I need help updating to android 4.0. I have been going trough pages and reading, but there is simply too much stuff that i cant understand. Here is the situation: I can't update to android 4.0 through kies. What i need to do?

I have rooted my phone earlier, installed custom ROM, and then installed android 2.3.4 stock firmware. Information above tells everything about my SGS2. I can't find android 4.0 firmware download links, or instructions how to even do it. I have odin, and before i rooted my phone i took this information up what my phone used to be

To be hones, i don't know what those even mean. I only know that now they are different, and because my CSC is wrong i cant update with kies. I installed application called CSC select and it says my CSC is KOR. I also read that it needed to be NEE(nordic countries), to be able to update with kies. How ever CSC select application doesn't have a NEE available...
I am pretty clueless what i needed to do now, would really apperciate if someone could give me some advice. I dont need my android 4.0 to be rooted.

Hi, I am much in the same position as you. I am still trying to figure out my options, and will post back if I get anywhere. In the meantime, can you please post CSC etc details of your phone? You can get this by opening the dialer, and dialling

Hi, i just buy online the one X, i just want make sure it this phone CHINA clone set ????
but i open the benchmark software ( AnTuTu ) to check it show its original HTC , brand is htc_asia_hk, cpu everthing same like original
I also can not change to the othe rom, due to can not turn to (HBoot ),
ps help to my problem.

never seen android 4.1.9 and if your phone doesn't boot to HBOOT, well that's a china clone! every one should have the HBOOT mode

To enter fastboot mode, you have to press and hold "power on" & "vol -" buttons at the same time. Try this combo.

Thats a fake phone, MT6577 is the CPU made by Mediatek, a cheap dual core CPU used on fake phones and many Chinee budget phones. If you run Antutu (not the one that came with the phone) the score should be around ~5500
Also there is no Android 4.1.9
Return it immediately~

Turn off the phone, press Volume Up + Power button.
I think its a china clone... S/n looks weird and android version should be 4.0.4 with ota update.... Do you have Sense on it or it came Pure android UI?

i found that all Note II has 4.3 and i couldn't connect to Samsung servers for update
is it really N7100 i started to doubt it ..
I have the same problem cannot connect to samsung kies except via wi-fi and the device info are the same like you and I don`t know how can I upgrade to higher 4.3 or 4.4 jelly bean. By using phone info app on google store the app detect that my device is refurbished and has no CSC country, product code is not active, show nothing in colour/Intrnal storage. Pls help
