It's based off stock lg, only the international version so camera, Bluetooth etc all work.
Only issue I am having is mms do not send at all and do not receive every time. Outside of that the phone is finally coming to life, think it's lg's last update that fixed a lot of the lag.

I'm sure CloudyFA will be adding the mod in future updates as he's done on the LG g2.

I have no issue with mms. But in the first flashing, I cant restore all app date via TB, if restore data only it makes FC issue in that app. I restored the Zone backup in twrp then wipe everything and flashed this rom again and now it works flawlessly
Update: nice battery life after 2 cycles, quite warm, very smooth (never seen in D851 stock based rom before)
Rom updated
I just can't get this thing to flash. Sucks cause I've been on AOSP but want to switch back to stock. ZoneROMs battery doesn't last long enough for me though. Tried everything. Might try new version later, see if I can get that to boot.

You might have a bad download, check md5, 1.1 was released earlier today, try again?

Well thats what I thought at first but I tried 4 different downloads, all in which the md5 matched. But FWIW, just flashed 1.1 and it worked like a charm first try. Something about 1.0 wasnt meshing with my phone. But thanks for the help anyways.

I remember seeing someone else have a similar problem on another ROM. Try going into settings of your Moto 360 and resetting the device. It should connect after that and resynchronize itself with your apps.

As a couple others said, reset the watch. I'm running the ROM with my Moto 360 just fine. I had to reset because it wouldn't see the watch (it was still paired to the old ROM).
This ROM is perfectly stable and clean so far! Finally pulled me away from SkyDragon. Only question I had was if this supports the custom kernels? (I don't see why it wouldn't)

I was using MrRobinson's stock rooted rom. When OTA 4.1.2 came out, I unrooted, installed patch, ran CF-Autoroot then I'm back to rooted again. However I did notice, every now and then, my wifi stays connected but connection dies. Internet connection is simply dead. So I don't get any email notifications if ever I get new emails. To fix this I have to turn wifi off/on and internet is ok again. I thought maybe I did something wrong so I wipe cache/factory reset, odin back to full stock non-rooted, installed OTA then use Exynos Abuse/Exploit to root. I am still experiencing the same issue. Att Smart Wifi is disabled. Wifi is always on under sleep policy. I have scorched the net and I can't find any solutions Any help would be much appreciated.
Mine is on the oem update no root even, and my wifi sucks now. The signal and connection will be good but it can't up or download anything. Wifi speed and cellular data speeds are all sub 1mbps also. ATT wifi is disabled also.
The only thing that helps me is to just pair to another wifi source, and go back if needed. Annoying! I'd love to find some solution also, I don't mind rooting if need be for it also.

You can still do warranty to get a new one just call att and tell them your situation with it. This would be my best recommendation to you. Or just root and keep running roms. This is one phone that I havent had the urge to customize with a rom or anything yet

Thanks for the recommendation but I also felt the same before. I thought the phone was fast enough that I didn't need to try custom roms. After trying Scott's ATT CleanRom SE, that idea was simply change. If you haven't, you should try running custom roms. Although, I would still want to know if there is a solution to this problem when running stock rom.

Perhaps it's a minor bug somewhere and the custom ROMs happen to pull that wireless code piece from something other than official 4.1.2 where the bug (if it is one) is located.

Yeah but hopefully it will get fixed soon. As I was looking for solutions, some people think it's their wifi routers that are having issues.

True, but 4.1.1 didn't have this issue. They must have changed something.
I don't know if it is related to the issue in this thread, but I had a problem with the phone since I got it of the WIFI constantly connecting, then disconnecting, then connecting again. I solved it by changing the security model of the router from WPA/WPA2 to WEP128.

Yeah saw that thread somewhere but this is a whole different issue. Wifi stays connected but no connection to the internet. You get connection timeout.
Yeah mine just quits. A note 1, a note 10.1, 2 ipads, 2 iphone 4's, and xperia ion and three separate computers have had zero issues on any of the wifi networks here. In fact, if I leave it be, it will not work on the phone, and it now seems to block all the rest from access! If I turn the wifi off on this, perfect immediately afterward. Strange.

did you try just simply reset your router?
I had all the problems in this thread after 4.1.2 A factory reset fixed it.
I'm using the international ROM (custom but fairly stock) and started experiencing the same issue when I switched ROMs.
Toggling the wifi always fixes the problem, but it's not a permanent solution. The problem seems to happen when the device goes into sleep mode for me.

My note 3 works great, except the GPS.
Outside= no problem
Inside any building= takes 15 minutes, if it locks on at all!
My old phone has absolutely no problems in the same spot (HTC Dinc2).
Is this normal for the note 3, or should I consider a replacement?
I've tried all the "Fix-it" type apps from the playstore, with no change.
Edited: Forgot to mention that I'm still on jelly bean. Holding off on kitkat for a while.
Did anyone notice an improvement on KK, if their note had gps problems before?
Should I try a custom rom? I'm stock rooted atm.

Do a full wipe and try a custom rom. When I tried to run rooted stock my gps was putting me in a different state. Switched over to Infamous and all is right in the world again.
Download and install topNTP from the play store give it root access click install at the bottom select create files and reboot.
I use this app after every rom I flash and it gives me a gps lock in literally a couple of seconds even indoors.

Same problem here, running KK, all stock (not rooted). Lucky if I get a fix at all at times. Oddly, i've found that if I boot into recovery, do a factory reset and clear the cache, GPS works just fine till I reboot the phone. After the reboot, it reverts to the same ole GPS problems. Seems like some type of software issue to me, odd that it would exist in JB and KK though...

From what I've read, there are different versions of the GPS module. Some work better than others.
Though that was mainly reported for the AT&T version.

Didn't they get a software update? Though IIRC, a lot of people returned their phones for a replacement with a newer radio.
I have the same problems with GPS on my unlocked n900t.
It worked in the beginning and then almost stopped. I couldn't get any satellites on the street using GoogleMaps.
I wiped all the data and installed cyanogen 11 4.4.4 ROM, after that GPS was working good during the 1st day however I was loosing the signal in San Francisco downtown among the skyscrapers. But yesterday it didn't work again at all.
I tried TopNTP but it seems it didn't help at all.
BTW NFC doesn't work on Cyanogen11 either, so I can't use GoogleWallet now.
What can I do to fix that?
Started thinking about turning to Iphone more and more
Hi everyone,
I know that alot of users asks for this question but I really search for an answer but I didn't find a good one.
I recieved a T-mobile galaxy s4 and immediately rooted it and installed a new rom (Insane kit kat)
But after short time I understood that my calls not always works as they should.
After two calls suddenly I stopped to hear the other side and the other side stopped to hear me.
I tried a few times and sometimes the call was good and sometimes not.
I asked on the Rom thread and they told me to switch my modem to nb4 and i did it... but the problem remains....
I also switched the kernel to KT but also... still no luck...
And today I also switched the rom to Resurrection Remix and it worked for few hours but the problem returned and stayed....
So someone got a good idea to what should I do before I take the device to a lab..?
And I hope this thread will help otherslike me that got the same problem...
Thanks!

So.... I returned back to stock, at the first attempt the WIFI didn't worked so I flashed again and then I started to make calls... but..
after few good calls the problem returned again...
In my opinion I really think that the problem is in the software and not in the hardware because I can make some regular calls.
The sim is brand new but the cell company that I belong to is working with roaming only and based on other cell company network...
I'm really hopeless.. it's really sucks....

You mean a "hardware" problem? If you returned to full unrooted stock and you calls are still messed up you have 2 choices....
1. Return it for warranty purposes.
2.ReRoot and run a custom rom again just to make sure.
Other than that, I'm outta ideas

I know this is a long shot but have you tried shooting canned air into the mic and speaker, or using a headset? Canned air has fixed two mystifying problems for us, and it seems equally likely that this random behavior is caused by hardware.

No crash at all on my side with pa stock 5.1 gapps
i feel like it should work with the official cm package, no?
it looks like the issue might have something to do with multiple user accounts.. i only have one account. i wonder if there's a way around this. i've been reading some other people's reports about these crashes and many are saying that it doesn't matter which gapps package is used. i guess i'll try pa gapps if i don't have any success

I'd like to save you guys a lot of heartache - Bluetooth is definitely an issue depending on how and where you use it. I've found that if you're pairing with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) devices or car head units, Bluetooth will crash consistently. I actually posted my attempts to troubleshoot it in a thread here: forum(dot)cyanogenmod(dot)org(slash)topic(slash)108738-bugs-with-121-on-i9505 (same username, my account here is too new to post links) and you'll see that my last post (as of this writing) is that I'm reverting to stock.
As I type this I'm anxiously waiting for all of the stock updates to finish so I can do some testing with my BT LE HRM and see if Bluetooth is stable again.
stkpxl said:
It seems like a pretty big issue. Not sure why it isn't working correctly since it is a much older model. It is definitely annoying to deal with.

Definitely an annoyance. I posted in the other thread and should probably put my update here as well - I flashed back to stock (4.4.4) and have gone a full day without any Bluetooth crashes. I have a Nexus 7 that I've also flashed to CM 12.1 and would like to experiment to see if I have the same BLE problems there, but unfortunately just don't have time since I'm heading out of the country in a few days. Seeing as how I'll be without a high speed connection (no ability to research or download updates) it's more important that I get back to a stable stock while I'm travelling. When I return I may find some time to experiment further and see if it's even possible to extract the Bluetooth packages from my stable 4.4.4 system and somehow use them on the CM 12.1 installation. I'm a newb at this but I'm hoping that there's some level of cross-system compatibility, kind of like how drivers for Windows 7 usually will work on Windows 8.

Hello. This is locked to Bell. It already got the 60% battery update a while back.
I will NOT be using this as a phone. It will be used for other purposes like outdoor remote wifi cam or something so I need the wifi working.
Is there any way to block the Wifi / Bluetooth killing update or root it and install a custom ROM ?
Again, I don't care that they blacklist the IMEI. It won't be used as a phone. Thx.
Nevermind. I solved it. No thanks to XDA lol

Flash a custom rom first and then flash a custom kernel. All will be back to normal :good:
I have a note 5 rooted running a note 7 rom and I keep getting the message from Samsung popping up on my phone to return it - I hope they don't disable my cellular / wifi / Bluetooth - wonder if I should flash a note 5 rom to be sure

That's not a smart idea... Very risky. I'd flash a Note 5 ROM.

Its not an issue according to me because if they have to disable cellular etc then it will be in form of a stability update to trick people. Your phone will be affected only if the developer of the note 7 rom uses a new base firmware. Since you have a note 5, they cant even disable your imei number just because you use grace ux. I would prefer deleting samsung push service, Fota update service & KLMS agent apks from root (There can be something i am missing. If so please specify). Perhaps it may stop those messages

I also have the Bell version, Snapdragon. Where can I find a Custom Rom/Kernel that works with my version, SM-N930W8? Thanks!

I am completely new here, sorry. So does that mean it is completely dead after the 15th and can't really do anything about it?

Well, what do you guys use to back everything up on the computer such that if the block indeed happens I don't end up loosing everything?

Im counting the days brother.
Laugh, told my gf her phone may not work after 15th, she almost killed me. Shes messaging me now as we speak. Telling me how much she loves Nova luncher and how cool her phone looks now.
ahah funny how she never got the sms from rogers informing of the block.
I went over to see her yesterday. Flashed her phone again, blocked everything like mine with debloater, just in case. (she didn't have anything blocked and update never was pushed suprisingly.)
Now its fishing time. Sitting quietly, waiting to see what happens.
p/s (ive been messaging few people on kijiji on imei fix, so far no luck.)

I thought part of the update will disable charging? That means if the juice runs out the phone won't even turn on right? Sorry for the novice questions.
