Prices are much higher than buying from other Chinese sites from Taobao, you can get pretry much everything there however you need to be able to understand Chinese which not all people do. Most of the English sites cost anywhere from 30-50% higher. I guess it's thecnext best option
Are all the sites listed on the first page reliable?
I read somewhere that the oneplus is now shipping with two Sim trays. I'd like to buy the nano sim tray. Anyone see that online anywhere I tried amazon and eBay.
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=171502304574&alt=web I think that it's for nano sim

Yup, I figured it out when I was switching between the black and white covers. It looks great with the white back but the silk white is way too slick compared to the sandstone black.

Okay cool! How long it take you to get the back?
It actually came inside of 2 weeks. Faster then the estimated date that the auction listing stated.

Over the years, my preferred method of addressing the wear/tear was not by using cases (which add bulk), but my simply getting a new phone housing when the old one gets too scratched up.
And it looks like OEM-like housing for HD mini are beginning to appear on the market, such as here.
Looks like HD mini housing is absolutely identical to Aria's. I'm going to stock up on one and give it a try.
Please let us know how this works out, I wonder if someone will sell just the back cover.
Sent from my HTC Liberty using XDA App
With most phones now having glass in the capacitive touch screens, I just don't see your extra housing providing much protection from a drop.
It's still a good idea though.

Indeed I'd be concerned about the screen in the case of a drop, but agreed its a good idea. Let us know how this works out, I'll have to keep it in mind if it does work on if/when my housing ever takes a beating
I bought 2 of these from ebay thinking the exact same thing. They were advertised for the HD mini as we all now know it is the arias winmo twin. When i received my housings I was very excited to try them on but ended up being very disappointed. The housing came with a few pieces of excess plastic from the manufacturing process which was no big deal. Next I noticed that there were no volume buttons, again not too big of a big deal as they can be carefully removed off the old case and hopefully attached to the new case. The absolute deal breaker was the fact that the Aria antenna IS the back cover, and this replacement did not include the antenna. I examined the original and I do not believe it is possible to remove the antenna and reattach it to a replacement. However this particular housing may be different, either way let us know what your results were.
check these out they look like oem with the htc

You're right -- none of the HD mini housings I see advertised on Ebay have the antenna contact leads on the inside

That's a case, what's being discussed here is the actual body of the phone
It's too bad about the mini's back cover not having the antenna contacts, hopefully true Aria accessories will start coming out and you can get your hands on a real housing for it
ya sorry about that , it was deceptive looking the first one i looked at had the logo and tri-screw holes. thought it was a replacement back cover
I didn't want to Void my warranty by soldering the touchstone wires inside the phone so i cut open a micro USB cable and wired the coil to it. Much easier way to do it i recon.
Neat idea, though I'm not really convinced wireless charging is an improvement over wired so long as the phone still has to be right next to the hub.
Nice proof of concept though, certainly more user friendly than soldering.
Always nice to see a Touchstone mod. I wired my coil up to the pogo pins for a neater appearance, and to leave the micro USB free. Works very nicely as a desktop dock/cradle.

I tried wiring it to the Pogo pins on the outside of the phone but no success. Unfortunately i sent my phone back for a full refund today (Screen seems to be coming off and vibration motor is weak) This was my 4th replacement. Given up with HTC now. I'm getting a Sony Xperia Z

A very small piece of copper foil screwed up and pushed into the pogo pin recess was how I managed it. Not the most elegant solution, but it works well Top pin is +5V, bottom pin is Ground.

1st phone had Audio stutter issues and the vibration motor was making a clicking noise, Sent it for repair and returned it the same way. Not even the software update fixed the issue. The second one had Screen flex issues and capacitive button light leaked a lot into the screen. Third one has screen flicker issue mostly visible in grey areas. Software upgrade and custom Roms did not fix the issue. The 4th one's vibration motor was weak and did not work sometimes and the screen was loose from the top. Its like they have not used strong glue to stick the Digitizer to the LCD panel. My girlfriend has the same phone which she got on contract yet she has no issues with it. I guess i'm an unlucky guy when it comes to HTC. I should get my Xperia Z on March 1st Super exited

My case is both thin and tight to the back, and it will fit in there as it is, but it will leave a bulge. I refined this by carving out recesses in the case with a dremel for a better fit, and now you wouldn't know that anything is in there. I recommend using circuitry from the Palm Pre back case rather than the Pixi as there is a smaller circuit board to fit in.
Materials are all from ebay. I just bought another Pre case so I can mod my HTC Desire, and that cost me £3.50 delivered. Touchstone bases can usually be found for about £5. If you don;t see any on there for such cheap prices, then just wait a few days and one will almost always come up. Copper tape/foil is sold on there too, usually marketed as snail repellent.
A word of warning about the Touchstone base: you need a very slim micro USB plug to fit in the narrow gap. The One X lead works perfectly, but anything bigger will not be able to go through the opening.
Finally here's a diagram showing the thickness of the parts. Have fun modding

Turns out they are backordered. In order to replace it, you need some needlenose pliers to pull the anchor out of the phone part. If you just rip it, you likely won't be able add a new one.

It's also very easy to replace the cover if you just undo the screws on the lower half of the phone and gently lift that part of the back slightly off. Just enough to have the space to fit in your new cover!

I haven't purchased extras yet but I can't see why the eBay ones wouldn't work.
I don't know of videos specifically for this but you can check out videos of basic S4 Active disassembling to see where the screws are etc. It's a very minor job.
Tonight I tried forcing one into place with an eyeglass screwdriver and it worked great, so I guess you don't even have to unscrew the back of the phone! You learn something every day

Wow that's very interesting. I just found that if I push the port in a certain way it closes fully. I shove the right side in all the way and then push up on the part closest to the screen and its very secure.

How long are you guys finding that your cover lasted for before needing to be replaced? I've had mine for over 2 years and I haven't had any problems with it.
Mine lasted for about 2.5 years (was slowly falling off, then ripped) the first branch of covers (same as you can find by the links in the first post) that has gray rubber insert was somewhat defective, it can be ripped easily and not closing securely all the time, so Samsung actually replaces them in service centers, I know guy who took his phone to service with faulty display and they replaced display and cover to one similar to Galaxy S5 with flat white rubber insert. I got new one from service for about 5$ and this is a newer one (same as S5's) and to replace it, you just need to undo bottom screws, then easily with fingernail you can lift up back of the phone just a little bit, and old cover (just a piece of it in my case) will fall off, so you just need to put the new one and put button screws back (decorative, round plastic bits you can take off with needle, there are tiny groove for it).

Can you post some photos of it? I'm wondering what's so much better about the new ones. I've had mine for 2.5 years as well and haven't seen any signs of wear and tear yet.
Well, first of all, the rubber base is secured better on the plastic cover itself so rubber won't gonna rip off as easy (mine riped off from plastic about a year ago, and now rubber itsetf brake) if you happy with yours, thats good because as for me I didn't had another choise. Before installing new cover I took pictures of new and old, here they are.
I know this probably a dead link, but is the port door made of rubber or hard plastic? It seems to be made of hard plastic.

This sounds like Vifocal all over again! I urge you to not buy anything from them. They sent me a used screen with no frame that I paid for. The copper strips on the back were scratched/stripped. Also, there is no speaker grill.
Beware when buying parts for your phone. Most sellers will send you used parts. Go to the feeeback sections and read everything! I myself am waiting for a refund!
Hi
Does the link for the screen point to a Genuine LCD with the same specifications as the factory fitted one?
Thanks
YOU THINK I AM JOKING BUT ITS NOT JOKE
I WAS ONE WHO NOT PURCHASED ANY BACK CASE WHEN I GET ONE PLUS TO SAVE SOME MONEY
STILL I DON'T HAVE IT
I AM LEAVING IN SO RURAL AREA WHERE AMAZON PRODUCTS REARLY SHIPPED BUT I MANAGED TO GET OPO
FINALLY MANAGED TO PREAPERE ONE PLUS BACK CASE FROM BOX GIVEN BY ONE PLUS ITSELF
THE GIVEN BOX IS SO PREMIUM THAT I WANT TO USE IT FOR BACK CASE
BOX WHERE WE POOT OUR OPO HAVE GREAT FITTING TO PUT OPO
ONLY THING WE NEED TO CUT IT AS IT LOOK LIKE BACK CASE
REQUIREMENTS:-
SCISSOR
BLADE OR CUTTER
MARKING PEN
STEEL PINS
STEPS
1) REMOVE EXTRA SHEET OF PAD CONNECTED TO OPO CASE PRESENT IN U R OPO BOX USING SCISSOR
2) MARK EACH AREA GIVEN BELOW WITH MARKER PEN
SO U CAN CUTT IT CORRECTLY WITHOUT ANY MISTAKE
3) CUT FOLLIWING AREAS WITH BLADE OR CUTTER
AND WHERE ARE MIC POINTS JUST USE PIN TO MAKE WHOLES
1)VOLUME BUTTONS
2)POWER BUTTON AREA
3)SPERAKERS AND USB PORT AREA
4)HEADFONE JACK AREA
5)MIC POSITION PONTS
4) WHEN U GET FINAL PRODUCT GIVE FINAL FINISHING TO EDGES SO IT LOOKS GOOD
I MADE IT FOR FUN PURPOSE
BENIFITS
1) IT FEELS LIKE NEW PHONE IN U R HAND LIKE ORIGINAL BACK CASE
2)AGAIN WHOLE THING IS WHITE SO U CAN MAKE ANY DESIGN ON BACK
3)PROVIDE SOME PROTECTION TO ORIGINAL BACK FROM DUST ETC.
4)EASILY FITS IN POCKET
DRAWBACKS:
1) THOUGH MATERIAL IS PREMIUM BUT IT IS WHITE IN COLOR WITH SOME RUBBERIZED NATURE
IF U FALL U R PHONE IT MAY GET DAMAGED SO NO FULL PROOF PROTECTION
2)EASILY GET SOME DUST ,SMUDGE etc.
4) VOLUME PANEL AND HOME BUT AREA ARE HARD TO CUT IF THEY ARE NOT SHAPED CORRECTLY THEN ITS HARD TO POERATE VOLUME AND POWER BUTTON
5) IT GET FITTED WELL IN CASE BUT NOT PERFECTLY IF U DONT GIVE SOME SUPPORT WITH HAND TO CASE WHEN PHONE IS DOWNWARD IT MAY FALL
SO BE CAREFULL
FINALLY IT JUST FUN PURPOSE BUT GIVE IT TRY U WILL LIKE IT
All caps? Why all the shouting?

It is actually pretty impressive that you were able to cut that out to such a good fit. My opinion, however, is that the sandstone back is like a case in itself.

Now my phone is 6 month old
Corners sand stone black is getting worse day by day it is getting removed
Again i falled my phone 2-3 times and it chromium film get some damage
So i thought till get my new back case i should make an alternate solution
It just for fun not fullproof solution as back case
But when u use it u feel very handy than sand stone back case
And surprisingly every one asking which phone this is ( but this is not case previously)
I dropped my phone a few times too, and it looked ugly around the edges. The Housing Frame is really cheap and is pretty easy to replace. The back cover can also be bought for cheap. Once I finally got the parts, it took about an hour and now my phone looks brand new.
But yes, if it is hard to order parts to where you live... make a box case!

Lockscreen widget? That are not lockscreen widgets but lockscreen shortcuts to open apps directly from lockscreen.
These are available in all custom roms in lock screen settings
