Good Day All
So I am a noob !!! and I just Rooted my Samsung Galaxy note 8.0 GT-N5100 it runs 4.1.2. I have to admit I am very exited that I did the root and succeed on my first try
Now I am trying to change my boot animation and I just cant get it right
I go via root browser to the following
System > Media
all i find here are the following files
bootsamsung.qmg
bootsamsungloop.qmg
so here is my question I have gone and followed one of the treads here and used Samsung theme designer to create a qmg were do I put it so that my boot animation works.?
Please use small terms as I said I am a noob and I am learning as I go here>
Thanx in advance

Hi
I have had a few problems over the past few days, all is good now after lots of reading and help from the forums members. the question i have is this:
I have a Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and decided to change the Rom, but lost the boot animation (its now recovered) but the only kernel is this one RocketTab2.1_MOD_T210R_MK1_Kernel to get it back. If i want to set this back to original state i loose the boot animation and have to flash RocketTab2.1_MOD_T210R_MK1_Kernel.
Even if i restore with TWRP or CWM
Any Ideas
regards

It goes no further. I have no acces to recovery Menu but still have acces to odin mode menu.
I know there is a thread wich has EACTLY the same topic but the answer is too old and the files are not disponible anymore.
If I have to delete al my data or factory-whipe it i will do it but would'nt i need the recovery menu in order to do it ?

Hi,
I wanted to root my Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T116NQ. So I have unpack the "boot.image" and changed "ro.secure=1" to "ro.secure=0" in the file "default.prop".
But now I have a problem because my Tab 3 model doesnt boot in Fastboot, so I cant send the file to the Tablet...
I also can not boot in to the bootloader only recovery.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME TO GET THIS BOOT.IMAGE ON MY TABLET!
I have come so far WITHOUT any knowledge or what so ever to actually root my tablet and know Im stuck.
Can somebody please help me how to flash this BOOT.img to Galaxy Tab 3.

you need to shutdown your device and press and hold volume down home button(if it has one) and power button until it boots

To flash boot.img, you must go to TWRP (at least 3.0.0), press install, press Install Image on the botom right of the screen, select your boot.img and flash it. Also, try to clean the cache/dalvik cache.
