[Request] PIT file for Tab S 8.4 SM-T700 - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
I would be very happy if someone could upload the PIT file for the Tab S 8.4 WiFi-only (SM-T700).

Could this help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2827840 theres not pit uploaded for the smt700 yet.

Didn't solve my problem but still many thanks!
It seems to be a Heimdall on Mac issue that it can't pull the .pit off the device.

I have not seen any pits for that yet. Don't flash T705 on T700 as T705 has a few more partitions than T700. It may brick your device even

There are plenty of t700 owners that could upload here, but unfortunately can't be bothered

Why do you need a pit file? The only reason would be for flashing a ROM in Odin, and we don't yet have an Odin ROM for the GT-S7560M Ace II X. If you just want a partition table, I can give that to you.
reason for pit files

I don't know If that's what I want, s7650m has a problem with the serial number, "000000000", and it doesn't recognize any sim card, so I figure if I can get a pit file for my s7650m and reflash the entire phone with a stock rom, that might resovle my problem.

No, but we don't yet have a stock ROM for our device. Samsung seems to have screwed us by not releasing a stock ROM for us, The closed thing we have is some Samsung open source files that can be used along with compiled 4.0.4 to make a stock ROM. Tell me, what is your service provider? I think I can help if you answer that question.
Thank you so much for ur help, my service provider will be virgin mobile, which is in North America Canada; however I travel back and forth between Hong Kong, China and Canada alot, do u think this can be done so my phone can be use in all these places.

Hi,
No it didn't work. I tried to flash a lot of boot files and firmwares ... And inthe last try my phone switched off in te middle of the process without wanting to switch on again: hard brick!!
Since your phone is still able to switch on and enter recovery mode ... I recommand to let the nearest samsung store deal whit it.
Good luck
Hi
Whit cmd on terminal emulator attached #1 we can create the pit file (not good for devices 32 GB). I made it. We have it on Sdcard.
It is out.pit inside out.zip.
The PitMagic is appl to extract the pit file on Windows Pc. Choice PIT file Analysis and open the file. Only to verify if the Pit is alright (this out.pit is) and have a listing if is good.
PIT_Analyses is the listing from the Pit File created on my S4 Mini I9195. The partition number is the "identifier".
I made this but never tried it. If you want try at Your risk, my out.pit created.
WOW

Hi, it is possible to create a pit file to have more space in interial memory? In my second phone Galaxy s2 (16Gb) I "put" pit file with 6GB. And from this time I do not have any problem to install everything i wont. For s4 mini LTE 8GB it is possible?
Hi,
I noticet it was possible through this thread to obtain a pit file for the S4 mini to restore factory settings.
I need a pit file too but modified using the combination of internal storage+SD card.
I created a thread for this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...5-pit-file-t3199645/post62789202#post62789202
I was told to use pit magic but I do.not know how to use it well.and hot to.combine both media.
Can someone please help me out reaching my goal?
Unfortunately, till I do not get this pit file (proper and reliable) I vlcannot installed/upgrade to Lollipop.
Thank you

Have you tried to do a full firmware recovery in Kies?
Also the PIT file I think is needed is: GT-P5210_EUR_XX_20130523.pit & unfortunately the only place I've seen it is behind a pay wall.

A stock firmware should have all of those except for pit, which i can provide to you.
No matter what I am flashing to my device and no matter whether odin says its succesful or not ntohing is being written to my phone. It is quite bizarre. I flashed TWRP for example and different versions of CWM yet my recovery always loads as the same one.
I am soft bricked in a kind of boot loop, without the loop, there my phone hangs on the samsung boot screen. I have recovery and bootloader

sounds like you may have flashed something made for a T211. Check the build.prop file in the system folder and see if it shows T211 or T210 for the model.

did you but this device new, or used? if it is indeed a T210, then someone flashed a rom for T211. If you want it to say T210, my advice would be to download the stock T210 firmware and flash it using Odin. If it works fine as it currently is, then I wouldn't worry about it.
