I have a lg g3 D-851, when I rebooted it the led lights keep flickering from blue to green, It started doing this on the sky dragon ROM so I switched ROMs to see if it kept doing it and it didn't at first but I rebooted the phone this morning and it started doing it again. Butbwhen I plugged it up the charging LED kicked in and stopped the blanking but if I restart or turn the phone on or off or pull the battery out it starts up and starts the blinking. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'm running a stock EVO and yesterday the phone decided to shut off on me. Right after the screen went blank the phone vibrated five times and the led on the front of the screen began to blink green until the battery was pulled. Now every time I try to boot up the phone it will start up just fine and at exactly 2:14 of awake/on time the phone will freeze, go black and vibrate five times then the flashing green led. I have no idea what is going on with it. Anyone else experience this issue?
I was watching a movie while charging my HTC Desire and at once it started vibrating and the screen was black also the charging LED was gone.
After like 20 seconds i pulled out the battery, did it back in and tried to boot it but nothing no screen led sound vibrate nothing.
I'm not sure wich radio i'm running i gues the last one (Flashed the newest as posible a month ago).
At the moment it happened i was running the latest MiUi (1.8.19)
It scared the hell out me and i'm not sure what todo now, i hope anyone can help me on this one (Also i checked the power there is nothing wrong with also all devices on the same net was the TV and my phone charging)
Edit1: Oke i figured out that if i put it on the charger the charging light goes on, then i try to turn my phone one the charging light is off for 5 seconds then it turns on again (Phone still doesn't work), When i take out the battery and hang it on my pc and try to turn it on the led blinks like orange green orange green and it keeps going also my pc doesn't react on the phone plugged in the USB
Thanks.
I was trying to flash the Lifeless rom back onto my phone, and had Aroma wizard started up, and was checking the options I wanted, when I remembered that absentminded me had forgotten to do something in the OS that I can't remember at the moment. I didn't see a cancel button in Aroma, and since I'm so impulsive, I held down power and volume up to reboot the phone. It nearly booted to the OS, with the capacitive keys lighting up at the bottom, when it suddenly shut off and attempted to reboot (maybe because I was flashing AC!D audio earlier and had checked the build.prop tweaks). It didn't reboot, but seemed BRICKED.
Ok, the actual problem.
It seemed totally hard bricked to me, nothing when I plugged it in to my PC or charger, so I, enraged, walked away and left my Optimus plugged in. When I came back, I saw that the notification light was blinking red, one shade of red brighter than the other. I gained some hope back by...
The FIX
... following the directions on YouTube (look it up, I can't post links) on performing a hard reset by disassembling the phone and disconnecting/reconnecting the battery connector. I, however, had to do a little twist to get my phone to PARTIALLY boot.
When I detached the battery connector from the mainboard,(phone still plugged in) the phone would proceed to bootloop, showing up the unlocked Google screen, etc. (flashed the ZVB Teenybin, that's why the Google screen) until it got to the battery charging icon in the center with the lightning bolt in the center. At this point, I reattached the battery connector and BOOM, the phone rebooted NOT LOOPING , PARTIALLY STILL but with the battery icon animation stacking up.
Unfortunatly, my battery was nearly dead so I then waited for a bit and let it charge up.
I held down the power button + vol up (on my bare phone with the backing taken off) to get it to boot into fastboot, then TWRP to flash the rom. I SUCCESSFULLY flashed the rom (relieved at this point) and I booted FULLY  . It got me to the Optimizing apps numberhere/biggernumberhere screen. Suddenly, the frickin phone shuts off and the notification light blinks red, but with a delay this time instead of a brighter shade of red. I did what I did before numerous times, but the phone would stay alive less and less.
I let the phone cool off for a bit (Heating issues on the Optimus ), tried charging it again, and I managed to finish optimizing my apps. It loaded up the lock screen for a split second, and then shut off with the LG goodbye animation.... Which is a hell of a lot better than a blinking reset light.
So after it shut off I let it charge...
And I was back!
NOTES:
The video I describe was originally made to resolve some other reset indicator, with alternating blinking capacitive buttons and the notification light, but also helps with the issue I had with solely the notification light blinking.
I don't think that anyone has had this issue since not really anyone is retarded enough to force reboot with Aroma loaded up.. but I decided to type this up just in case.
So my HTC One M9, Verizon, for the record. Stock ROM, stock everything-- no root, was working fine up until the other day. These two things might be unrelated, but I had a weird vignette on my screen, along with white lines only on the edge of my screen. I turned it off and when I woke up it was gone. However, I started having issues with charging. It wouldn't charge, recognize on my computer, when on. I let the battery die to do a calibration, and strangely enough, ONLY WHEN the phone hit 0%, would it start to charge again, this is when the phone was off. I charged it to 100% and turned it on. If I tried go past the lockscreen and do anything funky, it would stop working (disconnect and reconnect a couple times before stock working completely). If I stayed at the lockscreen and kept it off it would remain charging at 100%. Disconnect it and take some pictures, it won't work.
I've gone to 0% two times, and that seems to be the only way to get it to charge, offline or off.
What's going on here?
Alright, so I shut it off at 95%, and it's currently off. I plugged the charging cable in, and went I went to check it later the LED indicator was flashing orange. Now, if I plug it back in it will flash "charging for a second" then go back to the orange blinking.
EDIT: I did it again and now it showed the charging symbol and is charging like normally, and indicating 92%. The charging LED is now a solid orange.
EDIT EDIT: "The led flashes orange as a warning that the device is overheating." Is that why it works when off and completely cool and when I try to do anything that "heats it up" it stops working? I've also read; "Battery level is very low." Weird.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: Leave the screen off/sleep mode it starts to charge.
my daily driver LG G3 just self bricked
phone was left on in airplane mode when leaving work, when came home I left it in airplane mode
before going to bed I looked at eBay but in the middle of using phone the screen slowly faded and went black without any low battery warnings. Thinking the battery was low I plugged in phone to charge, red light indicated phone was charging.
The next morning light shows solid green, full charge
pressed power on button, instead of booting the screen lit up showing that phone is already turned on
yahoo mail app showed something like allow access to your contacts I clicked no
Android system briefly shows a message 'uh-oh, something went wrong'
screen fades to black, pressing power button will not bring it back
pulled the battery
now on power on LG then T-Mobile logo shows, but after that just black screen
green notification button blinks twice.
pressing power button, plug and unplug usb power does nothing.
plugging phone to linux PC it shows LG phone but when mounted usb folder shows nothing inside (usb debugging not turned on, phone is stock not rooted).
