-Telephone doesn't turn off and reboot directly to the point when rom animation starts(this problem there's also when i reboot normally or when i try to go to recovery directly from quickonboot)
-Telephone doesn't recognize simcard

Warning: Extra Large Images !
FAQs:
1) Where is the app switcher gone?
A: Double tap the home button for recent apps.
2) Why doesn't long pressing the home button show recent apps?
A: Answer given in (1).
3) Where is multiwindow?
A: Still undergoing development at omni. May be added in Alpha 1, if stable.
Update: Yep, made its way into Alpha1 alright!
4) How do I use multiwindow/split view?
A: Open two apps (pretty obvious), Double tap home button. Long press the app that isn't currently in foreground, Click 'Add to split view' .
Note: Don't bother to do any typing in the second window, your keyboard will overlap the window.
Solution: Use Minuum Keyboard , as it's pretty darn small.
5) When is a kitkat build coming?
A: When it's stable enough to boot on nozomi.
I uploaded the kitkat pre-alpha instead of jellybean alpha 0. It'll have its own thread when ready.
6) When is release n?
A: Read the xda rules, then decide whether you want to ask this out loud or not..
i haz one too
Thank you for you work. Will try soon and report ..

You added screenshots to one of your posts so it's kind of a moot point now, but I just wanted to point out that the DevDB options aren't supported by Tapatalk. Lots of people use that to quickly check XDA, so it's understandable if they can't find screenshots or a download link (but as I said, the way you implemented it now with the spoiler button is perfect).
Anyway I'm really curious about Omni, I'll probably use this instead of CM. Some of the Omni devs used to dev for my previous device (ZTE Skate, tilal6991 used to develop for that, and Konstat did the Blade) and it's nice to be able to use some of their work again .

Try to restart the download.
Just flashed this, but this is pretty close to a stock Google experience. I thought this would have a bunch of customization options like AOKP normally does. Might just take some time. Just a heads up to anyone looking to get a lot of AOKP features.
So It doesn't have all AOKP features?

Roman! Been missing your work since I got my One on release. Great to see the team back and at it!
Question.. in cm11 under display settings, you can set custom led notifications for specific apps. Will that be implemented into aokp at some point or its that just a cm11 setting? I thought I remembered it being in aokp in the past.

Sounds about right. Let me guess, you're generally a user of Sense based ROMs, which are a lot larger. AOSP based ROMs (like AOKP and CM) are a lot smaller. CM, for example, is roughly 190ish: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=m7vzw

Gummy ROM is made for speed, stability and to stay as closely in line with AOSP as possible while still supporting a large amount of devices and giving you all of the features you love. It isn’t slowed down by features you’ll never use nor is it so slim as to be just another AOSP build.
Features:
* New base built from AOSP
* Status Bar Mods
* Theme Manager
* Hardware Key Mod
* Lock Screen Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options
* Background Style
* Lock clock widget
Instructions for installations:
1. Download ROM
2. Download Gapps
3. Push to sdcard
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Wipe Data and Cache
6. Install ROM
7. Install Gapps
8. Reboot System
Contributions:
* Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.
* Thank you to Google for the best source code.
* androidfilehost.com for hosting our file servers!

I'll give it a whirl. Are you an official maintainer or is this an unofficial port?
Seems pretty basic, with a few twists added as per OP.
FYI the default governor is Performance, so you might wanna change that unless you want to run your battery down on full throttle.
Seems like a pretty nice ROM, but it's not for me. I am going back to Vanir but thanks for sharing.
I'm the official maintainer.

Looks great thanks for sharing. I'll try this out tonight!
No EXT SD CARD
I flashed the rom and like everything I see so far except I cannot access my SD Card. I see the internal card - not the external one.
Something I can do? (I know this was fixed in CM wonder why I am having issues?)
I did a clean flash - maybe I missed something else?
EDIT - I flashed the custom AOSP Kernel that Temesak Created and that fixed my problem - I am now able to see the External SD Card. Not sure if there is a better solution for the missing SD Card - suggestions are appreciated. Maybe it's just me having the issue?

Too me ever cm asop ioap etc is a best ROM in its own way it the one or two bad eggs that bash and feel making people look stupid is what bring down the ROM if everyone would help and respect everyone all we would have is number ones across the board! Lot more respectful user in asop then tw! With that been said much alohas papi and team for your work!

I noticed it says it has all the features from SlimKat V3. Slimkat stopped working for Herc's not long before they released V3, people were getting black screens and other boot fails. I wonder if we're getting it now because of those features. This is pure conjecture of course but might be helpful in fixing the issue.

Can anyone get me a log to look at? I didn't know the Herc had any problems with Slim. If I can't get it figured out I'll take this rom down. Sorry guys.
EDIT: I'm going to switch to Liquid's device trees tonight after work and re build.

i'll backup my phone and give it a shot.
Yeah Slimkat officially dropped all support for this phone and another one. They posted this on the official website a while back. Won't be surprised if CM does that next. You heard it here first.

Glad I didn't flash whew but liquid base would be better
HOODtypeISH
Going to build again tonight for both devices. If anyone still has this on their phone would you quick flash with an alternate kernel on top and let me know if it boots all the way. I think it might be the kernel or tool chain I'm using to build.
Again I'm sorry guys. Will update as quickly as I can. Plus the Dev added some more stuff today so I'd be building again either way. :thumbup:

ART works if 1) use Trebuchet launcher and avoid NOVA, 2) delete Xposed framework and anything Xposed in \system\app

Ummm Hmmmmmm the Op says vs980 only. Hence why you can't get it to work
---------- Post added at 03:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:29 PM ----------
Is this pure Kk? No cyanogenmod base like the spirit rom? Why I ask is because of the kernels for aosp didn't work for it but I want to try on this

How did you download this rom for the D800, I would like to know? The OP clearly states VS980 only. And running the wrong rom on the wrong phone will make it run hot.
LTE on most custom ROMs

Try my post, there you'll find various methods to set LTE. It applies to most custom ROMs
@wadamean @Jimi Mack
Amazing things happen when you read an entire op. Yes its wizardry.

Install gsam and see of there is a system drain. Also mess around in trickster mod. Namely try changing the governor and scheduler.
