[Q] Micromax A67 Custom Rom?

Hello Sir,
Is it possible to upgrade Micromax A67 from Android v 4.0.3 to Ice Cream Sandwich to Jelly Bean. It is a good low budget phone, but a pity that it uses the old Android Version.

Kernel Version: 3.0.8

This phone comes with Android 4.0.3, and a bunch of crappy pre-installed apps. I've used custom roms downloaded from this website on other mobiles, they're good! Too bad no developer wants to do it for this handset.

If ur prblm is only app then u cn uninstall them by using link2sd. Bt u need to root ur device.
N plz do not uninstall app if u dnt knw which one to uninstall. Becuse it may brick ur device. So do this @ ur risk. Go google n srch more for ur device.
Bfore doing any thing take cmplt backup.

Well, still cannot root my handset. Also, would like to run JellyBean instead of this outdated ICS on my handset. Project Butter for one, makes all the difference!

dude I am having the same problem I am also having micromax A67 bolt company hasn't provided oem driver for my phone so I cannot connect it to computer and also the recovery keys are not working on the phone

Micromax Bolt A67 isnt entering into download mode
MMX bolt a67 is not entering into download mode
I have also tried many ways to enter but it doesnt
I also Pressed volume down+home+power buttons together then it comes to a screen and showing an android logo and a exclamation mark over it.
And nothing happens after that....pls suggest me a way to enter into download mode

For rooting you can simply use an app named framaroot. Your phone will get rooted simply without any trouble.
And have a look towards a universal rom i found while googling.
I also have a mmx a67 and I am also facing the same problem.
Rom looks promising I haven't tested yet. Please let me know if you install it.

kitkat has released for blu life mobiles and we can use for be loved canvas 4 and for all mtk devices

Its Micromax's Official stock Rom.... It quitely faster rom than previous one....the device boots quickly than before...animation at starting the device is faster..

no issues i just got to know you can use any song as bootaudio if you rename it as bootaudio.mp3 and set permissions to RW-R-R

Kitkat update leaked for MMX Canvas 4 A210

Micromax is caught testing Android 4.4.2 KitKat on Canvas 4 A210.
As the May has just started there is only one month left for the quarter 2 to end, so we can assume that Micromax can announce KitKat till the end of this month.
Now the recent leak confirms that The Indian Manufacturer Micromax was found Testing Android 4.4.2 KikKat in its Canvas 4 A210 Smartphone.
On 7th of April 2014 Micromax has uploaded official KitKat 4.4.2 for the Micromax Canvas 4 on the Moulnisky.com which is under this path :
Index of . / downloads / Micromax / 00_A Serie / A210 / SW Versions / V17_050414(Beta Testing password protected) /
and the file name is :
A210_KK_S9111B_MP_F2F3F5F8_B1_IN_MMX_17_FLASHER_USER.rar.html.
It is seemed to be update package for MMX Canvas 4 which can be flashed easily by SP Tools, however the file was password protected but through this we can assume that KitKat in Canvas is not to far.

Xda member Akash sky is saying that the update will arrive before 5th of june and for most of the device's it will be done via OTA. So lets wait till then.

I think only some minor changes will be there because I have seen the micromax canvas engage a091 there are not a lot of customizations it runs on stock android Kitkat 4.4.2 with some micromax apps pre-installed.

No Kitkat yet , july about to end but still nothing micromax is sleeping

Give some time bro in the video micromax ' s CMO told that they will start rolling the update from July. One day we will get the update of Kitkat. Let's wait till the first week of August.

I recently bought canvas L A 108, with kitkat rom. Thire is an app called "mad app" which pay talk time while watching add.
So i tried to install it on my old canvas 4 phone but It does not install on canvas 4. It worked on canvas 2 but not on canvas 4. Im on stock rom, and i didnt recive any upadte of v3 over thw air.

I was on funtouch os by nero d but flashed buzzrom by pranjal which is basically stock rom v3
And therefore i was able to install it properly .the mad apk works fine on stock v3 .nobody recieved any update over the air for v3 .you will have to manully flash it via sp tools

this is strange it worked on mine though
can you try flashing purexperia or buzz rom and try
it should work on them
if it still does not do not waste your time on this app rather try mcent
it is much better to get talktime
