Is this at all possible? Or a way to move the dots a little further up from the dock? They look entirely too squished against the dock.
Anyone else see it? It would look soo amazing moved just a little closer to the icons

Ahh dude this is a mixture of all kinds of icon packs lol. The dock is the note 4 icon and the rest is a mixture of moonshine and Lcons. Its taken me weeks to get a decent setup and I still can't find the right wallpaper to match.
And yeah I tried that. It can be changed to the slider but that just looks raunchy to me lol
It looks nice

I'm thinking this wallpaper matches a little better but the play store icon still looks off to me.
You can always remove them, use more/less icons or another scroll indicator.

Hi,
I saw some nice home screen design of Nexus 7, and it has modified app's icon.
How do you do that using the stock launcher?
Or is it not possible?
I remember that we can use "Desktop Visualizer" for example, but it is not compatible with Nexus 7.
The icon, that I got from the "Metro Station" is enlarged (see attachment, the one in the home screen).
My Nexus 7 is rooted if that can help.
But, I don't want to use other launcher
Thanks.
Unfortunately on the stock launcher you cannot change the icons or use any icon packs. If you want to, it would require the use of a launcher. I use stock but when I feel like changing it up a bit, I use nova prime. Performance is not effected at all. Its worth a try.

Please see the screen shot attachment in the first post.
I don't think it detects the Nexus 7 resolution and dpi properly.
Fyi, my launcher and all settings are still stock. No hack, no dpi change.

I use Metro Station for my icons. Apex launcher let's you change the icons and they look perfect... Well actually the Metro Station ones are a bit low res.

i made the dock icons using the icon base provided by dark matter icon pack found on deviart

Just use any other Launcher and you can change any icon to any .png file you find online or in an icon pack. Or use a good photo editor and make your own.

You don't need to use another launcher. You just need to root and change the .png files.

Yes completely transparent status bar like where your battery icons and wifi icons are. Pretty much gives you a home screen look without the black bar up top

Am i the only one who notices the bad transition lag from pressing app drawer while viewing blinkfeed? It happens when you install transparent app drawer. It happening now that I installed Dark Theme. I know someone else has to notice this, i've seen it do this on multiple phones, its very obvious when pressing app drawer and viewing blinkfeed with transparent app drawer installed.
--This is not a Dark Theme specific Issue this is a Transparent app drawer issue. I am 100% certain this is an issue and not just my specific phone, i've seen 3 different phones do this with the same scenario. And after removing transparent app drawer it corrects itself.
It may be in how app drawer was achieved, i have had trans app drawer since i rooted the htc one on sprint(and on the htc lte sense 5 port) and i have no lag when going from blinkfeed to app drawer and back

I second that ... No lag at all , make sure you're using the right tools and that the setup of them is good
I also notice that laggyness when using a Theme with transparent app drawer. (using TrickDroid)
I was wondering if anyone has come across the transparent accuweather widget anywhere. I used to have it on my galaxy s III because I found it in a "definitive/port" thread and I thought it looked amazing. Was also wondering if someone could cook something up for me since I have no clue on how to do it. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where exactly the S View Wallpapers are hiding? I have searched quite a bit and turned up nothing. I would also like to know where most items pertaining to the S PEN would be.. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I would like to start working on custom backgrounds for S View case as well as possibly adding more functionality to this accessory and features. Thanks.

Layouts and images for sview stuff are in framework-res.apk - that being said, it looks like there is only one image that is used for the "wallpaper", and it then is programatically colorized when you do the background picking...
As far as the guts that run it all - that can all be found in android.policy.jar. Happy hunting!
