Q. Hello guys, this is my first time here and I hope experienced users would be able to guide me. Firstly I recently bought a Micro SD Card of 32GB for my Nokia XL however I am not able to install apps on the external memory card nor can I move them to the external memory card. Now I know that to do this, I would need to root my phone. The easiest way was to use the Nokia x Manager which apparently is not working anymore with the newest update of v. 1.2.3.2
So can someone please guide me as to how I can root my Nokia XL since I've already updated my phone to the above version. Space is becoming a problem for me and I really want to install some apps on the external Memory card. Thanks in Advance.

No problem, the fact that you're trying to help even though you're english is not good. I appreciate it. However the bad thing is that I have read that many people can't seem to root once it has been updated to the latest version (1.2.3.2). So I am worried about that part other than that - thanks for the memory part, too bad I can't do the step until I finish the rooting of my phone. I don't want to damage my phone :/

Sorry bRo you can't root your mobile without pc
The only way is root it with Nokia X Manager by Angstanly

Hi everyone,
I know i'm an annoying noob but i'll try and spit out my (common) problem on my (uncommon) device.
Playing with my olivetti olipad 110, i think i made it stuck in APX mode (since my win computer always recognizes it as such when i plug it in and turn it on).
I saw a lot of guides for flashing a lot of devices, but nothing for my device.
Is there any chance of getting it to work somehow, maybe making it quit the APX mode and using the normal bootloader?
Anyway, the only resource i could find online, is the links to download the OTA updates for the device, but i cannot paste links here
Any help would be really appreciated, before i send the device to maintainance.

Well, if you have tried installing HTC drivers and still you don't see it, then the best solution would be to install Windows on a virtual machine...
Hi, I like to buy Nokia X but 1st I just one question, I have office suite apk and I install it motorola and samsung device, can this apk install and work in Nokia X??? Any apk can install in Nokia X??? or other any tweak or hack needed???

I have a nokia xl now for four months, and i don't have a computer to root it with nokia manager. Still see zain do it with framaroot on nokia x, i tried on my xl but in vain, it showed a 7# error with framaroot 1.9.3.
Please help me sort it out.

try the kingroot app
i couldn't find a partition for HTC 816G here in xda developers forum.
anyway i got my mom a new phone realized that HTC 816G is completely different from HTC 816.
it's my first time dealing with flashing/rooting HTC - used to samsung only - so any tips needed to know ? what apps should i use , customs .. etc.
if anyone can provide me with a tutorial for flashing.
can i flash cm12 of HTC 816 on the 816G or not ?
i have a problem with it , low memory and low storage - that's why i need to move apps2SD- needs rooting i guess.

I have also got HTC Desire 816G , for adding any custom roms u need to root it first.
Use iroot for pc to Root ur device.
Also note that cm12 is not available for htc 816g and do NOT use cm12 for HTC 816 .
Even I have problems with low internal memory so if anyone can us then it would be great .

about iroot , is it safe to use ?? i read many posts saying it's a spam.

No it's not a spam i have used it to root my 816G or u can use kingo root both were working fine.

tried to use iroot and kingo root but failed on HTC 816G and succeed on samsung s3 ! :/
