Hello Has any come across any mod that will allow us to use the Dolby sound effect using headphones on our G3? I've searched the thread but I found noting :crying: The standard effects "Pure Surround" and "QuadBeat" sound rubbish on my Beats headphones!

But in my experience beats are rubbish sounding earbuds . when I use my stock quadbeat they sound much better then any beats

If your rooted, I recommend finding Viper4Android. Awesome app. Lots tweaks for whatever device you connect to it. There is a forum here if you search for the thread

The beats sound awesome on my Ipod touch and on my G Pro with Dolby ... those preinstalled settings for Quadbeat and Pure Sound don't sound right..lol! BTW.. I have the Beats over-the-ear headset.. I love them ..but not so much on my G3...

Thanx man! I'll give that app a shot.. Anything to make the sound better on my G3... I've used JetAudio in the past but I think it's best on the PC only ...

Have you tried using a 3rd party app like PowerAmp? I usually don't use the stock music player when I use high quality headphones. (Actually, I NEVER use the stock music player)

Thanks for your suggestion I've tried PowerAmp, Neutron and Jet Audio Plus... If I had to install either one.. I'd go for Jet Audio Plus but I was hoping that the Dolby effect would be available on the stock player, just like my G Pro. Oh well.. I'll just have too download Jet Audio Plus again.. LOL !!

See the thread I quoted? The one that said Viper makes cheap 'phones sound like Beats? Beats headphones sound like crap to anyone who really cares about audio quality. They have unnatural, boomy, muddy bass, that just ruins the sound of good music.

Just I said, I focused to sounds with headsets and not will damaged with gio speakers

This is libaudio for enhache audio experience in your gio...it was ported from MegaBass Sony and Beat Audio HTC...install it and feel the difference from b4...

This's audio software from xperia and beats audio for boosting audio quality and specific to sounds with headsets and there's no settings......you knows about beats audio, so this isn't about launcher

It depends on what problem occours because most of times service flashes stock firmware so all modifications is gone then and it looks like out of a box

Its only APK that install drivers for your phone , but always make backup before installing , and you can remove it like any another APK
it didn't work with sound enhancement , when i tried to uninstall it i'm stuck on bootloop

Try headphones will be louder , i tried it and more quality and loud on my phone
It is just an equalizer... Get a real music player and good headphones...

V4A gives you whatever you want, if you cant get what you want from V4A, it means you cant set it correctly. There are at least thousand kind of settings, only for bass. What you are telling is impossible.
V4A is one of the best things on whole android world...Incomparable with any other music mods, without discussion.

Ofc that's your opinion. For me V4A bass, even with good IRS, are usually not so good like MegaBassBeats. This mod is amazing with Headsets and in combination with V4A

i don't activate any IRS (installed tons of them) except irs there are many options.
As you wish mate, you like this one okay than, nothing to tell, personal tastes.
And i didn't mention that this mod is bad. Just i sad, there is nothing that you cant do with Viper (V4A)

Tried this on cm10.1- Yup sound mod improves the bass however using it with apollo/ dsp manager- it rendered the equalizer useless (well to my ears). Shifting from the different sound presets, there were no difference at all from flat to rock to deep etc..

Hi there bro. I flashed this MOD in light by somin.n and how do I know does this MOD was working on my phone or not ? I can't really find the differences between before and after.

The original is pretty great, but sadly it doesn't support last.fm scrobbling. So, I use Shuttle +.

I've been using playerpro for a long time because it has so many settings and looks good with theme support. Just disable its own equalizer and it works great with Maxxaudio. You can customise it a lot and change album covers very easily.
I couldn't stick with Oppo music even though it looks good. It lacks features and doesn't have a widget! I use Nova so I need a widget.
I use PowerAmp.
Works great with MaxxAudio :cyclops:

I could never get PowerAmp to work well with MaxxAudio... The OPPO stock music player just sounds orgasmic compared to poweramp no matter what I do with the settings.

Poweramp + Viper4sound ARISE mod
I've tried reading into it but I can't find much on it. If anyone can explain I'll gladly listen. I've been trying for a few days. If not my viper 4 android setup will work for me. I just want the top speaker/or tweeter to be louder to assist the woofer to optimize sound.
Boomsound is closed source stuff, that's why no possibility to put on aosp. Use ainur audio and/or v4a or Dolby atmos. That might help

Nope, it's not only software. It's hardcoded into flinger and **** like that and that's why we can't port it that easily.

Wow htc is picky asf.
To add, the closest you could get is to take the ds1-default.xml from a Sense ROM, install one of the Dolby apps on XDA and paste the ds1-default.xml settings from the 10 into the appropriate spot for the Dolby app. You'll at least have HTC's Dolby configs by doing this
