1st post is to the point, but you can also decide to keep the CWM recovery.. ( just to flash mods and SuperSU.zips etc )
download the recovery files from http://en.miui.com/thread-44922-1-1.html and reflash recovery. For Indian Version choose Global :highfive:

i cant find where it helps me backing up my telstra ROM
im hopeless at reading
You have to boot into recovery and take a nandroid backup.
Install rom manager (lite is fine) from market. In this app install clockwork recovery. Boot into recovery from the rom manager app and then choose backup in recovery menu. This will create an image of your current system which is stored on your SD card.
Hi all,
I have stock ics nandroid, I am going to reflash this so, i can install the offical JB on my HOX CID__001. My question though, do i just flash the nandroid from the custom recovery or will i also have to copy the boot.img to my pc and flash this also, or is this not needed when just restoring nandroid. Currently running Maximus JB, but want the offical JB for nandroid.
You need to flash boot.img also. Fild it at sdcard /clockworkmod/backups/backupname/boot.img
can we download that boot.img from internet or it already in the sd card. is it different ?

If you look into the nandroid backup folder you see the boot.img in there, it belongs to the nandroid backup. So of you want to restore the nandroid you also have to flash that particular boot.img !
I installed yesterday Alliancerom but I wanted to go back to another customrom install and I have done that but I've got the problem with Recovery mod TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) me here you for helping me to see TWRP not received please
Can you please describe precisely what the problem is? Do you have problems getting into recoverymode? Or do you want to restore an older nandroid backup from a previous install of another custom Rom?

Ok, if I understand correctly you have a rooted phone, and you have tried a CWM recovery, then made a nandroid backup. Then decided to flash TWRP Recovery, and with this recovery you are unable to restore your first nandroid backup, correct?
So you used to have cwm recovery then? Backups made in cwm are not compatible with twrp so you'll need to flash cwm again before you restore your backup. You can find cwm in the Original Android Development section.

Okay so when i first rooted my galaxy s3 i made a nandroid backup. But after switching from clockwork mod to team win recovery to install a jellybean rom i couldnt restore to my old backup even after i switched back to clockwork mod. Id love to have a backup just in case i need to switch back. Is there anywhere i can get the actual stock rom? or a nandroid backup? sorry if it was asked before im new here and couldnt find it.
You could use nandroid manager and covert the backup to make it compatible with twrp.

Hello again,
When I wrote this post, I was using my stock rom and had no recovery.
Now I use a custom rom.
How did I do it?
I installed TWRP on the boot partition and flashed the new rom.
I don't need CWM now, thank you.

thanks God, great, you have solved it :victory:
BTW my story was that in the time I was trying to resolve this, I was also thinking that first I want to make a stock system NANDroid backup on my c1905 (and on dual SIM c2005 too) but
as we know, on Xperia M phones, which are without a Recovery partition, I could not use CWM, nor TWRP to back up the system, without TWRP/CWM installation overwriting the BOOT partition first and thus I would make my stock android system NANDroid backup to be without the correct boot partition, the backed up system would therefore never boot to android system but would boot to CWM, TWRP, etc, flashed in the boot partition in that moment
So for all of us who wanted to make (c1904, c1905, c2004, c2005 = codename nicky) Xperia M stock android system NANDroid style backup first, e.g. to be able to get back the the stock system with all the apps and settings (NANDroid style backed up system), for the event, for example, the new custom ROM would not work, then there is an app named Online NANDroid that can be installed on running stock android with already bootloader unlocked, rooted. This app does not need the recovery partition to run, it runs as a normal .apk Android app. Online NANDroid can make a NANDroid backup of running Android system. But beware: it does not backup the sdcard0 partition, you must back it up manually - it is the so called "Internal storage", that is in fact not an removable sdcard (only an emulation of it) but is a part of phone's internal non volatile memory. We can save our own files there, when not wanting to save it on real physical removable SDCard.
