quick "possible dumb" question

Hello all, i have a quick question about my note II that i just purchased. Im currently living/vacationing in bangkok and bought the phone at the mbk mall, for those of you who have been know how crazy/shady the place is, they sold it to me as unlocked but i noticed the data wasnt working so i asked them about it and they quickly ran off to another stall and came back with it working. They ended up rooting it and adding the networks apn to get the data to work and all is well now. Back to my question, id like to know which of the mod section belongs to my phone as ive nornally rooted each android device myself and would hate to have anything happen to it as im sure the people that sold it to me would not help me in any way. Is it the G note II section or original note II section? The phone is a GT N7100 from france

Yes i know that much, i guess i should have made myself more clear. What section do i go to for roms for the gt n7100 as the note II section has more roms/kernels then the original note II section

Both orig and dev section have roms.
Original contains roms build from source and kernels and other things.
Dev section includes mods and roms based on other roms like most roms based on samsung or a port or sharing something.

Edwin mine too is from france open line bought in cambodia black market. Just read here in xda and youll learn a lot

either. as previously stated, the only difference is whether the rom is orignal (built from source) or based on another rom (stock TW and its variations.)

Where to ask for testing

I have made an application and I would like it to be tested on Android 4.3 (leaked version for Samsung Galaxy S4 is available).
Can I ask for testing in Galaxy S4 Q&A forum?

Probably the S4 Themes and Apps forum would work. Or the Android Games and Apps forum if it would work on more than the S4.

[Q] Reason for MIUIv5 threads being closed?

Just curious if there is anyone that can share why the MIUI threads are all closed? I just started using the MIUIv5 posted in the Development section and I'm in love with it. I guess I'm just curious to see if there will be further development on any of the MIUI ROMs, especially the MIUIv5 ported from the GS4.

There are several threads on this already but apparently the developer was just tired and it was no longer fun for him. So he's taking a break.

Leaked 4.3 from Samsung for Note 2

Hopefully someone can implement this to work for our T-Mo variants of the Note 2 International edition.

Theres a few threads regarding 4.3 leaks. And some are already running TW 4.3 Roms on the T889. Jusy gotta look at the other 4.3 threads.

C'mon Mr Hofs! You should really be more supportive of the devs whom tries their best to port over AOSP rom for our hox

No i dont. I don't see the need of such a thread. Why don't we make such a thread for every rom and call out to support the devs. Xda would be loaded with this.
...if you want to support the devs you give info and input about the rom in the specific dev thread instead of making polls/unnecessary threads in the general section.
Such a poll will probably only lead to some sort of rom comparison thread because one day there will be someone who posts here that he thinks that rom A is better than omni because ..... etc etc etc.

A thread for Omnirom already exists in Original Development. Thread closed
