Afterwards, at the top of the Developer Options panel, toggle off the Developer Options so that you can't accidentally turn this on again.
If you ever need to get to the Developer Options: Settings > About device, then tap on the 'Build number' setting until a toast tells you Developer Options has been enabled.

Since this afternoon I have very frequenly a sort of flicker, but than as a red border around my whole screen.
How can I remove this?
(can't get a screenshot, since this flicker goes to fast)
I'm pretty sure this is a Development option
Settings > Developer Options > untick 'Strict Mode Enabled'

It happens with my One X too. 'Strict Mode enabled' is untick only. Still I can see red borders. What to do?
Im not sure when it happened, but the sliding brightness toggle from the notification screen is gone on galaxy note 2 running 4.1.2. model number SGH-I317
Build # JZO54K.I317MVLBMA3
Does anyone know how to add it back
Did you turn it off in settings?

Did you check under Settings > Display > Notification Panel ? You should have a checkbox there saying 'Brightness Adjustement'.
Is there a way I can choose which notification shows up on the lockscreen? Specifically I want to have only one app show notification on the lockscreen, but not others. In order to do that I have to disable notifications of all other apps. But I want other apps to show notification in the notification bar, just not on the lock screen. Any way to do this?

On nougat, theoretically yes. Go to settings -> notifications. Then click the settings gear at the top. Should give lock screen notification options of all, hide sensitive content, hide all.
I think you can hide all here, then go to the individual app you want to show, and change it to show for that specific app.
Never tried this myself. Ymmv.

Once I choose "don't show at all" under settings - notification, I cannot enable notification on the lockscreen for specific app. However doing the exact opposite might do the trick. Under settings - notification, I choose "show all contents", then for specific app, I can choose "don't show" on the lock screen. This is very tedious, but it might do what I want my phone to do...

Once you clicked don't show notification at all, click on a app or game that you want to display the notification in lockscreen.
Then click "On the lockscreen" then "show all notification content".
Hope this helps you.
Seems to have disappeared.
Anyway of re-activating this feature?
Anybody?
If you mean for it to show in the notification panel then go to' 'Samsung Health' > Three dots (top right corner) > 'Settings' > 'Notifications' > and turn on 'Current steps'. This worked for me, but if the feature is enabled then may have to do more digging.

Yeah, I am but I still have this feature? It should be there unless, like you said, they removed it through an update either through Android OS or the application itself.
Go to app info of samsung health
Notifications
Enable current steps.
I personally disabled it after one ui because I prefer it in a form of widget...

I think that's easy for you to reset back to the original, isn't it?
Turn "Developer options" off
Turn "Developer options" back on
Wouldn't doing just that reset them all to the original options?
I could do that for you but then I'd lose all my settings, so my 16 screenshots below are on my Samsung Galaxy A325G Android 12 as they are set now.
Bear in mind that many of the options have sub options, particularly if you long-press on them (which makes the number of screenshots a lot!).
So I included an extra couple of screenshots to show you the sub options of the new Android 12 "Developer options" "Wireless debug" sub menu, by way of example.
Also note that some of the Developer options below have "Samsung" in the name, so I can't tell you what you'll find on your brand of phone if it's not a Samsung (I didn't look you up as I generally answer for everyone and not just the OP so that we all benefit from the dialog).
Also please bear in mind the Developer options" are different based on the Android release (e.g., between Android 11 and 12 Google moved "Mock location" from around the middle to the very bottom and they added "Wireless debugging"), my point being you should probably state the version of Android that you're on in your request.
