[Q] Lollipop status and navigation bars. - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering if there was a way to get the status and navigation bars from Android Lollipop on my LG G3. I've searched through Google and all the options say I need Xposed which I prefer not to use since I'm currently on ART. I though maybe there would be a zip file that I could flash instead.

The androidNow HD ROM is great and supports it, you should try that.

[Q] Does Percentage Enabler work for you?

I am trying to use this app to enable battery percentage inside the icon (instead of displaying it on the side). Many people report that this app works for them on both KitKat and Lollipop, without root.

Does it work for you? I am on D855 running Lollipop (V20E) and can't get it to work.
Tried it on 20f also not working
that app does not work on my lg g3 5.0. What is the problem? How to fix this

Lock Screen Settings Question

I have the file to add more screen unlock effects on the KK version of my G3. You put the file into the priv-app folder and install it and it gives you a whole lot more options for the screen unlock effects. Is there a way to get this to work on the new LP? I really don't like the 4 stock options that LG gives you. Was also wondering about custom nav bar buttons? I had some on KK that were made by H.P. Tesla but they don't work on LP now. This kinda sucks.

Question about z00d

Hello.
Sorry if this is the wrong subforum, as I am new to the forums.
I have a question about changing my notification bar and status bar.
I want to make them look like stock lollipop but I dont want to make anything else look like stock.
So the question is how do I do that?
I found material status bar but it is very buggy, it doesnt show my phone reception correctly, is slow, and the wifi sign seems to dissapear, also you can't rearrange the shortcuts on the notification bar.
I can't use CM as it is not availible on ze500cl(Z00D).
I currently use Nova launcher.
My phone is rooted.
Thank you for reading.
Bump.

Replace with stock signal icons

Anyone have a way of replacing the ugly data icons with the Android stock ones?
Why moto continues to do **** like this baffles me.
Root your device, install Xposed, install gravitybox module, change your signal icons

Use this link: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.s0bes.letsbethelongestpackagename.motocheckbox
This is an Xposed module through which one can use AOSP data icons in the status bar.
Also it showcases many more functions. Been using it to get rid of them ugly data icons on my Moto X 2014 running Stock Marshmallow.

How are you installing the xposed framework? I installed the installer in the link you shared, but when i open it and go to the (Framework) tab, it tells me...
"xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK version 23 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a)
Cannot link executable: library "libdvm.so" not found
Edit: I just figured out why it's not working. The description says it's only compatible with Android 4.0 - 4.4
I found a version for marshmallow. I'll try it out a little later, it appears to need to be flashed manually via recovery. I still have the stock recovery.

Yep, you need to flash the framework file for your architecture type using TWRP or some other custom recovery and then install the latest Xposed framework apk file.
Check out forums for more help , before doing anything drastic to your device.

It's incorrect. You need the arm.zip version. The 617 is a 32-bit chip.
Thread cleaned.
Less of the OT and argument please. Respect the thread topic and take the debate elsewhere.
I installed AOSP Signal Icons Xposed module and worked fine for me, now I have the stock signal icon and it gets the dark variant (there was a bug on Motorola's Stock Rom that didn't let it be dark)

[Q] Is there AOSP Marshmallow theme/icon pack for LG G3

I'd like to use stock icons on G3 if that is possible.
No root, no custom rom, no custom recovery.
Is there any icon pack/theme I'm unable to find or there is none?
EDIT:
I'm on 6.0 MM

If I remember correctly a number of icon packs from the Play Store would show up as themes from within the ROM. It's been a really long time since I've run a straight stock ROM so maybe my recollection is off.
I'm currently on a debloated stock ROM where icon packs don't work (so using Unicon via Xposed for icons). When I was on Nimax Marshmallow icon packs worked via the ROM's theme settings.
If you have the LG Smart World(?) app I believe it may have some icons packs. By the way, you don't say what Android version you're on. KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow?
LG G3 D851, Clean ROM v3.2, NanoDroid (microG), MultiROM, XDA Legacy
