yeah I was wondering the same thing, I preordered my optimus g from ATT, I have been searching all over for cases, with no luck

Spoke to Spigen's customer service, they told that cases for the LOG are in the works. So far they only have the crystal screen protector out. But, as I was told, Crumena, Valentinus, Ultra Thin Air, Ultra FLip, and Neo Hybrid cases are in the works. So SGP fans, sit tight and relax.

I keep checking eBay for a case so I can have everything set for when I get the phone. I imagine they'll be along soon, being such a high end device people will want protection from day one. Like a kid on Christmas waiting on this device!

Got mine from ATT yesterday and they had a case on display, it's a dual protection case for $35, adds a little thickness to the phone. I did find this one online http:// www.amzer.com/Amzer-Simple-Click-On-Case-Black-P95089.htm

I ordered one from this site...
It has free shipping if you use the code "Election" at checkout. My only concern is it states it's compatible with the international and ATT version which is impossible. I ordered the sprint version which is identical to the international. I think after looking at the picture that it's for the international version. I'll report back when I get it in.

got it from att, and it compliments the phone perfectly. an added benefit of this case is it creates a lip on the back of the device that is great for gripping, two thumbs up for this case...

Found a couple on AT&T's site.
Belkin Black/Gray Surround
Body Glove Icon Hybrid 2 gel/shell pack

I got the body glove. Doesn't add much size, looks good & feels more secure. The stock case fells a little slick to me so I was nervous about dropping it.

I got the bumper today and I really like it. One con tho is if you use a charger where the end is any thicker then the one that comes with the phone it will not fit into the slot provided in the case.

Otterbox needs to jump on this phone QUICK!

Any news on one for art unfortunately this ones for sprint

I'm waiting for the dual screen dual play display. I love the phone so far (picked mine up in store on Nov 2nd). I looked at the belkin bumper while I was in the store. I ended up just going naked. So far I've only gotten a small scratch on the plastic side, the front and back are pristine.

I can tell because when you go to the page and look at rear pic of the case you can tell by the camera module that it's for international and sprint

This case if definitely for the Sprint and International as the camera cut-out is for the 13MP camera. I really hope they make accessories for the AT&T version (though I bet it's not so easy as the sides are rounded, which I really hate).

I emailed otterbox about a case for the att version and they told me they have one in the works but no ETA

Does the bumper allow you to see the LED notification light on the power button, or does it cover that up?

found this bumper. its has the hole for the antenna on the Korean version but who cares right? looks similar to the nexus 4 bumper......

Future Shop for us Canadian folks is starting to carry an official LG Branded Optimus G bumper as well as a flip cover. The bumper just doesn't offer enough protection for my taste so I went with the flip cover, which I surprisingly enjoy.

Do you have a link for the bumper, didn't see it on the site!

I have this bumper. Just put it on. I like it. This is my first bumper case. Thought I'd try one out since I like the back of this phone so much. Now I'm just waiting for my front and back shield.

Just got the bumper myself directly shipped from South Korea and man is it even nice. It fits our Canadian Telus Optimus G really snug and perfectly. The buttons are perfectly aligned and doesn't push down at all and adds just the right amount of elegant touch all around. I have the black one.

i also purchased the Korean model (think thats the only one offered) off EBAY for my Telus. i was hoping it would not be to bulky but from your review it sounds like its a perfect fit.

great video. one correction though. the usb charger supplied with the G does fit with the bumper on. i just received the bumper yesterday and it fits snug as a glove. love the titanium look.

Yes, the official USB does work, but not if you try any other "bigger" one, like if you got one in the car, one @ work, etc...I tough I specified it in the video, maybe I forgot!
as for shipping from canada to US, considering the customs and how long they can take, I wouldn't expect it to be delivered within a week! Have you tryed best-buy?

just got the bumper from Futureshop today. the free shipping (within Canada) took only one day to deliver.
Definitely a better case by look and feel compared to the hard rubber one I got from Telus. I like the grip better, looks sharp. But it also leaves the back exposed.
The only gripe is that my earphones with L-shaped connector doesn't click ALL the way. Still plays music but comes off a bit easy.

Which cases for E971?

Many cases say for Sprint (LS970?), AT&T (E970?) or Bell (E973).
Which ones are compatible with Rogers E971?

E971=LS970/E973 in terms of size. I purchased the Diztronic case and like it quite a bit. $15 shipped to Canada. If you're prone to destroying your phone, you might want to consider an otterbox.

Do you have a screen protector? My current $5 case "bubbles" my screen protector so I don't use it.

The AT&T E970 is the only one of the bunch with a different body.

Not using a screen protector, so I wouldn't know. I think there's a thread on the diztronic case where you might find that info.

cases for optimus G
Search ebay and you can find a crystal covered case. I just ordered it for my girlfriend, so we will see how it fits when it gets here.

only one that fit was a tpu gel case from ebay!

The one from the Rogers site works really well. Doesn't affect screen protectors, adds strength/support, and no longer makes you feel like you'll break the phone by using it.

Not sure how under $15 for a hard case is considered "super overpriced". Don't think I'd trust a $5 case.
The " Avoca Metal Sandblasted Case for LG Optimus G" and "Avoca TPU" cases are only $14.99, and ship across Canada within a week.

I've just received the Avoca Metal Sandblased Case and its absolutely beautiful, very premium feel (Metal back and no shiny plastic) and doesn't add too much heft to the device. Well worth the 15$, not as tough as an Otterbox but it doesn't make the phone ugly.

[Q] Model differences in battery door cover?!

I know I'm a bit behind, just got my S4 Mini.... with the black shiny battery door cover (the only one Verizon offers ) and not liking how slippery it is and how much the fingerprints show on it.
Anyway, I've found quite a few battery door covers but they all call it a different version then what I have.
The model # on mine is SCH-1435 and the ones I can find are i9190, i9195.
I know those are GSM phones while mine is a CDMA but I was wondering if there's any difference in the size/shape. Would it fit if I got a battery door of a different version?!

For my i9195 I bought the leather backcover from the black edition of s4 mini and it fits perfectly.

I messaged a rep at Samsung's website and she said they're the same... Just different carriers. Mine is US Verizon.

My G3 is from Bell Canada, model number D852. I have an original LG case CCF-345N, but this case doesn't fit my G3, there is a gap at the bottom, does any one know which case will fit G3 D852?

That should fit. All variants are the same build as far as cases go.

I know this is an old thread, but I have just discovered the same issue
I own two LG G3's, both D855 models
The older one fits cases perfectly
The new one (Purchased a year later) Doesn't fit anything, not even official cases
(Quick Circle, Slim Amor, Defender)
Nothing fits
Very strange situation here
