Hello i want to root my nokia XL Running V1.2.3.21 (RM-1030). I have already flashed GAPPS through NOKIA X MANAGER. Now i want to root it. Can my latestversion of NOKIA XL be rooted though NX manager? Please reply if u have done it.

hey guys i am going to get this phone real soon so i got some questions to ask

3.there are two versions of htc one x like htc one x and htc one x at&t so how do i tell them apart?

Id stay on stock rom
Root can be done just check android dev section
If u wanna flash must unlock bootloader
Btw the hox has best cam quality hands down GREAT BATT LIFE

HTC One XL is dual core at&t version
wait so just to confirm when i buy the phone the one with only x is the international version and the one with xl is the at&t version.but is there is there any need to unlock bootloader?
I like unlocking my bootloader so I can backup my data partitions with Clockwork Mod. You can't Flash without unlocking the bootloader (don't see why everyone is up in arms about bootloader unlocking).
Also technically the AT&T version is the XL, but they call it the X. The only way to tell really is to check to see if it has Tegra 3 versus the S4. Though if it's AT&T it'll be chalk full of AT&T crapware.

Take it to Nokia Care. Last choice.
What model of Nokia is it? Is it a Windows Phone? What ROM did you flash it with? Remember Nokia is now owned by Microsoft. If it's a Windows 8 phone it should still be under warranty. Take it back to the dealer and don't mention anything about flashing the ROM.

there is a software known as nokia XFlasher that forcefully applies the rom or the OS of any dev. to your nokia 'X' Device...
follow my inst. to successfully flash nokia X(L,+,2-00)
now if you have a nokia X,X+ search google for 'RM980 flashable zip.' and the nokia X vesrsion you want....
if nokia XL search google for 'RM1030 flshable zip.' and nokia XL version you want....
now that it is downloaded you install the software NOKIA X FLASHER and open it.
for more instructions go 2...
YOUTUBE AND SEARCH "Nokia X Flash stock ROM with NX Flasher"
it will give you your downloadable files but for nokia X,X+ but would work for nokia XL,X2-00 too

Yes, you might loose root. But you'll be able to root again using Nokia X Manager.
However, if by update, you mean installing custom ROMs, then let me tell you that almost all of them are rooted.

i was trying to change the nokia xl fonts and messed with system_fonts.xml and fallback_fonts.xml
then there is no text in phone !
tried adb push/pull (nokia xl device not found error on adb).
finally flashed lewa os but the rom have problem with camera.
now i am looking for a way to get back to stock rom.

In the Android Development Section, the 2nd or the 3rd thread is on How to Flash Nokia and still you guys keep asking.

Download the latest version of Nokia Care Suite and it should be able to flash your device, bro.

Hi, TA-1054 does not have NFC but every model of Nokia 6.1 (TA-1043, 1050,...) have. So if you install the Rom on the devalopment section it will bootloop or go to Download Mode. So now i'm testing some ways to boot some of rom on my TA-1054 but i'm had no time to do.
