[APP] Weather and News App ~GenieWidget~ from Galaxy S1

Here ist the GenieWidget.apk for Weather and News from S1 GT-I9000.
(You must have Root)
INSTALL:
1.Copy the GenieWidget.apk to you Phone
2.Copy and Paste with Rootexplorer or other the GenieWidget.apk to System App
3.Thats all
"Upate 15.012013 - fix apk"

Hi, I have not tested this app on my device, and at the moment I can not do it. Thanks for your understanding. I was just happy that cheech01 it offers. Maybe he has a solution for you.

Hi, ok I have downloaded the GenieWidget.apk and my winrar say also this file is corrupted. I send now the message to cheech01 for a fix. Will not be the problem

i am using UHD 3.0.2 the host files look the same compared to stock ICS host files :/

Sorry couldnt reply before had to go somewhere
Go to System/etc/
Find a file called 'hosts'
Edit it (copy it to sdcard jst in case for a backup)
Edit the one in System/etc/ (not the backup)
Erase everything and just post this
"127.0.0.1 localhost" (without " )
And hopefully it will work
Reboot after editing

Downgrade to 3.0.2
I dnt thnk the host files is causing the FC's
Sum ppl complain that 3.1 beta causes FC's in sum apps

Everytime I try to download the zip file by clckin on the download link you have mentioned, I end up coming to the below page in the attachemnt...
Please dont tell me I have to now download the Third party Download tool for this???
Because I am not getting any zip download prompt anywhere...

Ohh man its a poped up another website..Turn on pop up blocker...And then go to the link..It will show only DOWNLOAD option! Not like as that in screenshot
