custom roms with gps problem.
2-4G data works well on Sim2? and Hotspot?
3-Is any major bug on this v3 Custom Rom?
4-How many free Ram is available? without installing other apps besides the ones that are in the ROM.
Thank You, especially the user @BetaHydri
i need your help too sir
cm-12.1-20160713-Bet…weakV3.zip501.1 MB , so the system just 500 mb?
now im still using eui with malware , so i just follow the installation step?
Tested V3 installation sequence
I went to TWRP 3.0.2 for a factory reset wipe
Installed ROM "cm-12.1-20160713-BetaHydri-CollapseTweakV3.zip"
Installed OpenGApps arm64 5.1 Nano
Installed all three ZIPs from DolbyAtmos Fix
Wiped Caches via TWRP
Rebooted
I'm on the V4, and actually everything seems good! Just have to test some sensors (Gyroscope)

System freezes when data connection switches to Edge
Hi All,
Using this ROM from BetaHydri, overall it works really good, however I have a problem that is getting annoying: whenever the phone switches to Edge from LTE/HSPA, the system freezes. As this can happen even in a staircase in an office building or on a train ride on the countryside it is rather vexing.
I have deleted the caches, but the issue persists.
Has anyone encountered the same problem maybe? Any ideas how to solve this?
Evaluation and some solutions
After some evaluation I can say this rom is really good.
There were some issues however:
I had sensors malfunctioning (gyro inverted). There is some discussion on this subject in Betahydri's developer thread, but I cannot post there as I'm considered a newbie by xda
Somehow the sensor calibration file (/persist/sensors/sns.reg) can get messed up. The trick is to delete the file, and on the next boot the system should replace it with the defaults, which are in /system/etc/sensors/sensor_def_qcomdev.conf. But this is not (always?) happening on this CM rom. What I did to resolve was to delete /persist/sensors/sns.reg, make a full TWRP backup, factory wipe, flash cuoco's 11s rom, start it, confirm if the gyro is working again, then restore the TWRP backup. Maybe there's a simpler way, but this worked.
I had a non-working notification LED. Wiping data in TWRP solved this, but I just had to find out what it was It turns out wiping the data of Settings Storage (com.android.providers.settings) was enough to restore the notification LED. The culprit is that there is a value in the settings.db of this component, in the system table called notification_light_pulse which was set to 0 somehow. Setting it to 1 with SQLite Editor (speed software) also solved the problem. There are more interesting values in this table by the way.
IR is not working, this is a known issue and I have no solution.
Double tap to wake does not work, at first I thought this would be a showstopper for me, but then I found out that with the Gravity Screen app, I can wake and sleep by using proximity and G sensors, which more than satisfies my needs for easy wake up and sleep.
OTG is not working natively, this can be overcome by third party apps like USB OTG helper. Could have something to do with fuse kernel modules not being available.
Volume level of ringer/notification is not calibrated, first step is already very loud and it doesn't change much if set higher. Does somebody now a solution for this?
I have dual SIMs and I could not switch one SIM to anything else than GSM only. Trick is to disable the other SIM, then set the network mode you want, and then re-enable the other SIM. There can be only one SIM for data, but somehow it wouldn't switch if the other SIM (that currently has the data) is still active.
If I find more, I'll post here.
Getting pretty bad battery drain. I went from 100% to 60% in a few hours and I didn't even use the phone, it was just sitting on standby

You can try to see what is happening with OS Monitor (from play store) In settings, enable expert mode to see the native Linux processes, try to find the one that is eating the cpu. I had this once, it was some media indexer process that would not stop (can't remember the exact name).
xposed
Hi all,
Since i cannot post in ROM's thread, i will ask here for your help. I am having a hard time installing Xposed on BetaHydri-CollapseTweakV4.
I get an error while fashing Xposed Framework xposed-v86-sdk22-arm64:
<<Xposed version: 86
! Wrong platform: arm
! This file is for: arm64>>
So i successfully flashed the arm framework (for 32 bit), for afterwards to install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4. But now i am getting "Xposed Framework installed, but now active."
Any idea? Thanks.
Am I am on TRWP 3.0.2.0 by CUOCO92, coming from Le1PRO_US_X800-ROW-PB-v60-CUOCO92-5.5.014S.
Hi all
I've got the US version and I'm with 12.1 v4.
I got only edge on data sim (the other is one only for calls)
Any ideas as I can't select any options but GSM from the hidden menu in *#*#4636#*#*?
Is it OK if I flash 14s Cuoco now as I'm in 12.1?
---------- Post added at 02:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 PM ----------
I just followed #slidetowipe and now I got LTE
T H A N K Y O U M A N ! ! !
It's interesting how the same phone works differently for different people... what I mean is that the GPS on my phone is very bad - it was bad from the very beginning with factory ROM, with MrRusch ROM, different versions, gps.conf tweaks, etc.... Now I am using an external bluetooth GPS receiver as the fix was painfully slow or non-existent. Some people report no such problems, how can that be, I wonder?
Now I use CM 12.1 V4 ROM from BetaHydri, But I found some bugs :
1. Error clock / alarm... If I choose setting or an alarm clock, appeared notification "unfortunately, clock has stopped"
2. IR isn't working
3. And I have a problem with the network 4G LTE, where the issue there is no on EUI ROM
Please help me to fix it.
To be honest I prefer premises EUI ROM if there is not malware and adware, Is there EUI ROM clean of Malware and adware?
If there are please help me to link from the ROM and the way instal rom, because I was new in using x800.
And I had experienced hard brick at instal couco92 14S.
Thanks
XenonHD ROM for Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
A Team Horizon ROM
Based on AOSP r36 7.1.2
This ROM has all the features XenonHD has to offer.
All hardware functions including:
NFC
Bluetooth Audio
Fingerprint Scanner
Doze & Wake-up Gestures (dtw works after the first reboot)
And...many more things.
Magisk is no longer built in, so you'll need to flash it when first installing, and after every dirty flash.
VoLTE doesn't work (at least on T-Mobile). I believe most of the pieces are in place, but there may be something in the firmware that's preventing it? If I could figure out how to tap into the stock cust files, I might be able to figure out how to get it working.
Proximity Sensor is working:
Notification Light:
I have slowed down the notification light so it isn't all amped up. To make it completely usable, go to:
Fixed default notification blinks for built-in apps so they are slowed down without needing to go to settings.
For use-installed apps, add them to custom notification list in settings > notifications > gear icon > notification light > + in upper right corner > select app. Apps added to that list will have slow notification blinks.
I simply cannot find a way to make user-installed app notifications behave the same as built-in apps. Grrr!!
I have also made the light sensor wait longer before dimming the screen. This helps with left-handed activities blocking the light sensor and almost immediately dimming the screen.
Reduced time to go back from dim to bright. Screen will dim after 5 seconds, returns to bright after 2 seconds.
I've remove configpanel & pocketmode...they did little to nothing, and may have caused more battery drain than I care for.
Required prior to installing:
Unlock Bootloader
Install custom recovery: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579490303
HUGE thanks to IceMan for bringing this to Mix 2!
A quirk with this TWRP: This one looks for backups in TWRP/BACKUPS/MIX_2 folder. Normally, the MIX_2 folder is named after serial number of your device.
So, you existing backups won't be found until you rename the folder in BACKUPS to MIX_2.
Installation Instructions:
Dirty flash is now available with the above TWRP and 10-26-2017 rom.
Download the most recent build: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329071426
Download Gapps (I use Open Gapps Mini) --> http://opengapps.org/
All versions from 10-24-2017 are now encryptable.
From TWRP Recovery:
IF COMING FROM MIUI-BASED ROM: FULL WIPE AND FORMAT DATA!!
If you encounter ERROR 7, during XenonHD install, install Global MIUI ROM, then do full wipe and data format again, then install XenonHD rom.
If coming from AOSP-based ROM:
- Full wipe (Cache, Davlik/ART Cache, System & Data)
- Flash ROM zip
- Flash Gapps zip
Huge thanks to Mokee for bringing this device up and making a great place to start.
Also a very HUGE thanks to @Arasthel for his work on proximity sensor and figuring out the bluetooth reboot stuff and other hints, suggestions and incalculable work.
I'd also like to thank all of you folks here for trying this ROM and providing constructive feedback.
In addition, I appreciate your patience when issues come up that need to be fixed. I am not a developer, and I have a full time job and a wife that takes precedence most of the time

THX for the ROM @hondajohn88 ,very much appreciated. :good:
Is this 1st release identical to the beta?
Just curious,as I tried to dirty flash over the beta & got the same errors as if coming from another ROM (wouldn't flash).
Is a full wipe (less formatting data) necessary if updating ?
I don't mind setting up from new again, even if just updating from the beta build.
However, wondering if incremental updates are going to be an option on future builds.
THX.

Oh yeah...I need to add that to the OP, for some reason, dirty flash won't work. There's a couple weird things with this build, one is I can't make a dirty build or it breaks Wi-Fi, and can't dirty flash. I don't know the reasons, but if I figure it out, I'll be sure to let everyone here know. It's an extreme pain in the ass.

It seems that we both have faced this issue. I just got A2DP working yesterday on Resurrection Remix by using sagit as base - without msm-8998 common and all that -, imagine my surprise when I saw you also did .
Anyway, I think the WiFi bug may be related to something going wrong in the build. When you build the ROM, kernel sources are used and you can see that the wlan.ko module is built. The problem is, wlan.ko is also a binary blob found in vendor. I believe that on the 2nd build, if dirty, one of these modules overwrites the other - which worked. Maybe you can test this idea, I will be doing it too on the next days.

That's cool you got the Bluetooth working on RR, knocking little things out one by one ?
Thanks for the idea on the Wi-Fi, I'll look into that this evening. Maybe there's a file I can delete before dirtybuilding. That would make testing things a lot faster! ??
By the way, does android auto work on your rr?
Everything except proximity sensor works and works as good as stock. I have installed custom font, black swift substratum OMS theme without any hiccups. The rom is buttery smooth and I've been getting a better battery drain trend on this compared to resurrection/mokee. I have naptime doze installed to see if i can ooze out more battery goodness to the levels of epic Rom(miui 9)
Overall this is super encouraging to see a daily driver rom this early for mi mix 2.
There is one edge case which might be a bug, when connected on car Bluetooth and watching something on YouTube.. And then you get a call, i pressed answer on the car knobs/buttons.. I couldn't hear the person talking.. Car was displaying "audio disabled message ”. But talking/call and video/music in isolation works just fine.
Android auto works for me. I'm on RR now. Might come to this if we can get Android auto working. How did you guys fix your Bluetooth audio on RR (we can move this to the RR thread if you prefer) @Arasthel

Thanks for the info about android auto on RR. I'll take a look at their repo and see if I messed up a USB setting somehow.
As far as I'm concerned, other ROMs can be discussed here.
Open source should be crowd sourced for maximum problem resolution.
RR probably (?) Did the same as me... Mokee made a commit in qcom/audio that did the trick.

Clean flash please, you don't have to wipe internal storage if you do that btw.
Ok clean flash done! Everything seems to be working great!
Everything is fast and smooth! I have not spend enough time for now to see if there is any unusual battery drain.
There is only one minor thing: I can't activate gesture navigation and disable hardware keys (I got used to it with the previous Pixel Experiment version ) Is there something I am missing here ? or should I just be patient and maybe hope for it in a future release ?

I noticed that isn't present also in Pixel Experience Android 11. Maybe it's a feature not implemented yet and we should wait. Because the Android 10 versions worked fine.

Everything seems to work fine, as in rock solid. Ive enabled Face unlock and have a couple of feature request for upcoming builds. Assistive light for Face un-lock, and while you're at it, traffic indicator in taskbar (plenty apps for it just a nice to have) and lastly, I like battery to show % in taskbar without the Icon (text only).

Thanks developer. I have a question
1) Is there a recent app menu like Oreo and previous versions?
2) Is there a smartbar navbar option within the navigation buttons
3) Will the two features I mentioned above be added in future versions even if they are not now?

I decided to do a clean install (dirtyflashed over YAAP before with everything working) just to make sure there was no issues with settings.
Two things came up after restoring all apps.
Android Auto has gone missing, it's installed on the phone but does not show up in the launcher (Nova or Pixel) I actually downloaded again from apk mirror and reinstalled but no difference.
Also, Nova no longer finds backups on the device storage? It does find backups on document storage.
All and any suggestions would be welcome, both of the above issues where not present after dirtyflash over YAAP???
