Enhanced recent apps tweaks for ViperOne M7 7.0.x
V2 is available to download from Venom Hub now
Same link as before so if you already have V1 installed just download and flash again for V2
This mod brings yet more firsts for Team Venom as for the first time on any Sense ROM we have added full ports of both SLIM Recents and the very latest Android L-style card stack recents from ParanoidAndroid (Beta 5) along with a whole host of additional tweaks and enhancements. And now in V2 we have gone even further with a full port of the Task Manager from the latest MIUI M7 ROM (KK Beta 2.0) including for the first time on any Sense ROM the superb background blur effects from MIUI! You'll find the new tweaks at the bottom of the Misc tab in Venom Tweaks just below the awesome Volume UI tweaks we also added recently!
As this mod includes major revisions in many framework jars and system apks flashing it WILL break certain parts of any theme you may have flashed until the theme devs catch up with the new files. Likewise if you flash a theme AFTER you have flashed this mod it could cause SystemUI FCs - you have been warned!
SLIM Recents tweaks include:
Configurable panel size - 6 options
Option to show on left or right side of screen
Configurable background colour
Configurable recent app card colour
Configurable recent app text colour
Option to select whether recent apps cards always appear expanded, compressed or auto
Option to show/hide current app
Android L Recents tweaks include:
Configurable recent apps card header colour
Configurable recent apps text colour
Option to show Clear All button - does not show if card size set to 100%
Option to show Clear All button at top or bottom of screen
Configurable card stack size - 5 options
Android L Recents scaled to 85% with Clear All button shown bottom right
MIUI Task Manager features include:
Swipe up to dismiss app
Swipe down to lock app in memory
Long press for direct access to Application Settings
Animated clear all button with confirmation toast message
Background blur effect
MIUI Task Manager Theming
OK, as the resources used for the MIUI task manager icons don't lend themselves to being able to apply a colour overlay (due to the gradients and transparencies involved) I've put together a zip based on the one @Basil3 created for the Hangouts theming in the Hub. It is basically an aroma zip which allows you to set the colour of the regular memory level indicator, clear task button glow and lock app icon. It uses the Villain Theming system to inject three new pngs into the correct files in SystemUI.
Available colours are:
Blue
Faded Blue
HTC Green
Orange
Red
Pink
Purple
Return to original
Download the attached theming zip and flash in recovery as many times as you like
Please note that whilst everything in SLIM Recents works perfectly there are a few minor bugs in the Android L recents which you should be aware of. Occasionally when you open the recent apps panel it will be completely empty - just close it and open it again and it will be fine. Secondly, even though I have included the clear all fix in V2 it usually still leaves behind the most recent app. I have already spent hundreds of hours porting and tweaking these mods and don't intend to spend too much more time chasing these bugs. IMHO Clear All shouldn't be used anyway as it is not how Android multitasking is supposed to function! Although I have to admit the MIUI clear all feature is pretty cool
21.11.14 - Version 2
Added MIUI Task Manager
Fixed bug with clear all apps in Android L view where context menu would show and screen would freeze
SLIM ROMs for SLIM Recents
ParanoidAndroid for Android L Recents code base
LiquidSmooth for the Clear All button tweaks
MIUI for MIUI Task Manager and background blur effects
@Basil3 for the template for the MIUI theming zip
Awesome work!

Ok all, zip is live in Hub now! In the Addons>Misc section. Don't forget to rate it. FYI, we also just upped a hotfix zip to fix the missing volume slider dots and high volume warning bug in MIUI volume. You can find it in the Hub in the Addons>Hotfixes folder.
Enjoy!

Using any particular theme or Xposed mods as well? Mod was tested extensively by the M7 beta team before release with no issues, so must be something else in your setup.
Love it
Working flawlessly !!!!!! L and SLIM setup as well, herewith some pics of the SLIM setup for variety. Thank you Dunc001......................

Just reflash Rom without wipe, reboot and then flash mod.Good luck.
EDIT:With viper dark 7.0.8 working without problem, but with viperlite blue, maybe dev will help you.

There shouldn't be a ViperLight blue zip for your ROM version, only ViperLight? Do you mean you flashed the theme and selected blue in aroma?

Also if you're still on Rom version 7.0.0 I'd recommend flashing the 7.0.1 update over the top (no wipe required) as you're missing the latest fixed and all of the Volume UI tweaks. You'll then need to reflash this mod.
Awesome,big thanks to you,so nice
great work thanks
can i also flash the volume ui tweaks service pack after it
because it has also the framework2.jar
i don't know if it conflicting with your tweak

I installed ViperOne 7.0.0 since it was released, the same time applied ViperLite theme and chose Blue theme.
Yesterday installed you MOD and got FC on SystemUI. and yes this was the latest theme that on HUB.
Yes i know that the latest build fixes some things and added new stuff.
Thank for the suggestion, have to find spare time for this.

Well, nothing in that that should cause your issue. If you flashed this mod last no other files affect it. So far it has been downloaded around 600 times from the Hub and yours appears to be the only SystemUI FC. Can you grab a full logcat of the crash and upload it so we can take a look?

first i want to say thanks to Dr_Sam for bringing this particular theme to my attention. had he not, this probably wouldn't exist
also need to say huge thanks to Antonda who is the original creator of this theme. original thread can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152448
alright, down to business. porting has gone extremely smoothly thus far. i've kept almost everything (i know, some probably just sighed a little here) but i have only changed very very few things. example... the message slider tab is currently green. i will be changing this to blue to better suit the theme. *please note, this is not an "all blue" theme. there are some hints of green, as well as other colors, here and there.
currently Antonda has 3 releases. at this point, i'm only concentrating on one at a time. i may only do one, we'll see. i've started with the JVP new release, but i'm going to go back to just JVP because i like the status bar a little better.
Universal theme *should* work with ALL deodexed TW ROMs, no matter what release version KI4 (and all 2.3.4)
i'm no longer supporting the Universal theme. there are just too many issues with it. it doesn't work for everything like it should. i'm leaving the link up but flash at your own risk

NOTES
all feedback is welcome. please keep in mind that i've never ran this theme on any device previously than the SGSII. there are probably some things still wrong.
Mms.apk was released pretty much how i had it. if anyone would like to lend a hand there regarding the background being changed to black, please feel free to.
oh, and the ClockPackage.apk changes were just for the tabs. i'm also aware that the other colors within the clock aren't blue... that's because the stock ROM of the SGS1 had blue. may theme this later anyway...
***blue toggles zip
i have added blue toggles as a zip file (do not flash!) for anyone that wants them. to apply, simply copy the included png image files over to your SystemUI.apk in res\drawable-hdpi using 7zip or something similar. then copy SystemUI.apk back to your system/apps folder with root explorer or something similar. change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot.

my system font being used is the Sony Sketch font. but 3G icon font face, and others, is a font called Bauhaus. it will be included and installed when you flash. will overwrite your Clockopia, DroidSans, and DroidSans-Bold fonts to make them all Bauhaus.

it really doesn't matter which you install first. i'm not including the EDT app. i'm just making sure my SystemUI.apk is compatible with it so if a user wants to use it, they have that option.

nice. thread is going fast after released.
btw does the battery extras need to be redownloaded too for every release? cuz i got the habit to download all stuff in one update and would like to know if i only need to download the new bate2 only or includes the 3 extra battery just incase i want to change them.

good question.
edit: this has changed a bit. battery variation release numbers should almost always match theme release number, ie 1.3.1 to 1.3.1. there are certain instances where you'll see the theme bumped up one but the battery variation release staying the same. this is because something changed within the main theme that had nothing to do with SystemUI.apk or framework-res.apk which is re-flashed when you flash one of the battery themed mods.
and just because i'm pretty excited, aren't you? heh
Is this the one you've posted on the VR thread? If it is, then I'm looking forward to it

as you can see, that dark blue isn't the only blue within the theme. i thought a darker blue for a tab would look tacky. guess i could do it just to show you...

Heya, I decided to port Hooolms CirclesMod from Galaxy Nexus to One X.
I love his perfect artwork. More about Holm and CirclesMod on his WebSite: http://circlesmod.dk/
It ported/recreated all statusbar icons and created new notification icons of system apps. All are High-Res, made for 1280x720 Screen.

Edit: Added MIUI Battery-Bar
Edit: Added version for Team Venom ViperX
I made a nice Aroma-Installer that gives you the following choices atm:
CirclesMod - pure
CirclesMod - centered clock
CirclesMod - with activated EQS
CirclesMod - centered clock with activated EQS
All versions include MIUI-Style battery-bar including control-app by pvyParts. After installing mod, start app to set up battery bar. The control app is still a work in progress and I will update it whenever there is a new version. I know that not all functions are working yet (flashing...), so no need to post that.
For all that want a transparent statusbar: As there were only very few requests for that, I decided not to make a complete set of files for that again, but instead provide you with a tutorial, how to make that yourself in the furture. You can find it in this post:http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=292
The versions for the venom-roms have no options, because that rom has all the options already. They have included color-matching EQS-Icons. For a description of Venom-Version and installation-instruction, look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30385364#post30385364

I know the original CirclesMod also contains a modified icon for GPS and the Alarm. Are you able to port those as well (or is that already in an upcoming release)?

Well, stat_sys_alarm.png is already included, so it should show, except the rom on One X doesn't use it anymore and uses another pic. I'll look into that.
Edit: stat_sys_gps_on.png is not in the CircleMod I have used. I made one from scratch now from stat_sys_gps_aquiring.png
As I thought, One X uses another pic as alarm Icon. When I found that I'll replace it with Hooolms pic.
Expect an update then.
That's great! Thanks again, and great work!

Updated OP: New version online with added GPS-Icons and fixed Alarm-Icon. Also changed WiFi Icons from grey to blue. Just dl again. Maybe you have to clear browser cache to not get a cached old one

Just installed - it looks amazing! And the new alarm icon looks much better then the original!
Too bad I also want Leedroid tweaks so I can't use this.

You can use it with Leedroid tweaks, but you will lose the status bar of the Tweaks. The rest works fine. I also use this with Leedroid tweaks . Just flash Leedroid Tweaks first, then this mod.

Initial feedback
Have been using this since your initial post (and the updated version including the clock icon), and a couple of points which I hope you can include in your next update:
1. Looking at Holm's original website, the GPS icon seems to be different. Is it possible to use his icon (seems better then just the standard circle that is currently on this mod)?
2. The background/centre on the clock icon seems to be "grey" rather then "black" which seems to stand out from the other icons. Can this be changed?
Otherwise, I think this is great, and goes well with Nova/Apex launchers!

Well both Icons are from his mod. I don't know which GPS Icon you are referring to, but I took the one that was in his mod (where it was only grey) and just colored it. The Alarm Icon is taken from his mod unchanged.
Think I confused myself (sorry for being such a n00b!).
I saw the attached images on the original link to the Holms website, and thought these were the icons in the mod! Guess they are either outdated, or for a specific rom
Is it possible to change the clock icon in your existing mod from grey to black?

OK i see that gps icon. It really would look nicer than the one in the mod i downloaded. But on his site there are about 50 different versions of the mod. I really can't dl them all and search for it .
The other thing, maybe. I don't promise. If I really have nothing else to do, I'll do it.

If it helps, I found the GPS icon in the Oxygen zip:
http://circlesmod.dk/android/CirclesMod_SGS2_Oxygen_232_b012-signed.zip
Also attached just the GPS image (although it's white rather then blue).

How do you like these? Problem with GPS is that the rom you took it from is a low resolution rom, so the image is much smaller than the others. It will be resized a bit, but probably will look much less crisp than the rest.
So I made new ones for both .
Updated download file. Please try it and tell me if all is fine .

FAQs
What is the hex code for BOSS?
It's 6e8a9f
Is the theme incorrectly compiled?
No worries! Set the System (stock ICS) theme, reboot, and then follow the installation guide!
Is the theme missing assets for your screen?
Click 'Apply Anyway'
Something weird happen to your phone? Theme isn't showing up properly?
Try one of the following: Reboot phone, Restore nandroid backup, Flash the rom again. Make sure you're on an AOSP based rom (AOKP, CyanogenMod, Gummy, Rootbox etc) or it won't work. If it still doesn't work, try re-downloading the file and follow the steps carefully.
No circle battery mod? (as shown in the screenshots)
You're probably running a version of CyanogenMod. If you'd like, you can either change to a rom such as AOKP which has this features, or request your rom's developer to add them. sorry
Can you theme ______ or add/remove feature ______ from your theme?
I'm open to all suggestions! Please post/pm me any/all your suggestions and hopefully they'll be added soon.

No, you need a ROM with theme chooser. As it says in the OP: Make sure you're on an AOSP based rom (AOKP, CM9, Gummy etc) or it won't work.

2 of the same question in a rom......
answer = THEME CHOOSER ONLY----If your Rom does not have a THEME CHOOSER this will NOT work.
AOSP/AOKP/CM9
my theme is only compatible with roms that include the t-mobile theme chooser. (check your settings area to see if there's a 'Themes' section). If your ROM doesn't include one, you'll have to switch over to a ROM that does (such as AOKP or CM9), or maybe request the dev to include it in a future update
thanks for the interest though, much appreciated!
Very interesting mate have you planned a future CM10 support?

not quite sure on that one, as i'll be switching my nexus s for a galaxy s3 soon and don't know if i'll want to root it or not (seems to have all the features i want in the stock rom!)
i may just make a CM10 compatible version and just leave xda to test it though, if there's a lot of people asking for it

Hey @Kryten2k35, glad to see you on a solo project on our s4. Does this include your themed apps? One question...why do you use Supernexus as a base? I mean, it was a one shot rom, not updated for long time (never used it though). What about brood AOSP?

I did see your code base after I'd already forked Supernexus. Though, I chose Supernexus because it has multiple device support (mainly S3 and S4, which I own). Looking through the manifest, most of it is AOSP with a few items from CyanogenMod (kernels, etc) so this is now more up to date than Supernexus anyway.
If you don't mind me pinching commits that provide fixes in the future (with credits in my commits, etc) then that'd be cool
EDIT:
It seems like we have pretty similar aims
Could it be possible to get some screenshots from this rom?

i flashed your rom a while ago, here are my suggestions:
1. please follow this theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634743
2. please do not show Rom control app in app drawer because it is already in the settings app. :silly:
3. more features :victory:
4. imo, it's better to use up and down arrow instead of U and D in data connectivity?

Hi,
1. I will look into that. I'm still in favour of #33b5e5, personally.
2. I considered this also. I think you are right.
3. Features are planned (check the to-do list)
4. I agree. There are already icons for up, down and up and down as per OmniROM's original implementation. I can add a secondary style like you mentioned later I also want to enable a different colour for up and down text.
Please dont change to stupid white theme this is kitkat not MilkyWay!!!!!!
Some app like photo editor bicouse this theme is wird!

I'll look into the white stuff for the future. If I can do it with VRTheme and little or no Java alterations then I could see it being included as an optional mod.

Correct that it has been tested snd confirmed with Tmo, but most everything should work on any TouchWiz ROM running Kit Kat since I use Vrtheme scripts to change the images. For this version the only things not working would be the signalbars and data Icons since the have a sprint extension at the end of the name. When I get back to my PC I will make the necessary adjustments and repost.

Glad to hear you're experienced enough to run a Backup first, not so glad to hear about the outcome... If I could get a little more info so I can check into the problem? Which options did you run, what mods were you running before, md5 was good, did you happen to get an install log (Installer asks at the completion)? Those answers would be very helpful. If you get brave and have the time, you could try again only change 1 or 2 things at a time? Let me know so the Sprint crowd can enjoy what we have going here. Good luck and thank you for the input.
Okay. Since I was the 1st guinea pig with this......
Cleared cache, Dalvik, & Fixed Permissions prior to install. I get a good stick on MOAR 2.1, but the toggles are solid green haze. Themed colors throughout the settings, caller, and MMS are about 50/50 but it's the icons not sticking. Just seems like a few UI/framework tweaks needed.
This would be SOOOOO welcome to the Sprint S5. Good luck. Take your time. Get back to us when ya can, Stang.
I'll test any updates you have.
P.S.......I saw a Bobcat Theme in there. Boy, some of us really enjoyed his work on the S3.

I have an update coming out soon and have already made the fix. Thank you for the info. If there is anything else please let me know as soon as you can so I can include those also.
If anyone is interested in updated themes including "Dialers" you can download this zip package that includes, backup/Restore script, kernels, custom recoveries, essential apps, tweaks, mods, themes, and boot/shutdown Animations. Oh yeah, also includes my Not Now ROM which is optional install.
Flash from recovery like normal, the only special instructions are for ROM installation, ROM MUST BE DIRTY FLASHED!!! I have dirty flashed from pretty much every T-mobile rom available. What I mean is I've flashed over a ROM I've had completely setup for a couple days or I have installed a ROM and in the same recovery session flashed Not Now v2.5 right on top.
All other options work completely normal with no special instructions.
There is one things about dialer themes, which is explained in the Aroma Installer. The international dark dialer is not compatible. Install the "sickmade" Chrome dialer (recommended) or the US variant Dialers
Not Now v2.5 including Missing Link

Very nice :good: I'm using MOAR 2.1 and been experimenting with different themes and statusbar icons. I almost feel like I'm going to doing "theme for a day" Thank you!

Here you go, I'm into red today
As far as anything not working, seems like some of the previews for some of the statusbar icons aren't working. Love the artwork boot animation!

NICE!! I would say that Moar rom mixed with a little Missing link is perfect! I wonder how compatible Moar is with Tmo? Looks like you have some serious control options there. I'm jealous...
WOW! So many choices I don't know where to start. Well done!!! :good: Thank you for all your hard work!!
I do have a question - I didn't see any choices to change statusbar icons, etc. I see it in the OP but not sure where I missed it

Got it. Thanks @Ramer84015!! :good:
Feeling a little blue today. Check out the brick background on the quick toggles. The work that @stangdriver44 put into this is amazing!
Are you using version 2.1 or 1.1?
