I used it on g2 and was marvelous just flash it guys I was testing it for like 2 months and flashing countless build just to give you all stable build as can be

Good ?? , more tools for our device.
I'll test later, I'm looking for the kernel which have more performance about screen on hours.

So what are the features of this kernel?

Just installed it an hour ago on my 32gb mi5. My observations:
1. Cores r overclocked to 1.5, 2.0 ghz
2. No thermal control settings r enabled by default and core control is missing. I just enabled Temperature Throttle, just to be on the safe side.
3. I'm on aicp official nightly, and everything is buttery smooth.
4. No extra bells-n-whistles in this kernel.
Need to observe for a few days before concluding.

About Us:​Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.

After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. Wow..that's cool. Please make it for zool device. Also video recording is working for 720p in pixel and google camera that's great achievement. I guess Bluetooth bug is minor one and can be fixed in very next build.

I wanted to explain how to cook your own miui rom using Mi-Globe Builder.
First of all lets enter the mi-globe Redmi 5 plus/Redmi 5 page:
Mi-Globe Rom Builder For Redmi 5 Plus(Vince)
Mi-Globe Rom Builder For Redmi 5 (Rosy)
Mi-Globe Rom Builder For Redmi Note 5 Pro (Whyred)
Choose the base miui rom from the drop-down menu. Then click on expert setting. Thick the desired mods as you wish.

there are several groups around that modify miui developer/stable roms such as multirom.me / miui pro / miui su etc.
They mostly alter chinese original miui roms -cleaning chinese bloatware, adding multilanguages, rooting etc.-
Mi-globe team made this thing automated. That's it.
They don't have any support for non-xiaomi devices.

Mi-globe specifically is not an open source cause Xiaomi itself it´s not. This site only allows select a few mods, feature or app to be installed onto your device, build is just an euphemism.
Patchrom in the past was a good effort, I used miui in my old Samsung GN3, but I don´t mind that something similar happens in the future although this there are many devs porting miui for non-Xiaomi devices out there.

Mi-Globe is very nice, based on Xiaomi.eu ROM ! (The more you know)
Still waiting for them to update to the last China Stable for vince

Dude for a flash-a-holic, the wait time for unlock bootloader is truly brutal.
I am just reading up in all the threads to keep up to date and what not.

glad to hear that. some of the users here cant understand why im posting blind build roms . i just want to help this community to have more roms compare to poco f1 that were released lately and yet they had lots of custom roms .

Don't get discouraged dude. Development is a thankless job.
But not all of us are oblivious to the passion that you bring to the table.

I tried installing this, could not get it booted. I hope helps. But I couldn't get anything else booting either. Hope that helps too. Will keep trying.

I did make a guide on how to install pie roms for Mi8 here:
That guide should boot most pie ROMs, if not, something wrong with the rom.

This is CarbonROM for the MI 8. For those that follow us, you would know that we have been working since the hour the first Android 9.0 repositories dropped. The CarbonROM developers have been working on getting private builds up to our release standards - I am specifically working on feature bring up and creation. Like all ROMs, flash at your own risk.

When i was on LG phones, Carbon and AICP were among the top favorite. There might be slightly better ROMs now, but i still have those nostalgic feelings for both of them and would love having complete builds for the Mi8, but i'm just being selfish. There would probably be too many bugs for continued use anyway. I keep going back to modified stock, because all ROMs have their bugs/issues.
